Why psychological well-being improves with value clarification
Get PDF近年，心理的健康を表す指標として心理的ウェルビーイングが注目されている。心理的ウェルビーイングを向上させる有効なアプローチとしてアクセプタンス＆コミットメント・セラピー(Acceptance & Commitment Therapy：ACT)のコアプロセスである価値の明確化がある。首藤・山本(2019)は心理的ウェルビーイングの増進において価値に沿った生活を維持することの重要性を示唆している。このことより，価値の明確化と心理的ウェルビーイングの関連にはコミットされた行為が媒介していることが示唆される。本研究では，大学生を対象に価値の明確化がウェルビーイング促進行動を媒介して心理的ウェルビーイングに及ぼす影響について検討するために質問紙調査を実施した。価値の明確化高低群を抽出し，高低群それぞれにおけるウェルビーイング促進行動得点と心理的ウェルビーイング得点の平均値を比較した。その結果，両得点において高低群の間に有意な差があった。さらに，価値の明確化から心理的ウェルビーイングへの正の影響をウェルビーイング促進行動が媒介しているか検証するため媒介分析を行ったところ，部分媒介していた。以上から心理的ウェルビーイングの向上には価値を明確化するだけでは不十分であり，コミットされた行為が必要であることが示唆された。研究論文departmental bulletin pape
Buddha's nirvana by Ichiyo Hanabusa (Museum of Fine Arts, Boston) : flower offering child and lamenting woman
Get PDF英一蝶(一六五二―一七二四)による「仏涅槃図」(ボストン美術館蔵)は、釈迦の涅槃入滅に際し、天女、仏僧、動物らが慟哭する姿を描く。先行研究では、「仏涅槃図」の右側に在俗の女性が描かれる点が指摘される。先行研究に加え、新たな視点として前方に供華する童女に注目した。現在の冬木家の提供による系図および過去帳から、在俗の女性と供華する童女を明確にし、「仏涅槃図」の制作に至る経緯を考察した。The "Buddha's Nirvana" (Museum of Fine Arts, Boston) by Ichiyo Hanabusa(1652-1724) depicts celestial maidens, Buddhist monks, and animals in lamentation upon the Buddha's entry into nirvana. Previous studies have pointed out that the painting depicts a woman on the right side of the "Buddha's Nirvana". In addition to the previous study, I focused on the child woman offering flowers in the foreground as a new perspective. Based on the genealogical records and past books provided by the Fuyuki family, we clarified the common women and the children who offer flowers, and discussed the circumstances that led to the creation of the "Buddha's Nirvana" painting.研究論文departmental bulletin pape

Proposal of estimation method for deep learning training time on Amazon EC2 GPU instances
Get PDF本研究では、ディープラーニングで使用される様々なAmazon EC2 GPUインスタンスの学習時間を推定する新しい手法を提案する。提案手法は、既存の手法よりも高速に学習を完了しつつ、インスタンス使用コストを削減することを目的とする。提案手法は、さまざまなインスタンスタイプでディープラーニングアプリケーションを実行し、得られたデータを用いて学習時間を推定する。学習時間の推定値、推定に要する時間、推定に要するコストの3つの指標を用いて、提案手法と既存手法を比較した。その結果、提案手法は既存手法と比較して,推定に要するコストを最大14%削減できることを示した。This study proposes a novel method to estimate learning times for different Amazon EC2 GPU instances used in deep learning. The proposed method aims to reduce instance usage costs while completing training faster than existing methods. The proposed method employs running deep learning experiments on various instance types and using the obtained data to estimate learning times. We compared the proposed method to existing methods with three metrics: estimation time, time required for estimation, and cost. The results showed that the proposed method reduced the cost of estimation by up to 14% compared to existing methods.原著論文departmental bulletin pape

Get PDF本研究は、小市民層や労働者が居住する地域におけるホメオパシー協会の活動記録の分析から、彼らがどのようにして自分たちの健康を守っていこうとしたのかを明らかにする。彼らはホメオパシー治療を行う医師の治療を望んでいたが、費用などの条件が整わず、無資格治療師である会員の治療を受けた。しかし、同時に、正統医学の医師の診療を併用することもあり、治療の専門家としての医師の能力を肯定していたのである。The purpose of this study is to examine how lower middle-class people and labor were treated disease in the community. For this aim I analyze the protocol of a homeopathic lay association in a district of poor artisan and labor. This result is as follows. The member of the association wanted to be treated by especially a homeopathic doctor, but they were unable to meet the conditions such as the cost, so they were usually treated by a homeopathic quack. However, at the same time, they sometimes in severe cases used the treatment by conventional doctors. Get PDF本稿は、多くの人々にとって「当たり前」とされる学校教育や国籍について、排除を経験した当事者の視点から批判的に検討した。具体的には、筆者ら二人が、どのような排除を経験し、その排除をいかに受け止め、そしてその排除の経験を通じてどのような「生き方」を模索したのかを論じた。あえて異なる経験を一つのエッセイにすることによって、排除されてきた人々が見る世界の共通点を模索することを試みた。This paper critically examines school education and nationality, which are taken for granted by many people, from the perspective of those who have experienced exclusion. Through sharing their experiences, the two authors discuss what kind of exclusion they experienced, how they perceived exclusion, and what kind of "way of life'" they sought.
