Analytic formula for mode coefficients of a multimode circular horn with axial symmetry, high aperture efficiency, and low cross-polarization
Get PDF本論文では，交差偏波発生量の積分値を最小にするモードの合成比を解析的に求め，開口能率が最大になるTEモードの励振係数のもとで，TMモードによって交差偏波成分の低減を図ることを提案し，モードの合成比を表す解析的な式を導出している．計算例として，まず，通常のデュアルモード，トリプルモードの合成比が提案する式によって求められることを示している．そして，新たに，高能率条件によって求められるモードの合成比のもとで，交差偏波成分を最小化するTMモードの励振係数を示し，軸対称・高能率・低交差偏波特性が得られることを明らかにし，提案する方法の妥当性を検証している．This paper proposes an analytic formula for modal coefficients aimed at reducing cross-polarization components and optimizing the modal coefficients of TE modes to maximize aperture efficiency in a multimode circular horn. Through calculated examples, we first demonstrate that the proposed formula can effectively determine the modal coefficients for ordinary dual-mode and triple-mode horns, resulting in low cross-polarization components. Additionally, under high-efficiency conditions, we present the excitation coefficients of the TM modes that minimize cross-polarization components. This approach is shown to achieve axial symmetry, high aperture efficiency, and low cross-polarization characteristics.原著論文departmental bulletin pape
