Video podcast as alternative education media of Borobudur temple campaign during pandemic COVID-19
COVID-19 pandemic changes all aspects of human life. Various adaptations need to be carried out by the community, and communication must be adaptive in making these adjustments. The use of Borobudur Temple, either in tourism or education, was also affected by this pandemic. The Borobudur Conservation Center, as one of the managers of Borobudur Temple, initiated a new way of publishing and educating the public. Through the YouTube video podcast BUSUR, the Borobudur Conservation Center tries to take advantage of the new publication model as an effort to keep educating the public about Borobudur Temple. This analysis aims to determine how the public responds to alternative media called BUSUR video podcast made by the Borobudur Conservation Center. Community response is measured based on the number of subscribers and views count on BUSUR video content uploaded. Based on the data obtained, data will describe it using a qualitative descriptive approach. The research includes collecting various data from relevant sources. Data collection was carried out through observation. Then select and analyze data. Then end by making conclusions from the results obtained. Based on this study, the results obtained shows that the BUSUR podcast's video content received an excellent public response. By the data, there is an addition of 2490 subscribers and 35,000 video podcast screenings throughout 2020. Based on this analysis, the BUSUR video podcast as an alternative media to introduce Borobudur Temple to the public is very successful because the theme of cultural heritage still gets quite a lot of attention from the crowd
Thermal Effects on the Nonlinear Forced Responses of Hinged-Clamped Beam with Multimodal interaction
Nonlinear analysis of a forced geometrically nonlinear Hinged-Clamped beam involving three modes interactions with internal resonance and submitted to thermal and mechanical loadings is investigated. Based on the extended Hamilton’s principle, the PDEs governing the thermoelastic vibration of planar motion is derived. Galerkin’s orthogonalization method is used to reduce the governing PDEs of motion into a set of nonlinear non-autonomous ordinary differential equations. The system is solved for the three modes involved by the use of the multiple scales method for amplitudes and phases. For steady states responses, the Newton-Raphson shooting technique is used to solve the three systems of six parametric nonlinear algebraic equations obtained. Results are presented in terms of influences of temperature variations on the response amplitudes of different substructures when each of the modes is excited. It is observed for all substructures and independent of the mode excited a shift within the frequency axis of the temperature influenced amplitude response curves on either side of the temperature free-response curve. Moreover, it is found that thermal loads diversely influence the interacting substructures. Depending on the directly excited mode, higher oscillation amplitudes are found in some substructures under negative temperature difference, while it is observed in others under positive temperature change and in some others for temperature free-response curves
An Adaptive Sliding Mode Control for Single Machine Infinite Bus System under Unknown Uncertainties
The inherent uncertainties in a Single Machine Infinite Bus System (SMIBS) are governed by unmodeled dynamics or large disturbances such as the system's faults. The existence of these uncertainties demands robust controllers to guarantee the system's asymptotic stability under such exacting conditions. In this work, we propose an Adaptive Sliding Mode Control (ASMC) design implemented on a fifth-order nonlinear SMIBS to handle those uncertainties without prior knowledge about its upper bounds. We develop the ASMC with gains of two nested adaptive layers to asymptotically stabilize the system's internal states, the machine's terminal voltage, and power angle within a region of unknown bounded uncertainties while mitigating the chattering phenomena associated with conventional Sliding Mode Control (SMC). To verify the design's effectiveness and prove the conducted Lyapunov theoretical stability analysis, we simulate the occurrence of a large disturbance represented by a 3-phase fault at the system's universal bus. The results show that the ASMC can successfully achieve asymptotic stable output errors and stabilizing the SMIBS internal states after the clearance of the fault. Moreover, the ASMC noticeably outperforms the SMC in chattering mitigation, where the ASMC's signal is significantly smoother than that of the SMC
Intelligent Observer-Based Controller Design for Nonlinear Type-1 Diabetes Model via Adaptive Neural Network Method
Diabetes is an increasing health problem all around the world, particularly Type 1 diabetes (T1D), people with T1D require precise glycemic control, due to a shortage of insulin production. This paper introduces a new adaptive neural observer-based controller for a class of nonlinear T1D systems. A solution is proposed to guarantees practical tracking of a desired glucose concentration by a new adaptive neural observer-based control strategy. One of the intelligence procedures is the network under online learning that the mentioned controller is learned by a back-propagation algorithm. This network is a significant class of feed-forward artificial neural networks that maps a set of inputs into a set of proper outputs. Guarantee stability of observer and controller by Lyapunov direct and training online are the merit of the method. Also, despite the presence of internal and external uncertainties, the multilayer perceptron neural observer-based controller is robust. The performance of the proposed method is hopeful based on the results
Indonesian government crisis communication facing coronavirus pandemic
Many Indonesian officials have joked about the coronavirus outbreak. The Indonesian government has come to a point, namely crisis communication. With qualitative descriptive research, with data sources from scientific journals, articles from experts and intellectuals related to coronavirus, mass media news, and other relevant information. Analysis using triangulation techniques. This paper aims to reveal the communication side of the government's crisis and see society's reality in responding to information conveyed by Indonesian government agencies. As a result, the communication crisis that occurred was preceded by weak government coordination in dealing with the outbreak. Then the result is policymaking that is not correctly aligned and integrated. The government's various information to the public is also different and changing, confusing the community. On the other hand, people through social media convey a lot of information that has not been verified. So that it adds to the complexity of the problem of handling the coronavirus outbreak. In conclusion, informing and providing guidance for the community to deal with pandemics is the key to successful communication during a crisis

The thyroid gland plays a very important role in hormonal regulation in the human body. If the thyroid gland has a disorder, it can affect the performance of body functions. The development of artificial intelligence technology today allows an expert such as a doctor to be helped by his work. One of the important roles of artificial intelligence is helping doctors, among others, to diagnose a patient to determine appropriate post-diagnosis care. Transforming folklore into stage performance: the role of oral literature as local resources for traditional performing arts in Indonesia
The transformation of folklore as oral literature is often used for traditional performances. Its function is to strengthen the resilience of a local culture. This research aims to gain better knowledge about the transition process of traditional theatre performances to increase the awareness of the local community. The method used in this research uses a qualitative approach with an explanatory analytical approach and focuses on a multidisciplinary approach that comes from the theory of several branches of science. The results obtained from this study, namely the oral literature of the archipelago, have an important role in historical knowledge. The use of oral literature in stage performances makes a simple story more complex, one of which is manifested in the performing arts of the Dolalak dance. The conclusion that can be drawn is that the transformation of folklore as oral literature into stage performances provides a spiritual experience for the community because it is packaged interestingly through the dance movements. This article will contribute to the use of oral literature as a source of stories in traditional performances so that the results can be used to nurture and maintain the resilience of a local cultur
COVID-19 and human rights: a new inseparable relationship
The COVID-19 pandemic is arguably the most severe pandemic of the last century and has completely transformed how people go about their lives. With a high infection rate and no known cure yet, different countries have had to adopt extraordinary measures to curtail the spread of the virus. In particular, multiple countries have imposed lockdowns. The lockdowns have inadvertently interfered with human rights previously enjoyed by people, such as freedom of movement and the right to food, water and sanitation.We conducted an exploratory, non-systemic review of peer-reviewed journal articles, published between 2015 and 2020. The explored databases included: Ebscohost, Google Scholar, Wiley, JAMA, Elsevier, Oxford, CDC and Medline/PubMed.Our review of the literature highlighted the importance of states adopting a human-rights-centric approach in their responses to the Covid-19 pandemic. Three main thematic dimensions of various nations’ responses to the Covid-19 were constructed to represent this review. The three are human rights, gender inequality and social stigma.Some of the reactions to the Covid-19 pandemic have brought about the infringement of human rights. While some of the measures are justified, there is a need to ensure that human rights are protected to prevent states of the world abusing executive orders and emergency powers. This need set aside, crises, such as the COVID-19 pandemic, usually affect men and women differently. Such crises may even exacerbate the existing gender inequalities in society. Therefore, this calls for governments to devise measures to protect vulnerable populations such as women and children during the pandemic.Â
Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) to determine the character of wayang kulit
Indonesia is a country with diverse cultures. One of which is Wayang Kulit, which has been recognized by UNESCO. Wayang kulit has a variety of names and personalities, however most younger generations are not familiar with the characters of these shadow puppets. With today's rapid technological advancements, people could use this technology to detect objects using cameras. Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) is one method that can be used. CNN is a learning process that is included in the Deep Learning section and is used to find the best representation. The CNN is commonly used for object detection, would be used to classify good and bad characters. The data used consists of 100 black and white puppet images that were downloaded one at a time. The data was obtained through a training process that uses the CNN method and Google Colab to help speed up the training process. After that, a new model is created to test the puppet images. The result obtained a 92 percent accuracy rate, means that CNN can differentiate the Wayang Kulit characte
Factors influencing Gen-Z customer perception online shopping in Indonesia
This study aims to examine the relationship between benefits, ease of use, self-efficacy, safety, trust, and perceived usefulness on customer perceptions. The data in this study were collected through a survey. The samples in the study were consumers who made online purchases on Shoppee, Tokopedia, and Bukalapak, which amounted to 327 respondents. This study employed simple linear regression as a statistical and hypothetical test tool with the help of SPSS version 24. The conclusion of this study is that all hypotheses have a positive and significant effect on consumer perceptions and provide new findings that perceived usefulness is a variable that affects customer perceptions
