    Calibration of discrete element method (DEM) parameters for lunar soil simulant by using measurement of the angle of repose

    月面ローバの車輪とレゴリスとの相互作用を明らかにする手法として,個別要素法(DEM)が注目されている.そのためには,レゴリスの力学的特性を模擬したシミュラントのDEM解析に必要な入力パラメータを決定する必要がある.そこで,本研究では,安息角を目的関数として,X線CTを用いたシミュラントの3次元観察の結果を元にした解析粒子モデルを作成するとともに,シミュラントのDEMパラメータをPlakett-Burman design,Steepest ascent method,Box-Behnken designの3つの実験計画法に基づき較正した.Plakett-Burman designではパラメータのスクリーニングを行い,安息角への寄与率は粒子の静止摩擦係数,動摩擦係数,表面エネルギーの3パラメータが高いことが明らかとなった.また,Steepest ascent methodおよびBox-Behnken designに基づき非線形二次予測モデルを作成した後,最適DEMパラメータを算出した.その結果,安息角を3.3%の誤差率で再現することができた.最後に,較正後のDEMパラメータを用いて構築した解析土壌モデルに対して外力を付与し,その反力応答により較正の妥当性を示した.The discrete element method (DEM) has attracted attention as a numerical technique for clarifying the interaction between the lunar rover wheels and the regolith. To predict wheel driving performance using the DEM method, it is essential to determine the input parameters required for simulation of simulant that is similar mechanical characteristics of lunar soil simulant with lunar soil. In this study, particle models for DEM analysis were developed based on three-dimensional observations of lunar soil simulant using X-ray CT. And, DEM parameters were calibrated using three experimental design methods: the Plackett-Burman design, the Steepest Ascent method, and the Box-Behnken design, with the angle of repose as the objective function. The Plackett-Burman design was employed for parameter screening, revealing that the static friction coefficient, dynamic friction coefficient, and surface energy contributed significantly to the angle of repose. Subsequently, a nonlinear quadratic predictive model was constructed based on the Steepest Ascent method and the Box-Behnken design to calculate the optimal DEM parameters. As a result, the angle of repose was reproduced with an error rate of 3.3%. Finally, external forces were applied to the calibrated DEM soil model, and the reaction forces were analyzed to verify the validity of the calibration.原著論文departmental bulletin pape

    本稿は日本語の主要部内在型関係節(IHRC)の成立過程を通時的構文文法により分析した。IHRCはコトを表す形を取りながらモノを指すという特徴をもち、補文構造と関係節の中間に位置するとされる。本稿は、上代の実証的な研究を踏まえ、また日本語学での知見や歴史コーパスのデータを元に、IHRCは「事態知覚構文」と「Spec+HL構文」という互いに深い関係を持ちながらも独立した2つの構文を起源とすると提案し、その成立過程を論じた。This paper analyzes the development of Japanese Internally Headed Relative Clauses (IHRCs) from the perspective of diachronic construction grammar. IHRCs are characterized by referring to entities (things) while taking the form typically used to express events (situations), and they are considered to occupy a structural position between complement clauses and relative clauses. Building on empirical research of Old Japanese, as well as insights from Japanese linguistics and data from historical corpora, this study proposes that IHRCs originated from two independent yet closely related constructions: the "event perception construction" and the "Spec+HL construction." The paper discusses the developmental pathway of IHRCs based on this hypothesis.論文(Article)departmental bulletin pape
