    ENHANCING TUGU JAWA SOY SAUCE BRAND VISIBILITY THROUGH PRODUCT PHOTOGRAPHY

    The MSME sector is able to contribute to economic growth in Indonesia. Jawa Sehati Mulia is an MSME which operates in the field of producing soy sauce made from local black soybeans with several product variants including sweet soy sauce, spicy soy sauce, barbeque soy sauce, etc. Based on the situation analysis, several problems were found, including those related to marketing management aspects related to marketing using digital platforms. There are still limited marketing media that support digital marketing, including product photography, e-catalogs and social media content. Community service with this MSME scheme aims to increase HR capacity in marketing promotions including product photography, designing e-catalogs and social media content. In this community service activity, the service team provides intensive counseling and assistance to partners related to marketing aspects. Service partners will be trained to prepare marketing content which will later be implemented on various digital platforms. This community service is very important to help soy sauce industry increase their production capacity, as well as market and distribute services through digital channels. It is hoped that carrying out these community service activities can help MSMEs become more productive.The academic output produced through this activity is that students involved in this community service activity can apply the knowledge gained in lectures to be implemented with partners. Apart from that, students also get direct experience when engaging and interacting with service partner community groups. Lecturers can also contribute to society based on the results of previous research. Meanwhile, the expected outcome of partner empowerment through this activity is that partners will gain insight so that they have the ability to implement marketing strategies in an effort to optimize the marketing of products managed by partners. In this way, it is hoped that this program can make independent partners economically sustainable

    Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Ciganjur Village, Jagakarsa, South Jakarta, often experience difficulties in marketing their products and building a strong brand image. Therefore, a community service program was conducted to help MSMEs improve their understanding and skills in integrated marketing. This program was implemented through a series of intensive training activities, including lectures, Q&A sessions, and simulations. In the lectures, participants were introduced to integrated marketing concepts, marketing strategies, and relevant techniques. Furthermore, the Q&A session provided an opportunity for participants to clarify concepts that were not well understood and get advice from the facilitator. Through simulations, participants practiced the concepts they had learned in real situations, so that they could test their understanding and skills in facing real marketing challenges. It is hoped that through this community service, MSMEs in Ciganjur Village can improve their ability to implement more effective marketing strategies, increase market penetration, and strengthen their brand image. Continuous support from the local government and active commitment from MSME partners are essential for the success of this program.&nbsp

    The partner in this PKM (Community Service Program) is the Indonesian Community Organization (PERMAI) MSMEs in Penang, Malaysia. These MSMEs, which produce a variety of products such as food, beverages, and handicrafts, have shown promising growth. However, this development must be complemented by advancements in information technology, particularly in digital marketing, finance, accounting, and academic knowledge. Despite the rapid growth of digital media, many MSME actors within PERMAI face challenges in effectively utilizing digital marketing. The lack of skills in this area hampers their ability to compete in an increasingly digital marketplace. As a result, the need for training in digital marketing has become crucial for these MSME players. This program aims to provide MSME actors in PERMAI with the necessary skills to master digital marketing. First, many of them have not fully utilized digital platforms to promote their products. Second, without these digital marketing competencies, it becomes difficult for MSMEs to stay competitive in the market. The training focuses on providing directed mentoring, tailored to the specific needs of the MSMEs, to help them effectively adopt digital marketing strategies and enhance their business operations in the long run

    In developing countries such as Indonesia, micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) play an important role in creating jobs, driving economic growth, and encouraging business development. In the midst of the growth of the MSME sector in Indonesia, there are several problems that make MSMEs still not achieve optimal progress. One of the reasons is the lack of awareness of the importance of financial management. Because they do not know much about financial management, MSME players tend to ignore regulations. However, accounting records and financial management will be very helpful in assessing performance. SAK EMKM, which came into effect on January 1, 2018, is a financial accounting standard for small and medium enterprises (MSMEs). However, MSMEs in the Meruya Selatan Region lack understanding of SAK EMKM and skills in preparing SAK EMKM-based financial statements. This is because not all MSME business owners have economic education, especially accounting. The results of the activity showed that the participants were very enthusiastic and gave positive responses to community service activities. The questionnaire results showed that they strongly agreed by 40% on a scale of 4 with the workshop activities for preparing financial reports regulated by SAK EMK

However, these businesses face several challenges, including (1) limited promotion of their products, (2) lack of familiarity with online sales opportunities, and (3) limited digital literacy, particularly in using online platforms for marketing. The potential for growth lies in empowering members of the small industry craftsmen association to utilize online media for product promotion, which could significantly boost their business turnover. This initiative is designed to introduce the community to the concept of digital promotion, equipping MSME actors with the knowledge and skills needed for effective online marketing. By learning to use digital tools, MSME players in Meruya Utara can better promote their products and increase their market reach. The program aims to enhance participation and involvement of MSME actors in digital marketing, ultimately leading to increased consumer awareness and sales. The urgency of this empowerment effort is to provide ongoing assistance and optimize digital media usage, enabling MSME actors to conduct massive promotions that significantly impact their target audience and drive sales growth
