「視線革命」としてのロリータ・ファッションへむけて
Get PDFP(論文)Many clothing styles of young Japanese women are driven by a desire to make themselves "look cute". However, girls dressed in the Lolita fashion, which is characterized by feverishly pursuing dollish or princess-like girly "cuteness" (kawaii), seldom show any interest in being looked at as "me in a cute dress."
These are gestures to block other people’s eyes. And at the same time, they do not hide their great pleasure in seeing "lovely dressed girls" rather than being seen as lovely girls. For them, wearing Lolita fashion seems to have become a means not to "see" lovely things, but to "be seen as lovely".
Japanese culture is often classified as a "shame culture," in which an aspect of "see or to be seen as" something is accompanied by cultural and political asymmetry between men and women or an aspect of being too much concerned about people’s eyes, as if suffering from scoptophobia. In these girls’ unique fashion, we might be able to find a possibility of transformational subversion against such conservative attitudes. Using interviews, we would like to examine this phenomenon from the viewpoint of media theory.departmental bulletin pape
SNSに対する利用者意識の分析
Get PDFP(論文)Social Networking Services （SNS） have become widely used in Japan in recent years with FaceBook, mixi and Twitter being the most popular. These are used in various fields of life together with convenient devices such as smart-phones.
A questionnaire investigation was used to clarify the current usage situation, issues, desired functions etc. Information for marketing purposes was then extracted. Fundamental statistical analysis, Multi Corresponding Analysis, Quantitative Analysis, and Key Graph Analysis were then performed.
Reviewing past research, there are some related papers, but they do not include new tools which are evolving rapidly. Moreover there has been little research conducted on this precise topic.

Get PDFP(論文)In order to find out how an eco-tour in a primeval forest affects the stress, perceived physical condition and feeling of the participants, the authors organized a tour to Suigenchinomori, a primeval forest in Kawakami Village, Nara Prefecture. Results indicate changes in the participants’ stress, perceived physical condition and feeling during the tour. These three variables were measured at three points on the route.
The stress of the participants decreased on average during the tour from the first to the second point, whereas from the second to the third point it increased. At the individual level the stress of two participants increased and that of the other four decreased. From the second to the third point it increased on average. At the individual level it increased with two participants and decreased with three participants, staying the same for one case.
The authors plan to improve the research design based on these result, and continue the same kind of tours in order to collect more data, performing not only statistical tests to determine any general effects but also qualitative examinations on individual differences.departmental bulletin pape

Get PDFP(論文)The effects of dietary zinc deprivation on zinc concentration, the activity of angiotensin converting enzyme (ACE) and the ratio of apo/holo-activity of ACE (ACE ratio) in the serum of rats were examined.
The rats were fed either a zinc-deficient diet or a control diet for up to 3, 7, 14 or 21 days. Zinc concentration in the serum was measured by atomic absorption spectrophotometry. Also, the activity of ACE in the serum was measured using ACE assay kits.
There was a significant decrease in zinc concentration and of the activity of holo-ACE in the serum of rats fed a zinc-deficient diet. The ACE ratio was significantly increased in the rats deprived of dietary zinc.
These results suggested that the ACE ratio is as sensitive as the serum zinc concentration in the evaluation of zinc deficiency and can be used for the biochemical diagnosis of zinc nutritional status.departmental bulletin pape

This research examines the changes in the course contents and analyzes them from a historical perspective, finding that they have become broader in nature.

Get PDFP(論文)This paper considers the growth of children through picture books from the perspective of educational anthropology in order to construct a theory of human development. Most previous studies have applied picture books to existing disciplines, but this paper attempts to explain the power of human development in picture books without dwelling on preschool education. Therefore I examine picture books with human development theory in the light of educational anthropology. Picture books are not evaluated from an education viewpoint but in order to construct a human development theory from a picture book. From this standpoint, I deal with adult-child relationship using the phrase “recall of encounters with others.” This examination shows that we must delineate a boundary between adults and children in picture books.departmental bulletin pape
