Get PDF本稿では使用者団体の大阪の地方組織であった関西経営者協会を素材として，地方経営者協会の組織機構や財政，事業などの基本的事項について，その実態を明らかにした。限定された研究対象ではあるが，地方組織は人事労務に関係する情報提供や国や地方行の審議会に使用者委員を推薦するなど，地域において重要な役割を果たしていることが明らかとなった。The purpose of this paper is to clarify the basic matters such as the organizational structure, finances, and business activities of local employers' associations through a study of Kansai Employers' Association, which was a local organization of an employers' association in Osaka. Although the results are based on limited scope of research, it is revealed that local organizations play an important role in the region by providing information related to personnel and labor affairs and by recommending employer members to national and local councils.資料(Material)departmental bulletin pape
The slave revolt in Demerara and John Smith
No full text1823年8月17日(日)に英領ガイアナのデメララで始まった奴隷叛乱には約65のプランテーションで働く約12,000人の奴隷が参加したとされる。奴隷たちの主力は、日曜日ごとにべセル教会に集まり、ジョン・スミス牧師から説教を受けていた。叛乱の計画は、同年6月頃から主要なメンバーのなかで練られていた。そのリーダーのひとりがカミーナであった。計画では一種のゼネラルストライキを敢行すれば、奴隷は解放されると見込んでいたが、実際には武力衝突が起こった。マレー総督が戒厳令を発布し、奴隷叛乱は軍隊によって1週間ほどで鎮圧された。叛乱に参加した奴隷の多くがべセル教会に通っていたことから、ジョン・スミスが奴隷と共謀したとの疑いが生じ、彼に絞首刑が宣告された。It is said that about 12,000 slaves in some 65 plantations participated in the slave revolt that started in Demerara of British Guyana in August 17th, Sunday, 1823. The main force of slaves met in Bethell chapel every Sunday and were preached by the Rev. John Smith. The plan of revolt had been discussed among the main menbers since June, same year. One of the leaders was Quamina. It was anticipated that if slaves had carried out a sort of general strike, slaves had been emancipated. But the armed conflicts happened as a fact. The governor John Murray declared the martial law and the slave revolt was suppressed by the British military in about week. As many slaves that took part in the revolt, went to Bethell chapel, John Smith was suspious to be conspired with the rebel slaves.
