Analysis of occupational changes using employment status survey : review of analytical strategy
Get PDF本稿は，欧米の大規模ミクロデータを用いた職業構造の変化に関する実証研究の分析手法を整理し，日本を対象とした研究を行うための分析上の課題について考察することを目的としている。まず，代表的研究のなかで，職業の序列化に用いる指標，ならびに調査対象者の設定について，どのような方法が採用されているのかを検討している。次に，日本の「就業構造基本調査」の個票データを用いて，賃金を指標として職業を序列化する際に，労働時間による分析対象者の選定基準や，職業の収入レベルの算出方法によって，序列にどの程度の違いが生じるのかを明らかにしている。その結果，いずれの場合も，ランキングに大きな違いをもたらさないことが、確認される。ただし，作成したランキングを指標として職業変動の分析を行う前に，労働時間や属性の統制の有無によって，順位が大きく変化する職業があるかどうかを確認する必要がある。This paper aims to examine the analytical methods used in empirical research on occupational change in Western countries using large-scale microdata, and to discuss the analytical challenges when conducting similar research on occupational change of Japanese labor market.
First, it examines what sorts of indicators are used for rank-ordering occupations in previous studies, as well as whether or not part-timers should be included in the analysis.
It then conducts the analysis using Japanese individual data from " Basic Survey on Employment Structure (Shugo Kozo Kihon Chosa in Japanese)," to examine how occupational ranking differs according to different measures of income levels for each occupation, as well as different selection of target populations according to working hours.
The results reveal that, in terms of rank correlation, whether or not labor hours are controlled for, as well as individual attributes and employment types are controlled for, does not significantly alter the ranking in terms of the Spearman's rank correlation coefficient. However, it emphasizes the importance of a preliminary process to confirm whether there are occupations where the ranking undergoes substantial changes before using the generated ranking as an indicator for analyzing occupational changes.研究ノート(Note)departmental bulletin pape

Get PDF本最高裁決定により、現住建造物等放火罪のみで起訴された場合に、公訴事実に死亡結果の事実の記載がなかったとしても、放火により生じた死亡結果について量刑上考慮することができることが確認された。もっとも、罪数論の問題と死亡結果を量刑上考慮できるかという問題は、必ずしも論理必然の関係に立つものではない。また、被告人の防御、反証の機会を確保することに配慮し、争点化を図る必要がある。This Supreme Court decision clarified that even if a charge of arson of an inhabited building does not explicitly mention the fact of death in the indictment, the sentencing can take into account the fatal consequences resulting from the arson. However, the issue of whether the number of crime and the consideration of death consequences in sentencing are necessarily logically related is not absolute. Get PDF明朝末期の中国の知識人、徐光啓はキリスト教に傾倒し、改宗後に科挙試験に合格して朝廷に出仕した。彼は、万暦帝、泰昌帝、天啓帝、崇禎帝に相次いで仕え、これらの皇帝との交わりを通して政治に参与していった。本研究ではまず、徐光啓に関する先行研究を紹介する。次に、徐光啓と上述の4人の皇帝との交わりを明らかにし、この交わりを中心に、徐がどのように政治に参与していったかを考察する。さらにその政治的参与から、明朝末期のキリスト教の展開への徐光啓の貢献について検討を加える。Xu Guangqi, a Christian intellectual who lived in the late Ming Dynasty, passed the Imperial Examination after his conversion and served at the Imperial Court, successively serving the Emperors Wanli, Taichang, Tianqi, and Chongzhen. He not only associated with them but also participated in politics. Based on this history, the current report first introduces previous studies. Next, it reveals the relationship between Xu Guangqi and these four emperors of his time. Then, focusing on these associations, we consider how Xu Guangqi participated in politics. Furthermore, from his political participation, the contribution of Xu Guangqi to the development of Christianity in China at the end of the Ming Dynasty is examined.論文(Article)departmental bulletin pape

Get PDF本稿は、不特定多数の者に対して一般的に協力を求める行政指導(一般的行政指導)の機能とそのメカニズムを、法と経済学における「法の表出的機能」(expressive function of law)の理論を手掛かりに考察するものである。N人ゲームの数理モデルを用いた分析等を通じて、法的強制力や経済的インセンティブの裏付けを持たない一般的行政指導が、アクターの意思決定にどのように作用するのか、そして、いかなる条件の下で人々が行政指導に従うのかを解明する。This paper examines the function and mechanism of administrative guidance that requires an unspecified number of people to cooperation (general administrative guidance), based on the theory of "expressive function of law" in Law and Economics. Through the analysis using a mathematical model of an N-player game, we will elucidate how general administrative guidance, which is neither legally enforceable nor backed by economic incentives, influences actors' decision making and under what conditions people follow administrative guidance.論説(Article)departmental bulletin pape
