Get PDFSpermatozoa collected from epididymis cauda can be used as an alternative source of gametes in the application of reproductive technologies, because the spermatozoa has motility and the ability to fertilize oocytes. Rescuing Epididymis Spermatozoa (ES) in cattle after slaughtering in Ruminant-Slaughterhouses (R-S) is a real action reduce the import of cattle, and saving the germplasm of native Indonesian cattle. This Community Service paper communicates skills and capabilities of Slaughterhouse Managers about ES rescue. Community Service conducted in 2019, located in 2 R-S (Bogor, Depok). Problem solving is done through informal education and discussion, consultation with reproductive expert and direct practice of taking genitals. Knowledge Improvement, and skills of R-S Bogor Manager better compared to Depok in ES rescue. The skills of R-S Bogor Manager in the selection and retrieval of testicles are neater, so that the resulting quality of ES meets the criteria good anatomically of testicles. Reflective practice can be said to be an effective way to improve skills. COUNSELING ABOUT ZAKAT AS A REDUCTION OF TAXABLE INCOME
Get PDFZakat and taxes are two different obligations that must be carried out by Muslims in Indonesia. Zakat is a manifestation of obedience to religion, while taxes are obedience to the state. To reduce this double burden, the government enacted Law Number 23 of 2011 concerning Zakat Management which states that zakat paid can be deducted from taxable income. However, this law is not so popular that not many people take advantage of the ease of its impact. Most people do not understand well the existence of regulations that stipulate that the income zakat that has been paid can be a deduction from gross income in the calculation of income tax. The focus of this community service activity (PKM) is to provide understanding to the community about these provisions so that they can take into account zakat in determining taxable income, which will then indirectly reduce the taxes that must be paid. The stages in this PKM activity are: 1) Field research. 2) Preparation of activity plans, 3) Counselling, 4) Evaluation. The results of the activity indicate a change in participants' understanding of zakat as a deduction from taxable income, which can be seen from the indicators on the evaluation instrument. The outputs of this community service activity are: 1) publication in journals or proceedings with the aim that the topic of tax deduction zakat is more widely spread and known to the public; 2) the creation of a booklet about zakat as a tax deduction with a simple narration and attractive and easy-to-understand pictures. These two forms of output are expected to be able to help socialize so that the topic of tax deduction zakat is increasingly popular
PLANTING TREES IN THE CITARUM WATERSHED, JELEGONG VILLAGE, WEST BANDUNG AS A CONCERNS FOR THE ENVIRONMENT
Get PDFA sense of concern for the environment, one of which is by planting tree seeds. On this community service activities this time, we planted tree seedlings in the Citarum Watershed (DAS), in Jelegong village, West Bandung. The location selection was based on the condition of the area which was damaged by human activities, including the conversion of land into a trash can. This tree planting activity has a negative impact on the surrounding environment. This activity was carried out before the pandemic, on November 24-25, 2019 involving the Budi Luhur University Academic Community as a form of concern for the environment. This activity also involves Jelegong Village Community and Officials as well as the TNI who served as the Sector 8 task force. The tree seedlings planted were fruit tree species such as mango, rambutan, jackfruit and others.The number of trees that planted spread across the watershed totaling 150 trees. The one, who is responsibility for the maintenance of this plant is a shared responsibility between the Budi Luhur University Community, this activity is expected to increase the awareness of the people of Jelegong Village about the importance of maintaining and conserving the balance of nature, especially in the watershed area in Jelegong Village.  
IMPROVING NEGOTIATION AND DIPLOMACY SKILL OF YOUTH IN CIAMIS REGENCY FOR SUSTAINABLE TOURISM DEVELOPMENT IN THE ERA OF THE FOURTH INDUSTRIAL REVOLUTION
Get PDFWorkshop on negotiation and tourism diplomacy, supported by the promotion of literacy culture, becomes one of community services conducted by International Relations Study Program, Budi Luhur University aiming to increase the society’s capability and capacity to contribute in Sustainable Development Goals and National Literacy Movement. During Semester 1 of Academic Year 2019/2020, the community service was held in Ciamis Regency, West Java, Indonesia, as the implementation of cooperation between the local authority and the university. The provided solution was focused on some issues: the quality of human resources, and the tourism sector that has received considerable attention within the local’s development goals. In order to achieve the objectives of this program, the workshop comprised of lecture, simulation, and interactive games. The simulation was conducted through focus group discussion, presentation, and competition that trained skills required for future jobs. The workshop has involved active participation from students, teachers, and parents from 13 general and vocational high schools, and related officials of Ciamis. The results showed that students were well knowledged about the prospective tourisms in Ciamis. Participants also displayed a good degree of comprehension on rapid technology advancement in the era of Fourth Industrial Revolution, which has created challenges and opportunities for millenials as the future development agents in supporting government diplomacy for tourism. Participants also showed a good skill and understanding on how to face those challenges and opportunities by considering various factors such as the importance of digital literacy for negotiation and diplomacy, as well as the varieties of interest existed in the contemporary tourism market. The participants also exhibited capability to apply their knowledge and comprehension in supporting the development strategy for tourism sector that should include the establishment of priority in goals, and at the same time to preserve the nobility values and open mind attitude
STUDY OF TOURISM POTENTIAL OF “TEBING KOJA”, CIKUYA VILLAGE, SOLEAR DISTRICT, TANGERANG CITY, BANTEN PROVINCE

By using the instrument elements of tourism villages, researchers use qualitative methods by conducting holistic, and participatory approaches. The instrument is divided into eleven elements of tourism village and has been through verification and validation of instruments through expert judgment. The research was conducted for 3 months, namely from March 2021 to May 2021. The results revealed that tourist destinations fall into the category of "Simply Qualify" which has the potential and needs the right strategy to be able to develop existing potentials so that it becomes even better. By looking at the formulation of the problem, it will be seen how the convergence in online media is carried out. This study uses a constructivist paradigm, a qualitative approach with data collection techniques, namely interviews and documentation data. Another theory used in this research is the Media Convergence Theory which was introduced by Henry Jenkins to take a technological approach, which states that online media must contain media convergence criteria, it is stated that online media can become economic convergence if it meets criteria containing elements of convergence, whether economic convergence or convergence, technology, social convergence, cultural convergence and global convergence which contains reducing the boundaries of space and time. The results of research on Liputan6.com stated that. In carrying out the Convergence of Coverage 6.com converges on the economy, on social and on culture, which is more directed at reporting to young people. The COVID-19 pandemic is forcing schools, colleges and universities to shift their entire instructional device to one online delivery overnight. It is no longer a question of whether online education can deliver on the promise of quality higher education and more to how universities can promptly and effectively embrace the mass adoption of online learning. This research was conducted in locations affected by the covid-19 pandemic, because the covid-19 pandemic has a very significant impact on the survival of the lower class in particular. Entrepreneurs are expected to help overcome the economic problems of the nation and the State, although there are many challenges and obstacles that must be faced in overcoming problems due to limited education. and resource knowledge. This community service activity is carried out by providing online learning and training assistance for 1 month on building entrepreneurship character to youth organization (Karang Taruna). The activity is the increasing entrepreneurial knowledge and skills of participants in optimizing information technology-based programs in the marketing media for organic hydroponic vegetable Urban Farming products. The result of this activity is the increasing creativity of youth group organization and to motivate them and also create a connection model for microenterprise entrepreneurship and value creation with the economic, social and environmental aspects of sustainable development
COMMUNITY PARTICIPATION IN ROSELA WASTE BANK DURING THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC
Get PDFThe purpose of this activity is to improve the economy and environmental sustainability, create public awareness in waste management, namely the Rosela Waste Bank in Pangkalanjati Baru Village, Cinere District, Depok City, West Java Province. So far, the community has run a waste collection business with the Garbage Bank system obtained from waste in the environment, it has been going well, even the community in depositing waste has been segregated. The problem faced by the Rosela Garbage Bank is that human resources are inadequate to be able to manage the generation of waste generated from household waste which is getting higher with the Covid-19 pandemic, the community is more consumptive so that the generation of high waste needs the innovation that supports waste management, thereby reducing the pollution load. The solutions for this program are (1) Creating public awareness in managing waste. (2) Instilling public awareness in managing waste. (3) Creating opportunities in waste management to increase the family economy. (4) Creating innovations that are easy to implement in managing waste. (5) Application of appropriate technology in managing sustainable waste.The program target to be achieved in this activity plan for the two partners is to increase public knowledge about waste management with the waste bank system by up to 90%. Community skills to manage waste up to 60%. The economic aspect of the community with the additional income from the waste bank is up to 40%. To ensure the success of the program, the evaluation will be carried out at every stage of program development and after the waste bank is operational, it will continue to be monitored and facilitated so that it will continue to develop through several programs that can be accessed from both internal and external communities
ASSISTANCE OF CREATIVITY CHILDREN IN GROWING AWARENESS OF THE 5M PROTOCOLS IN THE TIME OF COVID 19

With many cases of spread and addition in South Jakarta the most recorded in the Kebayoran Lama area. It is possible that many people still do not understand the importance of the 5M concept as a protocol to break the chain of spreading the virus. This community service is carried out for TKAU children in Ulujami, South Jakarta. This segmentation of the selection of children as a basis for education and understanding the importance of 5M is carried out from an early age. Using the mixing methodnamely, the form of explanation through lectures and drawing practice, the service process went very well. Some forms of understanding about 5M by children by means of adaptive communication such as using language styles that are easy to understand. The form of creativity through drawing activities also plays an important role in building an atmosphere that is not rigid, and even becomes an exciting part of its own. Therefore, with this community service process with an understanding style, children can be understood, reached, and practiced carefully.

Get PDFCovid-19 pandemic have quite significant impact on the Indonesia education especially for Early Chilhood Education (ECE). The Indonesian government made a new policy on education including encouraging online learning for students. This model which is strongly influenced by current technological trends as part of the 4.0 industrial revolution. For example: the using of sosial media channel in teaching learning activity. Based on design thinking process, this paper proposes a practical animation video “Kisah Khoiri” to suppoert teaching learning activity. This research used Design Thinking method through experiments and direct trials with data collected qualitatively through deep interviews with key community figures and direct observation of the sample community. The Semantic Differential method used to understand the response captured by users of the “Kisah Khoiri” animation video. This research is very important to help teachers to deliver the knowledge through animation video. Hopefully, this research can be used as a reference to published animation to support teaching learning activity relatively productive during the pandemic
