Article written by the author focuses on explaining about Driyarka and Ki Hajar Dewantara’s ideas and taught about education in the family. Ki Hajar Dewantara, put forward the concept of the Three Centers of Education, which states that education occurs in the family, school and social community, with the family as the first and main educational environment. His famous principle, "Ing Ngarso Sung Tulodo, Ing Madyo Mangun Karso, Tut Wuri Handayani," describes the role of parents in various positions to educate children: providing example, and encouragement. According to Ki Hajar Dewantara, education in the family must also foster children's independence and responsibility, as well as giving them the freedom to explore their interests and talents. Meanwhile, Driyarkara emphasized that the family is the first place of a persons's presence as a human being, and the family is the first step in the process of his journey towards becoming a full human being. Overall, Driyarkara and Ki Hajar Dewantara's ideas about education in the family are related each other. Both agree that effective education starts from the family with an active and loving role of parents. While Driyarkara places more emphasis on holistic education and love, Ki Hajar Dewantara focuses on independence, freedom and the role of parents in supporting children from various educational positions. This writing uses a library research method sourced from both books and journals regarding the concept of family education according to Driyarkara and Ki Hadjar Dewantara. Through library sources, the author reads, adapts, summarizes and reports back ideas related to this article. Library study is also called text study. Using this method is very important because it is able to understand deeply and comprehensively the concept of family education according to Driyarkara and Ki Hajar Dewantara.

    No full text
Non-Suicidal Self-Injury (NSSI) is a maladaptive phenomenon that becomes a concern in Indonesia, especially in the prevalence of emerging adults. One of the predisposing factors for NSSI is exposure to Adverse Childhood Experience (ACE). Individuals in these two contexts are also found to have different worldviews. The aim of this study was to describe the dynamics of meaning-making in the context of emerging adults with a history of ACE and NSSI. This study uses a qualitative-phenomenological approach. Interviews were conducted with three participants aged 19-25 years, having 5-8 ACE (ACE questionnaire screening), doing NSSI (NSSI-AT screening), and live in Jabodetabek. Participants were selected by purposive sampling. Thematic analysis of the data was carried out according to the theory of meaning-making model, ACE, and NSSI. The results showed that distress by adversive experience triggered the meaning-making process. The role of the deliberate and cognitive process is more helpful in the dynamics of meaning-making. The meanings made, such as acceptance, re-appraisal, re-attribution, perceptions of growth, and changes in global meaning, were found to reduce distress and generate compassion. However, the meanings made can still be dynamically developed throughout the individual's life. In further research, exploration in the gender role, culture, and other humanistic aspects, such as forgiveness and support system in meaning-making can be carried out. Longitudinal or mixed-method methods can also be chosen to develop the results of this study

IMPLICATION OF THE USE OF REFERENCE USED BY K-POP FANS IN INSTAGRAM AND X

The K-pop industry has reached its peak. The influence of K-pop has been everywhere. Even in Korea itself, the K-pop industry has gained popularity among businessmen and youngsters who want to enter the K-pop industry. K-pop songs are also famous around the world. The fame of the song goes hand in hand with the fame of the singer. The singer, usually called an idol, has fandoms in other countries. The idols receive adoration from the fans by giving gifts, buying the album, and even defending the idols if they are “attacked” by another fandom. This kind of behaviour has resulted in the fans having a sort of behavioural disorder so-called celebrity worship syndrome. This study aims to reveal how the use of references by fans reveals their psychological state towards the idol. The data was taken from the comment session of the news about K-pop idols on Instagram and X. There were 100 data to be analysed. This research found that there are nine references used: pacar/ayank, sayang/love/cinta, oppa, suami/istri, king, prince/pangeran, my lord/ tuan, legend, and my life. Those references were analysed using the theory semantics to see the correlation between the choice of reference with the world the K-pop fans think they are in. The conclusion is that the fans see their idol as someone having an intimate relationship with them, and the fans also see the idols as someone they adore highly

THE IMPACT OF GREENWASHING IN THE COSMETIC INDUSTRY, PARTICULARLY FOCUSING ON A REAL-WORLD CASE (INNISFREE’S GREEN FOREST CAMPAIGN)

Innisfree's Green Forest campaign promotes ecological awareness, but its sustainability claims are contradicted by the use of plastic in its packaging. Therefore, this study aims to expose the greenwashing practices employed by Innisfree. This study examines the impact of Innisfree’s greenwashing on its brand image. This case study used an ecolinguistics framework by Fill Mühlhäusler (2001) to reveal how Innisfree’s environmental narratives were constructed and what strategies they used to attract their customers back. As per the Method section, the data were Instagram comments and their sales performance data. The analysis was conducted in 4 steps: (1) examining Innisfree’s Instagram posts that had been targeted by netizen criticism, (2) categorizing netizens’ comments into deception, loss of trust, and demand for transparency, (3) evaluating the alignment between Innisfree’s environmental messaging and consumer responses, and (4) assessing the impact of greenwashing on sales. This study highlights that the environmentally friendly language used in advertisements—often disguised as campaigns—serves a specific purpose within the ecolinguistics conception, which is to persuade people to follow the advertisement's intended message. The findings indicate that greenwashing negatively impacted Innisfree’s brand image, however, the use of influencers successfully mitigated the damage caused by the scandal

MODERNIST ELEMENTS, THEMES, AND REFLECTIONS IN THE SELECTED POEMS FROM A DRIFTING BOAT: AN ANTHOLOGY OF CHINESE ZEN POETRY

This paper is an attempt to examine the modernist poetic and aesthetic purviews of selected poems from the anthology “A Drifting Boat: An Anthology of Chinese Zen Poetry.” In the regimes created by the poems, we recognize a literariness racked by internal and external contradictions. Hence, the analysis of the transitions and shifts is to be correlated with a modest chronicling of the past to show how their very bearings on the literary schemata of the works result to the formation of their modernist axioms and dictums. The paper presents the image of literature in the pace of change affirming the idea that the repercussions brought by the wars and westernization are the forces that have completely devalued traditional Chinese society and its various conservative characteristics. Using the descriptive-analytical design, the poems disclosed modernist issues, themes and philosophies verging on individualism, experimentation (breaking the conventional practices in literature), sense of loss and exile and nostalgia, narrative authority as a reflection of the multiplicities of truth and diversification of realities, fragmentation and destruction effected by the arrival of the Western powers in their society, and the occurrence of the states of absurdism and existentialism brought by the rush of daily life

This study investigated the impact of natural dyes derived from three plant sources (Eupatorium odoratum, Ageratum conyzoides, and Pueraria phaseoloides) on the bandgap energies of cobalt oxide (CoO) thin films thin films were synthesized using a chemical bath deposition technique at 80-85°C and subsequently annealed at 100°C, 150°C and 200°C. The incorporation of these natural dyes significantly influenced the bandgap energies of the CoO films, with values ranging from 3.80 eV to 4.12 eV depending on the dye and annealing temperature with the as-grown films exhibiting bandgap energies ranging from 3.80 eV to 4.00 eV. Moderate heat treatment typically increased the bandgap of the films, but at higher temperatures, the behavior became more complex, with some dyes demonstrating a substantial reduction in bandgap. These findings demonstrate the potential of utilizing natural dyes to effectively tailor the electronic structure of CoO, offering a sustainable and eco-friendly approach to materials modification
