METACOGNITIVE STRATEGIES IN MEDIATING EFL ADULT LEARNERS’ SELF-REGULATED LANGUAGE LEARNING: A SYSTEMATIC REVIEW
Although many studies focus on enhancing resource assistance and the advancement of adult learners' knowledge and abilities, there is a paucity of studies on the theoretical views that define strategies for assisting adults in learning independently. To fill this gap, this study draws on previous research to elaborate on why metacognitive strategies are suitable for adults’ self-regulated learning (SRL), and how metacognitive strategies promote SRL. As this study employed a systematic review, a rigorous search scheme was implemented across multiple databases, resulting in the selection of relevant studies based on predetermined inclusion and exclusion criteria. The selected articles were assessed for quality, and data extraction was performed to identify key characteristics of the studies. The synthesis of the existing literature underscores the suitability of metacognitive strategies in EFL adult learners' self-regulated learning. The findings reveal that incorporating metacognitive strategies helps cultivate SRL in EFL adult learners, owing to their cognitive maturity, pre-existing knowledge, and life experiences. In addition, the metacognitive strategy helps EFL adult learners enhance their awareness of cognitive processes, regulate learning behaviours, and optimize language learning outcomes. Regarding the role, metacognitive strategy is one of the key components of SRL. Some practical recommendations are made to support teachers in facilitating adults’ self-regulated language learning

Clustering and Trend Analysis of Priority Commodities in the Archipelago Capital Region (IKN) using a Data Mining Approach
The policy of moving the capital from Jakarta to East Kalimantan planned by the President of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo has caused a lot of polemic among the public. There are quite a few positive and negative comments on social media regarding the policy of moving the capital. The process of moving the capital requires careful preparation. One thing that needs to be considered is food security in IKN. This research provides recommendations for the main food commodities in IKN by applying data mining. We collect food productivity data available on the official website for East Kalimantan province. These data are processed and grouped into two groups, namely horticulture and livestock products using the K-Means method. After grouping, we predict the increase in productivity of each group using the ARIMA method. This research produces output in the form of grouping commodities into horticulture and livestock products. Productivity results for each type of commodity are displayed from 2016 to 2020 based on data on the official East Kalimantan Province website. Based on this data, predictions are made using the ARIMA method to predict productivity results from 2021 to 2025. Commodities with total productivity are grouped into high-priority commodities. Grouping the amount of productivity is carried out using the clustering method by comparing the amount of productivity for each commodity and producing commodities that are low priority, middle priority, priority and top priority based on the highest to lowest productivity numbers. The cluster quality for grouping horticultural commodities is 99.1%, while the cluster quality for grouping livestock commodities is 87.5%.
Incest is sexual contact that occurs between families who are related by blood. Incest includes an act of sexual violence when there is no consent from the victim. This research aims to obtain an overview of the forms of cognitive distortion of incest perpetrators against the child. This research was carried out using a qualitative case study approach with in-depth interviews based on cognitive distortion theory. Participants in this research were the biological fathers of 3 victims. Data analysis was carried out using a theory-led approach or coding the interview results based on the theory of the forms of cognitive distortion of perpetrators of sexual violence. The data analysis process is assisted by the MaxQDA application. The results of this research indicate that cognitive distortions encourage perpetrators to commit acts of incestuous sexual violence against their biological children. In line with cognitive distortion theory, there are 5 forms of cognitive distortion found in participants, namely uncontrollable (the perpetrator's inability to control himself), nature of harm (sexual relations are considered harmless), children as sexual beings (children are interested in sexual relations), dangerous world (the perpetrator views adults as dangerous) and entitlement (parents' rights to children). The event that initiated incest was the perpetrator's wife's refusal to have sexual intercourse. Disharmony in the participant's family was also caused by family functions not running well, such as religious, economic, as well as educational and socialization functions. Therefore, this research has implications for the development of further research that can focus on family functions that cause incest

Gender Equality in Batak Toba Society in the Lights of the Theological Thoughts of Ivone Gebara
In the shadow of strong traditional customs, Batak Toba women are subjected to the authority of men, be it husbands or male relatives, and are confined to the role of Parhobas (servants) for every family event. Ivone Gebara's thoughts would provide inspiration to address the challenges of gender inequality through empowering women and inclusive human values in open dialogue, aiming for personal and social transformations that are inclusive, just, and sustainable, following the social-cultural context of Batak Toba in Indonesia. The focus of Ivone Gebara's theological thought aligns with the principles of Liberation Theology, emphasizing the importance of efforts to connect the Christian faith with the lives of communities affected by social and economic injustice, along with solidarity with the poor and oppressed. This research used a literature review method by examining recent articles on Ivone Gebara's thoughts. She critically observes the patriarchal structures in society and the Church, advocating for the need for critical reflection in inclusive and egalitarian interpretations of women's experiences to promote gender equality. Gebara's thoughts serve as a foundation to enrich public narratives and support education and feminist awareness for social change within the Batak Toba community. Contextualizing Gebara's ideas in Indonesia, particularly in the Batak Toba culture, can support movements and awareness regarding religious norms and encourage open discussions about women's roles in diverse societies
