A care theory that resists both scorn and sanctification : reading Arendt's thought from the perspective of feminist care theory
Get PDF本論文は、ハンナ・アーレント(1906-75)のケア・教育・養育に関するテキストを、フェミニスト・ケア倫理の視点から解釈し、ケアの困難と重要性という主題について、ケアに対する「蔑視」と「神聖化」と峻別しながら論じたものである。また、この主題を扱う方法論として、アーレントの「範例」の重要性を示した。アーレント思想は、ケアの困難(世界疎外)とケアの重要性(新生)の両面を包括する、ケアの思想的基盤となることを明らかにした。This paper interprets Hannah Arendt's texts on care, education, and nurture from the perspective of the feminist care ethics, and discusses the theme of the difficulty and importance of care, distinguishing between "scorn" and "sanctification" toward care. I also showed the importance of Arendt's "example" as a methodology for dealing with this issue. I clarified that Arendt's thought is the philosophical foundation of care, encompassing both the difficulty of care (world alienation) and the importance of care (natality).doctoral thesi

Get PDF本論文は朝鮮学校に通わせる子どもの母親と、彼女たちの集まりである「オモニ会」を研究対象にしたものである。彼女たちは日本社会から朝鮮学校へ向けられる民族差別と、ジェンダー役割不平等による複合的な抑圧構造のなかで生きている。ここでは地理情報分析、参与観察、インタビューなどの方法を用いて調査を行い、その生きざまを「戦略的本質主義」、「母親的存在(othermothers)の生存戦略」、「意味付与のポリティクス」として考察する。This paper concerns the mothers who send their children to Korean schools in Japan and the Mother's Association 'Omonikai(ŏmŏnihoe)' formed to support the school. They are at the intersection of national discrimination in Japanese society toward Korean schools and discrimination due to gender role inequality. This paper uses GIS(Geographic Information System), participatory observation, and interviews. Their art of living is considered strategic essentialism, survival strategies of other mothers, and politics of sense-making.thesi
A comparative study of Chinese and Japanese aid to Africa in the field of higher education : an analysis of student narratives

First, can Chinese and Japanese higher education aid to Africa promote human resource development (HRD) in African countries? If so, how? Second, can these two East Asian countries expand their soft power in Africa through higher education aid? If so, how? To answer these questions, I investigate African students' perceptions of their social and academic lives in China and Japan and examine how the Chinese and Japanese cultures influence their lives and ways of thinking by conducting ninety-three in-depth interviews in China, Japan, Zambia, Kenya, and Tanzania.doctoral thesi
Multivariate data analysis methods using external label information
Get PDF本論文は，外部ラベル情報を用いた多変量データの分析法に関して，データの縮約という観点から次の3つの問題を取り扱った．1つ目は，二値ラベルが不均衡な場合の分類問題，2つ目は，二値ラベルに誤りが含まれる場合の分類問題，そして，順序ラベルを外部ラベル情報として持つデータに対する次元縮約問題である．本論文では，これらそれぞれの問題に対して，既存の手法を適用する際の問題を解決するための新たは手法を提案した．This paper treats three problems related to the analysis of multivariate data using external label information from the perspective of data reduction. The first problem is classification with imbalanced binary labels, the second is classification with erroneous binary labels, and the third is dimensionality reduction for data with ordinal labels as external information. Study on improvement of impact resistance properties and functionalization due to application of sub-micron materials into carbon fiber composites
Get PDF本研究では，炭素繊維強化プラスチック(CFRP)の層内に平面型スーパーキャパシタ(SC)を挿入して積層した構造化キャパシタの耐衝撃特性および機能付与を目的とした．研究の結果，SCの基材へのポリイミド粉末を添加により電気的特性を改善し，さらにCFRPの母材への微細ガラス繊維の添加により構造化キャパシタの落錘衝撃時のエネルギ吸収率の改善および落錘衝撃負荷による構造化キャパシタの静電容量の低下の抑制の両者に有効であることが示された．The object of this study was to improve the impact resistance properties and functionalization of structured capacitors, in which planar supercapacitor was inserted within layers of carbon fiber reinforced plastics. These results showed that the addition of polyimide powders into the matrix of SC was effective to improve the electircal properties. The addition of sub-micron glass fibers into the matrix of CFRP was also effective to improve the energy absorption ratio of the structured capacitor due to drop weight impact loading, and then prevent the decrease in capacitance of the structured capacitor due to drop weight impact loading.doctoral thesi
