    Get PDF
Inulin is a carbohydrate class contained in gembili tuber (Dioscorea esculenta (Lour.) Burkill) as a source of prebiotics to maintain immunity. Inulin can be used as a nanosilver bioreductor and increase the solubility of gembili's inulin. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of gembili's inulin nanosilver as an immunomodulator based on IgG levels of vaccine-induced Mice. Nanosilver at doses of 2 mg/KgBW, 4 mg/KgBW, 8 mg/KgBW, and 12 mg/KgBW was compared with synthetic immunostimulants to observe the type of immunomodulatory activity. This research was conducted in several stages, including the biosynthesis process, characterization, determination of nanosilver dose, animal conditioning, animal treatments, taking blood from retro-orbital sinuses, and ELISA reader. Blood serum obtained from the animals was analyzed for IgG levels using Mice IgG ELISA Kit and Spectrophotometer UV-VIS. The pH variation test was also conducted in this study which aims to determine the stability of the nanosilver solution at pH 8, 10, and 12. The results of the ELISA reader showed that the dose of 4 mg/KgBW. had the highest Optical Density value compared to other doses. Then, the comparison with synthetic immunostimulants produces p values of 0.13 0.05, which is not significantly different. Nanosilver inulin at 4 mg/KgBW. is the chosen dose as an immunomodulator with immunostimulant activity. The stability results showed that increasing pH changes do not affect the pH change of gembili's inulin nanosilver solution. It is because nanosilver's pH control and adjustment are still in the alkaline range

Negotiating Patriarchal Relationship: Representation of Subjectification in Doja Cat’s Woman (2021) Music Video

    Get PDF
This study aims to illustrate the subjectification of women's bodies as one of the notions of postfeminist sensibility. Subjectification involves depicting women in a patriarchal setting as empowered individuals with agency, highlighting their reservoirs of strength and spheres of influence, challenging the perception of complete powerlessness. The object of investigation in this study is the music video by Doja Cat entitled "WOMAN" (2021), with a primary focus on examining the dynamic interaction among female talents within the context of the surrounding characters and environment. The author employs textual and visual analysis with qualitative methods and Fiske's Television Culture. In terms of theory, the analysis of the objects was supported by drawing upon Rosalind Gill's postfeminist sensibility. The study's analysis reveals that female talents, initially characterized by power and agency, faces a threat in the presence of patriarchy. This compels them to leverage their bodies and traditional roles as tools for negotiation. This study finds out that subjectification also can be an effort for women to negotiate patriarchal relationships as the bodies were used as tools to assert control and authority over the opposite sex without engaging as an object instead as a subject. This also counters the typical male gaze that makes women look passive or disempowered

Simbolisasi bunga mawar dalam cerita pendek "Siapa Kirim Aku Bunga?" karya Eka Kurniawan: Analisis dekonstruksi

    Get PDF

English learning is no longer taught as a local content program at UPT SD Inpres 6/80 Latellang because the curriculum that originally applied KTSP was changed to the 2013 curriculum. English subjects were not removed from the 2013 curriculum but are also not required in every elementary school. This caused the children at UPT SD Inpres 6/80 Latellang to be unfamiliar with English. The method of implementing this English training uses a service learning method assisted by ATK media and speakers. The results show that most students feel interested in teaching English through songs. This is evidenced by the increased memory related to the material being taught and the student’s interest in learning English

Kelenteng Kong Fuk Nio dan Masjid Jami Muntok dalam Worldview Toleransi Kota Muntok

    Get PDF
The long history of ethnic and religious tolerance in Indonesia has always tended to tell a story about expressions of indifference, and even hidden persuasiveness, which scrutinizes the problems of large organizations such as religion and culture. By concentrating on two contiguous places of worship of two religious’ communities in Muntok City, West Bangka, this article strives to identification from a side that is rarely exposed. The observation, interviews, and the acquisition of literature data elucidate how the application of amalgamated components in the two places of worship is a product of tolerance practices negotiated in the past hence it is of utmost significance to refrain from disregarding this historical substance through the interpretation of anomalous forms or idealized occasionalism. Thus, through Rainer Forst's concept of "Toleration", this article attempts to provide research significance to comprehending the concept of tolerance by discussing the relationship between physical cultural relics and tolerance practices to gain the worldview of the cultural proprietors. In this discourse, the presence of a building that represents a form of tolerance in a region is not only seen from its physical appearance, but also by careful consideration of the intangible relationships that operate in the realm of history and societal change.
