A Proposal of Learning by Experience of Crops Growing in Primary Education
Get PDFいろいろな作物が、子どもたちによって学校で栽培されている。作物には小学校における感覚教育、教科学習、体験学習、総合的な学習に関する教材がある。子どもが作物を活用して、遊びや学習を行い、感性を磨き、思考力を身に付け、学習に興味・関心を持つ学習指導の方策について述べる。Many kinds of crops are grown by children as part of primary education in both the coursework and the integrated study period. This paper proposes that crops growing be a suitable teaching method for helping children learn by experience and that it should be related to fostering zest for living. In addition, it discusses various teaching tactics to help children "sense" the results of their activities in crops growing so that they could get motivated for further learning

Inhibitory Effects of Organic Acids on the Growth of Listeria monocytogenes
Get PDFリステリア症は、環境中に広く存在するListeria monocytogenesを原因とするfoodborne diseaseのひとつであり、新生児、妊婦、免疫不全患者において感染しやすいことが知られている。本研究では、Listeria monocytogenesの増殖抑制に及ぼす有機酸の効果を検討した。その結果、酢酸において、Listeria monocytogenesの強い増殖抑制効果を認めた。有機酸の効果は、同一のpHおよび%濃度において増殖抑制効果の強い順に酢酸>乳酸>クエン酸>塩酸であった。また、食品への添加では、10℃および15℃の保存において0.1%の酢酸を添加することにより、食品の風味を損なわずにListeria monocytogenesの増殖抑制効果を認めた。Listeriosis is a potentially fatal food-borne disease caused by Listeria monocytogenes, a psychrotrophic bacteria that is widespread in the environment. In this study, we investigated the inhibitory effects of organic acids on the growth of Listeria monocytogenes. As a result, the growth of Listeria monocytogenes was strongly inhibited in acetic acid. Compared at equal initial pH values and % concentration, the relative inhibition effect was acetic acid> lactic acid> citric acid> HCl. The addition of 0.1% acetic acid of food suppressed the growth of Listeria monocytogenes without defects of food flavor when it stored at 10℃ and 15℃
Prince Kawashima having the Firm Friendship
Get PDF河島皇子は大津皇子と莫逆の契りを交わしながら、大津皇子の謀反を密告した人物として『懐風藻』伝記は扱っている。一般に『懐風藻』の伝記は詩作品と関連性を有しているのに、『懐風藻』中に遺る彼の詩「山斎」は、この事件とは関係を持たない春の宴の詩と見られて来た。しかるに、語句の検証により、その詩は事件一、二ヶ月前の作と考えられ、伝の記述とつながってくることが分かる。大津皇子との親交によって、河島皇子はむしろ朝廷側から疑惑を招いた可能性があり、彼は莫逆の契りを守り、大津皇子を弁護することによって、かえって密告者の烙印を押される結果となったのであろうと思われる。Though Prince Kawashima had the firm friendship with Prince Otsu, he is said to have informed the Imperial Court that Prince Otsu was rebelling against the ruler. In "Kaifuso" the poem by Prince Kawashima shows that he did not really mean it and he was deceived into suggesting his friend's rebellion by the Imperial Court
A Study of Factors Affecting Student Evaluation of English Lessons at a University : Focusing on Interest in Learning English
Get PDF本研究では、英語授業を受講している心理学専攻の大学生32名を対象とし、授業改善の一環として授業評価アンケートを実施した。学生による授業評価、学習の自己評価、および授業に対する満足度・理解度の関係を、興味に焦点を当てながら分析した。分析の結果、以下の点が明らかとなった。(1)自己評価に影響を及ぼす要因のうち、興味に関しては「学習内容に対する興味」と、「英語に対する興味喚起」の2つの要因に分けられる。(2)授業の満足度に影響を及ぼす要因は授業回によって異なるが、主たる要因として「授業の展開方法・内容の適切さ」と、「学習内容に対する理解・興味」の2つが挙げられる。The purpose of this study is to investigate the relations among "student evaluations of teaching", "self-ratings about learning" and "the degree of satisfaction with their English class". Thirty-two undergraduate students majoring in psychology responded to the questionnaire. Factor analysis revealed that interest, one of the factors affecting self-ratings about learning, can be divided into two factors: "interest in the content of the lesson" and "the arousal of interest in learning English". Stepwise multiple regression analysis showed that the degree of satisfaction was determined mainly by "the effectiveness of teaching method" and "understanding and interest in the content of the lesson"
