    Get PDF
Flame-retardant ABS resin was prepared by adding fl ame retardant, toughening agent and dispersing silicone oilwith acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene resin (ABS, grade 0215 A) as raw material. The results showed that in the ABSresin, fl ame retardant with tetrabromobisphenol A and antimony trioxide as the composite system (the mass ratio of2:1) was added. When the bromine content of the system was more than 10%, the flame retardant ABS meets therequirements of UL 94 V-0. The best toughening agent for flame retardant ABS resin is ABS graft powder. Whenthe amount of fl ame retardant ABS is 9% ~ 19% (mass fraction) Strength of 150-200 J / m; in the same formula andoperating conditions, brominated alkylene oxide as fl ame retardant prepared fl ame retardant ABS resin, the weatherresistance is better than tetrabromobisphenol A as fl ame retardant The Composite expansion fl ame retardant and coatedred phosphorus is an eff ective halogen-free fl ame retardant

Reflection-coefficient experimental extraction from S21- parameter for radar oil-spill detection application

    Get PDF
Oil spill in sea water is one of the main accidents that affect significantly the maritime environment over a long period of time. Knowing the severe influence of oil spills on the ecosystem, it is crucial to have oil spill detecting and monitoring systems for quick intervention and danger containment. In our project, we propose the usage of drones as an oil spill detection system. The drones will be implementing different previously developed multi-frequency approaches for the detection. The effectiveness of such techniques is based on the accuracy of the data collected and their match to the theory. This journal presents a method for the remote extraction of reflection coefficients from multilayer structure modeling an oil spill in sea water. The experimental results for the reflectivity extraction validate the theoretical calculations and allow the implementation of different algorithms based on the statistical information taken directly from the site

Behavior of Cast {TI OR TA}-Containing Alloys Based on Nickel and/or Cobalt in High Temperature Oxidation:Effect of the NI/ CO Ratio

    Get PDF
Many of the cast superalloys chosen for specific applications at high temperatures, such as tools devoted for shaping molten glass, are based on nickel or cobalt. They contain chromium and carbon to achieve good resistances against both mechanical stresses and hot oxidation/corrosion, by favoring the formation of reinforcing carbides at solidification and the development of a protective oxide scale of chromia during service. In presence of tantalum or titanium in the chemical composition of the alloys, high performance MC carbides may be obtained but this depends on the base element. One recently observed how the respective proportions of nickel, cobalt and chromium may promote the formation of TiC or TaC at the expense of chromium carbides. The ratings chosen for No, Co and Cr may have high influence on the oxidation of the alloys at high temperature this is what was studied in this work

    Get PDF
With the rapid development of global communications business, future personal communication wireless mobile communicationtechnology has aroused great concern. Way to eliminate the impact of co-channel interference (CCI), multiple access interference (MAI)and multipath fading becomes a major factor in improving the performance of wireless mobile communication systems. The smart antennauses the digital signal processing technology to generate the spatial directional beam so that the antenna main beam is aligned with thedirection of arrival of the user signal. The side lobe or the zero point is aligned to the direction of the interfering signal to reach the fullefficient use of the mobile subscriber signal, thus remove or suppress the interference signal purpose. Compared with other increasinglydeep and mature interference removal technology, the application of smart antenna technology in mobile communication is even more in theascendant and showing great potential. One of the key technologies of the third generation mobile communication standard TD-SCDMAsystem submitted by our country is the intelligent antenna technology. The paper introduces the history and development of the smartantenna in detail, and deeply analyzes the application of the smart antenna in TD-SCDMA. The application of smart antenna has beendeveloped

Preparation of Cage Nanoporous Silica and Its Application in Chromatographic Fillers

    Get PDF
In this paper, the cage nanoporous silica is composed of ethyl orthosilicate as silicon source, triblock copolymerpoly (ethylene oxide) -poly (propylene oxide) -polyethylene oxide (F127) as structure guide agent and additive, whilethe Fm3m cubic structure of cage type nanoporous silica was prepared by hydrothermal synthesis method. It is easyto control the self-assembly of the silica triblock copolymer intermediates thermally. In addition, the change in samplepore size and pore volume can be achieved by a hydrothermal reaction at a temperature of 100 ° C to 150 °C. Smallangle X-ray diff raction shows that these samples have ordered pores, while adsorption studies show that they havehigh porosity, uniform distribution of bimodal pores and large pore volume. Use separation of p-methylbenzene borate, iodobenzene and biphenyl by using three kinds of cage-type nanoporous silica materials as chromatographic fi llers. Theresults showed that the material prepared at 130 ℃ under hydrothermal condition had the best eff ect on the separationof three organic compounds

Group processes, intergroup relations and human resource practices in mergers and acquisitions post-combination: A critical review and research agenda for the future

    Get PDF
Despite ongoing crisis and recession, mergers and acquisitions (M&As) are used by companies to reinforce and sustain their place in business world. Regardless of M&As popularity, though, the successful integration of employees’ merging partners and the effective management of the relationships between them and with their merged organization, remains a major challenge not frequently considered during merger process. In this respect and related to the above, the present paper by critically reviewing new research within M&As, attempts to provide a comprehensive integrative review based on the essentials and implications of the social psychological theories of group processes and intergroup relations as represented by the Social Identity Approach (SIA) and related to intergroup structure, fairness, legitimacy and leadership procedures, accompanied by the description of the knowledge-based view (KBV) of M&As which focuses on knowledge integration and capabilities transfer during post-combination. In that way, it aims to reflect on pre-and post-M&A important contextual and process merger success factors (i.e. micro-behavioural and macro-organization/strategy perspectives). Also, based on significant insights drawn from empirical findings discussed, our review seeks to translate them into practical implications for organizational practice and explore promising issues and directions that could expand our understanding and managing of merger integration efficiently.

Differentiated somatic cells can be reprogrammed into induced pluripotent stem cells (iPS cells) by introducingspecific transcription factors. This technique avoids immune rejection and ethical problems in stem cell research.A great revolution in the fi eld of science. As with embryonic stem cells (ES cells), iPS cells are able to self-renewand maintain undiff erentiated state. In vitro, iPS cells can be induced to diff erentiate into a variety of mature cells, therefore, iPS cells in theoretical research and clinical applications are extremely valuable. IPS cell diff erentiationand transplantation in the treatment of blood diseases have a great use, iPS cells can treat nervous system diseases,to provide in vitro disease model, to study the mechanism of disease formation, screening new drugs and thedevelopment of new to provide a new treatment The The use of iPS cells as a nuclear donor cell, with the appropriatereceptor cells after fusion can be directly obtained transgenic animals. Not only can improve the genetic nature ofanimals, but also can break the boundaries of species and get the new animal traits that cannot achieve by usingtraditional mating methods. The research of iPS cells has been widely concerned, and it is the research hotspot in cellbiology and molecular biology. In this paper, the defi nition of iPS cells, the acquisition of iPS cells, the history ofdevelopment, the signifi cance of research, the progress of research, the application of iPS cells, and the problems ofiPS cells were reviewed
