DEVELOPMENT WEB APPLICATION FOR ENHANCING INFORMATION AND ACTIVITY IN RPTRA MAYA ASRI 13
RPTRA is a gathering place for children and other residents to socialize physically. The children can play at RPTRA. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic which causes physical activity restrictions, this is an obstacle for RPTRA. Due too physical distancing and social distancing, no one can visit RPTRA. So, The RPTRA must be transformed if they want to be sustain and growth in the future. In addition, in order for the RPTRA to develop, digital transformation is also needed in the development of the RPTRA. Based on related research, digital transformation is needed for community to growing in the future. Through a research methodology that starts from collecting data through Contextual Inquiry, then it is analyzed and produces a system design using UML and user interface design using Figma. Furthermore, it is developed into a website application. This website application is evaluated through System Usability Scale (SUS) and heuristic evaluation. The evaluation results show that the proposed application has an SUS value above the average. We can conclude through this website application can be used for sharing information inside the community also can engage with the society . In the future, it is hoped that this RPTRA website application apart from being an information suggestion can also be used to market the products of RPTRA itself so that it can add to the economic value of this website
PROMOTING HEALTHY SNACKS TO ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS CHILDREN USING ANIMATED CARTOON IN TEBET, SOUTH JAKARTA
Based on elementary school’s environmental observations, there is still much consumption of unhealthy snacks among children, especially in Jakarta. This program aims to increase healthy snacks knowledge for elementary school students at SDN Menteng Dalam 07 Pagi and SDN Menteng Dalam 05 Pagi, Tebet District, South Jakarta. The method used was the provision of education through watching cartoons about eating healthy snacks. The students were excited when watching cartoons for 30 minutes. Students were also measured for height and weighed to determine their nutritional status based on BMI/Age index. Knowledge improvement was evaluated by giving pre and post test questionnaires. The results showed a significant increase in knowledge between before and after watching cartoons. Animated cartoons can be used to promote healthy snacks among primary school students
THE LESSER PROMINENT FACTORS CONTRIBUTING TO MALAYSIAN GRADUATES EMPLOYABILITY
Malaysian graduates, both undergraduates and postgraduates are having some difficulties in getting employed upon their graduation. This issue has been a debate since many years ago especially in the Covid-19 pandemic, jobs less offered in the market for the graduates to grab. This research looks at a few less prominent factors of employability among 171 Malaysian graduates who have graduated within the last three (3) years and currently employed. Through SPSS statistical analysis, the research found that age, gender, level of study, staying at campus hostel and field of study directly give effect on graduates’ employability. The younger the age of the respondents, being male graduates, being undergraduates, staying at the hostel campus with campus life experience and being from management/social sciences background were found to be factors that contribute for Malaysian graduates’ employability
INDONESIAN STUDENT CULTURE SHOCK IN THE REPUBLIC OF CHINA DURING THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC
Many students have a goal to achieve success by getting a better education, one of the countries that is a destination for Indonesian students to study abroad is China, but the covid-19 that was endemic at that time in Taiwan made Indonesian students try to adapt to the situation. government policies and culture. The study entitled "Indonesian Student Culture Shock in the Republic of China During the Covid-19 Pandemic", aims to explain how students communicate during the Covid-19 outbreak and express students' feelings and hopes in conditions of self-quarantine and social distancing due to COVID-19. The theories used in this study include interpersonal communication, culture shock theory, phenomenological theory, the hybrid sociocultural framework theory and communication adaptation theory. This study uses a phenomenological method, a qualitative descriptive approach with a constructivism paradigm. Data was collected by interviewing four Indonesian students studying in Taiwan at two different universities. The results of the study found that the adaptations made by students from Indonesia regarding the new culture in Taiwan and the current epidemic of Covid-19 will lead them to a better communication relationship or vice versa. In terms of adapting to the new culture in Taiwan, students from Indonesia have begun to be accepted by the new environment and have felt that they have succeeded in adapting, which means they have good communication relationships with Taiwanese students and other local communities
EMPOWERING THE COMMUNITY TO OVERCOME COVID-19 PANDEMIC IN TAIWAN AND THE SCIENCE - AN EXAMPLE OF ELECTROLYZED WATER
Serve Acute Respiratory Syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV2) outbreak from the December 2019 in China has brought over 220 million infected cases and caused over 4.55 million of death. COVID-19 pandemic till now destroy the human health, communication and economics, uncountable loss and huge influence greatly impact this world. In the past period, many cities were locked down in most countries. The status significantly change the life style and business condition. Available alert systems for the prevention of COVID-19 infection are very critical for a country, and reduce the threat to life. Fortunately, Taiwan empowers the management and control of immigration to stop the outbreak of COVID-19 effectively. No lock down or any influence for this society until the middle of May 2021. A missing point from the flight crews brought a wave of local transmission on 15th May. The highest infected cases were 550 per day (total population of Taiwan is 23 million). Fortunately, this outbreak is well controlled under the self-awareness of all citizens, wearing face mask, sanitary behavior promotion (proper cleaning and washing hands), vaccination, and quick and correct pandemic investigation and proper isolation successfully reduce the infected cases to 1-3 per day in two months. Till today, 16103 infected cases and 839 cases are found (15th September). From the past experience, community empowering is very important to prevent the outbreak and continuous transmission of COVID-19. From the science view point, except vaccine, some technology materials could show great potential on this pandemic. Electrolyzed water (EW) is a new type of cleaning and disinfecting agent obtained by electrolysis with dilute sodium chloride solution, it has low cost and harm to the human body and is also environmentally friendly. The anode produces acid electrolyzed water (AEW) and is mainly used to inhibit bacterial growth and disinfect. The cathode provides basic electrolyzed water (BEW), which is implemented to clean the surface of objects. EW is a powerful multifunctional antibacterial agent with a wide range of applications in the medicine, agriculture, and food industry. Studies in vitro and in vivo show that it has an inhibitory effect on pathogenic bacteria and viruses. Therefore, EW is used for the prevention of chronic diseases, and in recent years it has been discovered can be used to against infectious viruses. Not only animal experiments, but also clinical trials have also obtained more and more relevant research results, such as accelerating wound healing, oral health care, anti-obesity, lowering blood sugar, anti-cancer and anti-infectious viral diseases, etc. This chapter will summarize the application of EW in treating bacteria, viruses and the prevention of infectious and chronic diseases

STRATEGY TO DEVELOP CITY BRANDING OF CIREBON CITY IN WEST JAVA
City branding is a means to achieve a competitive advantage to increase investment, tourism, and community development by strengthening local identity and citizens. City branding as a medium and message in marketing the city by using specific symbols and logos. The purpose of city branding is to build a city identity and increase the number of tourist visits. As an effort to build tourism in the city of Cirebon, it launched the City Branding tagline “The Gate of Secret”. The city branding strategy was chosen by the Cirebon City government as an effort to focus the tourism development program. Tourism is an important sector in the development of Cirebon City. Tourism is the driving force of economic activity and the locomotive of Cirebon city development. Through the city strategy, it is hoped that there will be an increase in the number of tourist visits to the city of Cirebon. However, city branding has not been able to increase the number of tourists in the city of Cirebon. In 2020, Cirebon city tourists only reached 40.5% of the target of 2.2 million tourists. Cirebon city branding has not been able to increase the number of tourist visits. The failure of the branding is because the Cirebon city government is still trapped in artificial activities. Where branding is just making a tagline and launching it. The tagline “The Gate of Secret” as a brand has not been integrated with the image of the city, tourist attractions, infrastructure, and society in the marketing strategy. The city branding strategy process has not been carried out by the Cirebon City government in developing city branding. To achieve the success of city branding, the Cirebon city government needs to do marketing. The presentation of tourism elements consists of an image, attraction, infrastructure, and people. These tourism elements must be integrated with city design, architecture, and spatial planning that form city branding. The city branding strategy is carried out by identifying what is owned and used as branding, setting city branding goals, communicating & interacting with various stakeholders with the city of Cirebon, and finally implementing which ensures all forms of communication from one city can be integrated
MAKING SOAP FROM WASTE COOKING OIL AS A CREATIVE PRODUCT AND BEHAVIORAL CHANGE IN HOUSING AREA
Large consumption of cooking oil may cause water pollution, especially in the housing area. These community developments aim to change the behavior of households to recreate waste cooking oil to become a multipurpose natural soap. A housewife or a working mom can be an entrepreneur for this creative product. Specifically, it is called an ecopreneur because of the green product. Soap can promote and sell through social media such as Instagram. Online workshops, observation, and interviews were used as a method to run this project. The result can be found that someone who cares about the environment will take a little step to make a big change. She also encourages her neighborhoods and also food stalls not just to throw away the cooking oil waste but make it more useful. She used this soap, not only for individual use, give it to those who want it, and also for souvenirs. Instagram with hashtags figure does works for promotion specially to create positive electronic word-of-mouth (e-WOM). Instagram also can make it possible to reach green consumers, not only for selling purposes but to build awareness, creativity, and relationship with other green consumers together to save the environment and make a sustainable living
DEVELOPMENT OF LOGO DESIGN FOR COFFEE SHOP “KONTAK POINT” IN CIBINONG, BOGOR DISTRICT
Coffee shops in the end became a very promising business. One of the coffee shop entrepreneurs who entered the beverage sector industry was Pijar Panggalih where the coffee shop was named Kontak Point. The coffee shop is located in the Cibinong area, Bogor Regency. There are several problems that happened to this coffee shop such as the lack of partner understanding of the importance of an attractive and informative logo design as well as the importance of registering a trademark/business and also the partner do not have an attractive and informative business logo. The purpose of this activity program is to provide socialization and assistance for Kontak Point coffee shop, especially related to understanding the importance of an attractive product logo design and how to develop it. The implementation of this socialization and mentoring activity will be carried out in stages where the place for the implementation of this activity will be directly carried out at the partner's coffee shop. The method and implementation pattern that will be used in this outreach and mentoring activity is the lecture method, question and answer, discussion, tutorial and consultation. BRANDING KNOWLEDGE ENHANCEMENT THROUGH ONLINE TRAINING FOR MSMEs IN SOUTH JAKARTA
Brands are essential for consumers and producers, but the number of MSMEs registering their trademarks is limited. MSME knowledge about brands needs to be improved. This community service uses online training attended by 57 participants. Quite several participants have already branded their products, but only a few have registered their brands. They still have difficulty creating a brand and registering it and have financial barriers to registering a brand. The stages of community outreach consist of material preparation, training, discussion, and evaluation stages. From the test results, participants did not understand the brand function for consumers and brand characteristics. Participants' understanding of the function of brands for entrepreneurs and brand elements is quite good. Most participants know that a brand must be registered, but many do not know how to register it. The test results are in line with the discussion; many participants want to know how to make a good brand and the procedure for brand registration. The understanding of the trainees about the improvement brand is quite good. The training concludes that MSMEs still need brand training, especially for online trademark registration procedures. Synchronous online training is practical because participants and trainers can have interactive dialogue so that in the future, online training can continue this activity to enhance MSMEs knowledge
