252 latin letters, based on the CAG Online, were lemmatized with the aid of the TreeTagger and the Latin parameter files of Gabriele Brandolini. Afterwards, Lemmatization errors were corrected manually. With Wordsmith 7.0, I extracted key words out of the lemmas automatically. The results were exported in MS Excel where I added an Index and modified the design to provide it more user-friendly. Furthermore, I created a register, which makes it easier to compare parallels of the key words in the letters of Augustine. They are sorted by frequency or alphabet. It provides useful additional information for everyone who wants to study style or content of Augustine's letters
Imputation of Missing Genotypes within LD-Blocks Relying on the Basic Coalescent and Beyond [Source Code]
Background
Genotypes not directly measured in genetic studies are often imputed to improve statistical power and to increase mapping resolution. The accuracy of standard imputation techniques strongly depends on the similarity of linkage disequilibrium (LD) patterns in the study and reference populations. Here we develop a novel approach for genotype imputation in low-recombination regions that relies on the coalescent and permits to explicitly account for population demographic factors.
To test the new method, study and reference haplotypes were simulated and gene trees were inferred under the basic coalescent and also considering population growth and structure. The reference haplotypes that first coalesced with study haplotypes were used as templates for genotype imputation. Computer simulations were complemented with the analysis of real data. Genotype concordance rates were used to compare the accuracies of coalescent-based and standard (IMPUTE2) imputation.
Results
Simulations revealed that, in LD-blocks, imputation accuracy relying on the basic coalescent was higher and less variable than with IMPUTE2. Explicit consideration of population growth and structure, even if present, did not practically improve accuracy. The advantage of coalescent-based over standard imputation increased with the minor allele frequency and it decreased with population stratification. Results based on real data indicated that, even in low-recombination regions, further research is needed to incorporate recombination in coalescence inference, in particular for studies with genetically diverse and admixed individuals.
Conclusions
To exploit the full potential of coalescent-based methods for the imputation of missing genotypes in genetic studies, further methodological research is needed to reduce computer time, to take into account recombination, and to implement these methods in user-friendly computer programs. Here we provide reproducible code which takes advantage of publicly available software to facilitate further developments in the field
Perfusion quantification data for "Towards Quantitative Perfusion MRI of the Lung in COPD: The Problem of Short-Term Repeatability"
ABSTRACT
Purpose
4D perfusion magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) with intravenous injection of contrast agent allows for a radiation-free assessment of regional lung function. It is therefore a valuable method to monitor response to treatment in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). This study was designed to evaluate its potential for monitoring short-term response to hyperoxia in COPD patients.
Materials and Methods
19 prospectively enrolled COPD patients (median age 66y) underwent paired dynamic contrast-enhanced 4D perfusion MRI within 35min, first breathing 100% oxygen (injection 1, O2) and then room air (injection 2, RA), which was repeated on two consecutive days (day 1 and 2). Post-processing software was employed to calculate mean transit time (MTT), pulmonary blood volume (PBV) and pulmonary blood flow (PBF), based on the indicator dilution theory, for the automatically segmented whole lung and 12 regions of equal volume.

Conclusion
The second injection (RA) yielded higher PBF and PBV, which apparently contradicts the established hypothesis that hyperoxia increases lung perfusion. Quantification of 4D perfusion MRI by current software approaches may thus be limited by residual circulating contrast agent in the short-term and even the next day.

Cooling Off in Negotiations: Does it Work? [Dataset]
Negotiations frequently end in conflict after one party rejects a final offer. In a large-scale Internet experiment, we investigate whether a 24-hour cooling-off period leads to fewer rejections in ultimatum bargaining. We conduct a standard cash treatment and a lottery treatment, where subjects receive lottery tickets for several large prizes. In the lottery treatment, unfair offers are less frequently rejected, and cooling off reduces the rejection rate further. In the cash treatment, rejections are more frequent and remain so after cooling off. We also study the effect of subjects' degree of “cognitive reflection” on their behavior
Religion, moral attitudes and economic behavior [Dataset]
Using data for a representative sample of the Dutch population with information about
participants’ religious background, we study the association between religion and moral behavior and attitudes. We find that religious people are less accepting of unethical economic behavior (e.g., tax evasion, bribery) and report more volunteering. They are equally likely as non-religious people to betray trust in an experimental game, where social behavior is unobservable and not directed to a self-selected group of recipients. Religious people also report lower preference for redistribution. Considering differences between denominations, Catholics betray less than non-religious people, while Protestants betray more than Catholics and are indistinguishable from the non-religious. We also explore the intergenerational transmission and the potential causality of these associations
