An Examination of Irrational Career Belief Constructs by Classifying Items on a Scale
Get PDFCareer beliefs are assumptions and generalizations that people develop about themselves and the professional world, which may impede career decisionmaking and career development. In this study, irrational career belief constructs were examined by classifying items on a scale and examining the irrationalities of the constructs in accordance with the theory of Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT). Eleven categories were extracted from the six scales/inventories, which comprised 176 items that were chosen for the examination. The relationships between these categories and REBT’s classification of irrational beliefs such as demands, awfulizing, discomfort intolerance, and depreciation were examined from the perspective of irrationalities. Management Practices for Achieving SDGs of Japanese Companies for Business Growth Opportunities: Long-term Vision Design and Market Acquisition
Get PDFSDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) consist of 17 goals, 169 targets and 232 indicators as objectives the international community should achieve by 2030 for sustainable development. Although not legally binding, governments, including Japan, have pledged to try to achieve the SDGs. The SDGs are considered as a universal common language for social issue resolution efforts up to 2030, as their scope is so broad that they apply to all countries and regions. Although companies are not required to deal with SDGs, SDGs cannot be ignored if future corporate activities are considered, including the global value chain.
Companies are actively working on SDGs, but some companies have identified SDGs as part of their CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility). On the other hand, companies that saw SDGs as business opportunities are attracting attention, and a virtuous circle that leads to an improved image as a good company that considers the environment and society has begun to emerge.
Efforts on SDGs are required over the long term to the 2030 target year. It is expected that sustainable corporate competitiveness will be improved by incorporating SDGs into the main business while reviewing business activities and market issues from the perspective of SDGs without making it a transient approach. Such expectations rest on the shoulders of management, and we need to work towards the formation of companies that are trusted by society.departmental bulletin pape

It might seem odd to use sports to arrest this trend, but I use the example of Sano City, in Tochigi Prefecture which has established itself as the home of cricket in Japan.
Upon going to the field and interviewing the people responsible, I found the situation charming because of the cricket competition, and sensed that people found it even more charming because of globalization and the fact that it is a new sport.

President Lincoln can be interpreted as mimicry, as theorized by Homi K.Bhabha. Meanwhile, the game which causes a fratricide in the ending proposes the deception strategy as a problem among the African American community.
An African American Booth’s murder to prevent his elderly brother Lincoln from deceiving him out of the bet of his inheritance dramatizes a paradox in an African American family: His affection toward his mother leads to his brother’s

Current Issues in Educational Counseling: Through Descriptive Surveys for in-Service Teachers
Get PDFThis study analyzes the awareness of problems in educational counseling based on a description survey conducted in the training for in-service teachers. It aims to clarify the current state and issues of educational counseling in schools. For the analysis, text data mining KH Coder can be used to create a co-occurrence network and visualize the relationship between words and their relationships. It was found that words that have a strong relationship with other words and are considered important are: relationship, student, collaboration, work, living, trust, do, and aim.

The Reception of Carl Schmitt in the Japanese Constitutional Theory（１） ― Satoru Kuroda and Yoshio Onishi ―
Get PDFThis article intends to analyze how Satoru Kuroda, a distinguished constitutional scholar, interpreted Carl Schmitt’s constitutional theory （Verfassungslehre） and adopted it to the diagnosis of the Meiji Constitution and Japanese Constitution.
Especially in Carl Schmitt’s constitutional theory, we pay attention to Carl Schmit’s superlegal constituent power and constitutional emergency power.
From the late 1930’s, he began to lecture constitutional theory at Kyoto Imperial University. He at first attempted to limit the enormous and unlimited legal power of Emperor. But in the process of wartime system and total mobilization, which was seen in the National Mobilization Act（1938）and the movement of Great Politics Party（1940）, he regarded Japan’s critical condition as the normalization of exception and legitimatized the interference in the liberty and rights of subjects. Moreover he criticized the liberal and constitutional thought as old-fashioned ideology and attempted to absorb the rights of subjects into the integration of state.
But after the world warⅡ, he accepted and legitimatized the radical transformation from imperial sovereignty to the sovereignty of people by appealing to the theory of Schmitts constituent power.
He emphasized the legitimacy of constituent power and insisted that constituent power itself is not factual will, but is restrained by the legitimacy or the concrete order.departmental bulletin pape
A Consideration on Rights Offering
Get PDFRights offerings are the same as shareholder allocations in terms of capital increase for existing shareholders, but differ in that the stock acquisition rights are listed and traded on the stock exchange. In this paper, we conducted an empirical analysis of companies that implemented rights offerings and how the stock prices of the companies and the market price of the stock acquisition rights changed after the listing of the stock acquisition rights. As a result, it was found that the stock acquisition rights remained the same regardless of the theoretical price and were subject to money games. As the number of companies that implement rights offerings increases, it seems that it will not be a money gamecentric buying and selling like the current situation, and it can be expected to become one of the leading methods of corporate funding.departmental bulletin pape
