The significance of introducing the concept of spiritual pain in social work practice and research issues : a review of domestic and international literature
Get PDF本稿の目的は，国内外の文献研究にて，ソーシャルワーク実践にスピリチュアルペイン概念を導入することの意義を明らかにし，今後の研究課題を提示することである。研究の結果，スピリチュアルペイン概念は，（1）死と関わる4 つの支援との関連性，（2）多様な対象に開かれたソーシャルワーク実践との関連性が示され，国内外に共通する支援場面で焦点となる概念であることが明らかとなった。スピリチュアルペイン概念の導入は，当事者の自律性と自己決定を尊重する実践に直結し，ソーシャルワークの倫理的価値とも一致する点で意義がある。研究課題として，1）概念枠組みの有用性の検討，2）スピリチュアルペイン・アセスメントの実践導入，3）概念枠組みを通した自己決定過程の解明が提示された。The purpose of this paper is to clarify the significance of introducing the concept of spiritual pain into social work practice and to present research issues for the future. The results of the study showed that the spiritual pain concept is (1) related to the four types of support related to death and (2) related to social work practice that is open to a variety of subjects, and that the concept is a focal point in support situations common in Japan and abroad. The introduction of the concept of spiritual pain is significant in that it is directly related to practices that respect the autonomy and self-determination of the person concerned and is consistent with the ethical values of social work. The following research issues are presented: 1) examination of the usefulness of the conceptual framework, 2) introduction of the spiritual pain assessment into practice, and 3) clarification of the self-determination process through the conceptual framework.論文(Article)departmental bulletin pape
