    Get PDF
The Accounting Standards of School Corporations has been pointed out to be complicated for a long time. Therefore, many people couldn’t understand its contents. But recently school corporations have been required to publicly disclose their financial status. The Accounting Standards of School Corporations have had to adapt their own rules according to the prevailing social needs. But it is not easy to revise the rules as they have to endow the Japanese government system. Thus, in this paper I make a proposal for the implementation of changes which would not be too drastic so as to confuse the current accounting practice. without. In summary, my proposal is to divide the fund for acquisition of fixed properties into three types: initial funds, donations from donors and funds from student tuition. Initial funds and donations from donors should be recorded as fundamental net assets, and only properties from Initial funds should be depreciated.departmental bulletin pape

Aroma is an important factor in determining the quality of food. Food hygiene knowledge and skills are essential for nutritionists. In other words, being able to distinguish odors is considered to be a necessary skill for nutritionists. From 2021, all food business operators will be required to comply with HACCP or hygiene management based on HACCP. Therefore, more practical food hygiene education is needed in nutritionist training courses. We measured students' odor discrimination ability as basic data for building an educational program on food hygiene. In the experiment,“ Open Essence” was used to sniff out 12 different odors. Consideration of Practical Programs in Sports Management Education ~Through the Activities of the Gamba Project~

    Get PDF
Human resource development in the sports business industry is considered important in Japan, and the government is also promoting human resource development. In this context, Osaka International University is actively collaborating with Gamba Osaka, a member of the J-League, to create various programs for its students. The Gamba Project in 2023 included stadium tours, game visits, vocational lectures by staff members, and event planning and management. All of the projects received high evaluations from the participating students for the unique experiences they were able to have. On the other hand, it became clear that the time available to work on the project was limited because it was outside the curriculum, and that the participation rate did not increase. In order to further improve students' abilities, we believe that it is necessary to develop a curriculum for the project and program content that is linked to each university grade level.departmental bulletin pape

Effective collaboration between psychologists and social workers from the perspective of assessment -From interviews with school counselors and school social workers-

    Get PDF
The main purpose of this paper is to reveal the differences in approaches between psychologists (school counselors: SCs) and social workers (school social workers: SSWs). Interviews show that SSWs pay attention to the environment first, and then the individual’s experiences. In contrast, SCs are more likely to conduct assessments from the perspective of the environment for the individual, and then confirm the relationship with the environment that has led to the current situation. This survey indicated that psychologists play a role in therapeutic involvement in the mind such as mental care, whereas social workers focus on adjusting negative influences of the environment. Based on an understanding of the differences between those specialties, the following division of roles is useful. The SCs are responsible for cases where individual psychotherapeutic involvement makes sense, while the SSWs are responsible for cases that first require environmental intervention.departmental bulletin pape

Study on Young People's Willingness to Buy Japanese Sweets ― Product development and Promotion strategy Focusing on the Functionality of Bean Paste ―

    Get PDF
The bean paste industry is central to Japanese confectionery culture in Japan since ancient times. However, the consumption of this Japanese confectionery has been declining year by year due to the westernization of food in Japan. In addition, due to the impact of the Coronavirus, which hit the tourism industry and caused the reduction of events, the demand for Japanese sweets that use a lot of bean paste has decreased. Furthermore, the amount spent per household on Japanese confectionaries is also on a downward trend, and the younger generation is moving away from Japanese sweets. In order to maintain the culture of Japanese sweets, it is important to develop products that appeal to young people, and to convey knowledge about Japanese sweets so as reverse this trend. In addition to the three major nutrients, red beans are rich in dietary fiber, polyphenols, and minerals, making them a very healthy food. However, red bean products have the image of being a "sugary snack". For this reason, it is necessary to first raise awareness of the functional aspects of bean paste, and to develop products and marketing with ideas that are not bound by the framework of the conventional image of "Japanese sweets". This study focused on the functionality of bean paste(nutritional components of red beans)and examined the development of "functional Japanese sweets". Specifically, the author proposes a marketing strategy that integrates evidence development, story construction, and promotion development. Since the implementation of this strategy requires the cooperation of universities and external organizations, it will be conducted as a joint research project.departmental bulletin pape

    Get PDF
This paper offers an overview of job hunting in Japan for international students. In Japan, with its declining birthrate and aging population, international students are expected to contribute significantly as a valuable workforce. However, despite nearly 60% of international students aspiring to work in Japan, they face numerous challenges, resulting in an actual employment rate of around 40%. To address this gap, the author will analyze the international student employment and recruitment situation, incorporating their university-based employment support perspectives into the survey. This paper will also identify the issues that international students encounter in the job-hunting process and recommend measures to overcome these challenges, aiming to enhance employment opportunities for international students in Japan.departmental bulletin pape

Self-Governing Administration in the Federal Republic of Austria - The Municipalities (Gemeinden) and The Legal Representatives of Occupational Interests (Kammern) - (4)

    Get PDF
The Austrian Constitution, Bundes-Verfassungsgesetz(B-VG), classifies the self-governing administration in Austria into Gemeinden - the territorial self-governing administration (cities, towns and villages) and Kammern - the personal self-governing administration (the legal representatives ofoccupational interests, social insurance, etc.). The fundamental characteristics of the self-governing administration system are autonomy, the juridical person, the internal democracy of organization, and the control of the Bund (federal government) and Land (the stategovernment). The Selbstverwaltungskörper (the self-governing body) executes all or part of the public administration of the federal and state governments. For this reason, the autonomy of the self-governing administration is in contradiction to the parliamentary democracy and the public administration hierarchy. This paper examines the relationship between ʻthe democracy of the selfgoverning administration’ and ‘the parliamentary democracy of the federal andthe state administrations’. Currently in Austria, the cooperative federalism of all three levels; the Bund(the federation), the Länder (the states) and the Gemeinden (municipalities) is under debate. In this paper, the position, competence, and organization of the municipality is considered.departmental bulletin pape

The term "outdoor recreation" is used to describe activities that allow people to enjoy a variety of experiences in a natural environment without limiting their activities, and to feel and enjoy nature in their daily lives. It was also found that the term "outdoor recreation" is a term that is commonly used today and can be understood without any sense of discomfort. Regarding the diversity of outdoor recreation and its value today, examples of cooperation with related organizations and the participation of private companies in the policies of ministries and agencies are noted, suggesting that outdoor recreation has the potential to solve social problems and that it has attracted much attention and expectation in society. In addition, it is suggested that there is a necessity for cooperation and collaboration among many organizations and it is important to create new added value in order for outdoor recreation to further develop in the current social context.departmental bulletin pape
