Secretarial Education Nurturing Knowledge Worker: A nationwide survey
Get PDFWith changing times, the concept of knowledge also changes. Thus, the emergence of the information society has caused big changes in business. So, it is expected that the needs of secretaries are changing too. Therefore, we conducted a nationwide survey targeting secretaries in Japan to find out the changes in these needs. Our survey focused on how the needs of secretaries in business organizations have changed.
We analyzed the responses in the following two areas: 1) the changes of needs of secretaries, 2) new abilities and tasks of secretaries in recent years. Specifically, the authors take the example of an academic research project on a target society in the Globally Important Agricultural Heritage Systems （GIAHS） area of Miyazaki Prefecture, which they are involved in, and confirm the process through which local resources were embodied in the project among local residents, government officials, and researchers. Get PDFThe purpose of this paper is to consider the significance of the collaboration between nursery teacher training schools and attached kindergartens, nursery teacher training, the quality of early childhood care, and the child rearing ability in the local community. To achieve this purpose, the researchers make a philosophical analysis of field experience in attached kindergartens, and undertake historical research on the collaboration between nursery teacher training schools and their attached kindergartens.
As a result of this review, the following was evident. First, field experience in attached kindergartens brings a temporality to students. Heidegger pointed out that a temporality is actual time. Optimized Load for Velocity-based Training to Develop the Jumping Performance of Female College Handball Players
Get PDFThe purpose of this study was to investigate the optimal load of Velocity-Based Training from the relationship between jumping performance and the load-velocity profile for collegiate women handball players. The mean concentric velocity of squats was measured using four increasing loads and the loadvelocity profiling were analyzed. The load and the load of body-weight ratio for each velocity (0.40-1.05m/s) were calculated using the load-velocity profile. The correlation between all of the data and Counter Movement Jump were analyzed. Correlation analysis provided quantification of the relationships between the load and the velocity of 0.60-1.05m/s. (p<0.01) The strongest correlation between them were at 1.00m/s (p<0.01). Correlation analysis also provided quantification of the relationships between the load of body-weight ratio and the velocity. (p<0.01) The strongest correlation between them was at 1.00m/s (p<0.01). This suggests that the optimal velocity of VBT to develop jumping performance is 0.85-1.00m/s.departmental bulletin pape

A Review of Intervention for Career Beliefs
Get PDFStudies on cognitive variables in career support have primarily been conducted to examine their effectiveness. This study focuses on career beliefs, in particular, as a cognitive variable. Career beliefs refer to the assumptions and generalizations that individuals have regarding the self and the world of work; these assumptions affect one’s career decision-making and subsequent career development. The Career Beliefs Inventory is an assessment tool designed to explore career beliefs. In this study, understanding of problems concerning intervention for career beliefs are examined by reviewing past research. All the selected studies were intervention studies that used pretest and posttest control groups. The results of the review showed problems and considerations of method, measurement, and the effectiveness of interventions for career beliefs. In addition, this study proposes an approach for considering further research regarding career beliefs in light of its theoretical and scientific potential value.departmental bulletin pape
