The Effect of Dietary Supplement Intake on Physical Characteristics of College Football Players
3825,3814,3826The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of ingestion of the dietary supplements Rikinin and protein on the physical characteristics of university athletes. The subjects belonged to the Osaka International University Men's Soccer Club. The 35 subjects who obtained consent were randomly assigned to 3 groups (protein and Rikinin group; PR group, protein group; P group, Rikinin group; R group below), and measured before and after ingestion. There were 8 PR groups, 12 P groups, and 9 R groups. The right and left arm muscle mass was significantly higher only in the PR groups( p<0.05).
In the right leg muscle mass, the PR groups and the P groups had significantly higher values, and in the left leg muscle mass, the PR groups and the P groups had significantly higher values. Only the R groups showed a significantly high value in the arrival time of the Wingate test peak. This suggests that the γ-oryzanol contained in Rikinin affected anaerobic endurance, and also that further detailed study is necessary.departmental bulletin pape
Development of Transfer Pricing Research
The purpose of this paper is to clarify how transfer prices were incorporated into management accounting. In order to achieve this, the traditional wisdom of R. W. Scapens (1985) was used. That is, considering how transfer prices are explained in management accounting texts. From this, we examined if there was a certain agreement among researchers. As a result, it is clearly indicated that the transfer price was taken from the viewpoint of performance evaluation in the responsibility center. In addition, based on this result, this paper also focused on research by David Solomons, because his research made performance evaluation in the division system a problem. Examination of this research shows that his work was the culmination of transfer pricing research in the 1960s.departmental bulletin pape
Activity and Nutrition of University Students in Marine and Outdoor Sports Training ―Importance of food education and health education ―
In order to implement outdoor activities safely, it is necessary to consider the management of the physical condition of the participants as well as the program content and safety management, and the balance of the three elements of exercise, nutrition and rest is important.
As a result of examining the validity of the amount of meals paid for the amount of activity in the marine/outdoor sports training practiced by the department of this university, the volume of the meals was commensurate with the amount of activity as long as male students did not replace the staple food.
It was suggested that energy cannot be taken away. As for changing the staple food, the amount is about 400-600g of rice, so the need for supplementary foods was shown to students with excessively light meals. The amount of vitamins B1, B2, B6, C, calcium, and vegetables was also found to be insufficient.
These deficiencies in micronutrients are important in terms of physical condition management, and it is suggested that guidance and/or education is necessary to allow practicum participants to understand the role of these nutrients and not leave food due to likes and dislikes. Since it takes time to change eating behavior, it was found desirable to provide participants with information on food intake from the time when the training schedule was decided.departmental bulletin pape
Field Experience by Collaboration between Nursery Teacher Training Schools and attached Kindergartens - Focusing on the significance and the change of position -
The purpose of this paper is to consider the significance of field experience for students to be nursery teacher and the change of positioning of this experience in teacher-training courses. To achieve this purpose, the researcher reviewed the reports of the Japanese Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology,(MEXT).
As a result of this review, the following was evident. Until the 1980s, the MEXT reports indicated inadequacies in teaching practice, and had no description of the field experience. In the 1990s, these reports began to describe the field experience. Recently, these reports argue the difference between teaching practice and field experience, because field experience is substituted for teaching practice in new teacher training courses.departmental bulletin pape
Statistical Analysis of Japanese Employment
In recent years, the unemployment rate in Japan has been declining. We are interested in how the decline in the unemployment rate has affected the economy. There have been many economic reports about Okun’s Law and Phillips Curve in the past. We analyze the relationship between the unemployment rate, GDP growth, and ratio of job openings to job applicants for all 47 prefectures in Japan. The decrease in birthrate and the increase in the aging population will lead to a labor shortage in Japan.
Thereby, the mismatch index is based on the relationships between the number of job seekers and the number of each occupation, which has been proposed as the ideal criteria by the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare. We analyze the mismatch index of 11 occupation categories for the last six years. According to the analysis, we found that the mismatch index of office work was the highest of all the occupations.departmental bulletin pape
Federalism in the Federal Republic of Austria ― The division of responsibilities between Bund and Länder ― (10)
A federal state consists of smaller individual states, nine in Austria, and responsibility for legislation, administration and jurisdiction are divided between the states and the federation.
This paper examines the Federalism in the Federal Republic of Austria, chiefly the division of functions between Bund, the federal state, and Lander, the individual states.
Firstly, we see the main provisions of the Austrian Constitution (Bundes-Verfassungsgesetz〔B-VG〕) related to these funct・ions, namely Articles 10-15, which show clearly the centralization of Austrian Federalism in comparison with that of Germany or Switzerland.
Secondly, we see the participation of Lander in the legislation or administration of Bund, and the co-operation of Bund with the legislation or administration of Lander.
Thirdly, we see examine the control and compulsory execution of Bund on Lander.
Lastly, we examine the relations between the constitution of Bund and that of Lander.departmental bulletin pape
Effects of Snorkeling on the Profile of Mood States (POMS) ―Regarding tourists visiting in Okinawa ―
The purpose of this study is to investigate the impact of snorkeling on the tourism industry in Okinawa Prefecture, focusing on the mood change of subjects who have visited Okinawa, and to contribute to the development of Okinawa tourism.
As a result, except for fatigue scores, all negative mood scores after snorkeling were significantly reduced. Fatigue scores increased significantly after snorkeling, which appears to be the result of the snorkeling activity itself, because it is a strenuous activity and is often accompanied by fatigue. Vigor scores increased slightly after snorkeling, but there was no significant difference observed. In addition, the TMD score decreased significantly after snorkeling, and this can be assumed to be because of a decrease in overall feelings of anxiety.
From the above results, it was possible to confirm a change of mood after engaging in the snorkeling, suggesting that a beneficial psychological effect can be obtained.departmental bulletin pape
Medicalization of Euthanasia in Canada
This paper illuminates Canada's federal law on medical assistance in dying enacted in 2016. First, I review the developments leading up to the legislation from the Supreme Court of Canada Rodriguez decision through the precedential act in the Province of Quebec to the court rulings on the case of Carter. Second, I focus on and explore the implications of the landmark step ventured by the new statute; it has reclassified aid in dying as ‘end-of-life medical care’ ―the same category as palliative sedation or withdrawing lifesustaining treatment. The sharp distinction between euthanasia and assisted suicide has also been replaced by the mere procedural difference between ‘clinician-administered’ deaths and ‘self-administered’ ones. The explicit medicalization of these practices is highly likely to constrain the availability of conscientious objection to them, because even though it is legally warranted, it now means rejecting medical services.departmental bulletin pape
