Studies on the ICT utilization of in schools for the deaf : characteristics and future direction
Get PDF現在のろう学校のICT活用の特徴と今後の方向性について考察した。CiNii Articlesで「聴覚障害 特別支援学校 ICT」で検索した結果は9件だった(2021年9月8日検索)。ろう学校においてのICTの活用についての学術論文はかなり少なかった。
そこで、他に、文部科学省や国立特別支援教育総合研究所、教育委員会等が発行している文献、ろう学校教員を主対象とした教育雑誌、インターネットのサイト等から得られたICTに関する文献・資料を調査し、合計31の文献・資料が得られた。
教員による教材の提示について書かれている文献・資料が29%で最も多かった。
「情報の視覚化」への活用が聴覚障がい教育において最も考えられるICTの活用方法だった。
近年のろう学校の状況は、「障がいの重複・多様化」、「少人数化」、「大学等への進学者の増加」などがある。ろう学校でのICT活用の今後の方向性は、障がいの重複・多様化に対応するためにも他の特別支援学校でのICT 活用の視点を持つ必要がある。さらに、小中高等学校での実践・研究を積極的に取り入れることが必要になる。
その際、1学級あたりの児童生徒数が少ないことから、へき地教育で行われているICT活用方法を大いに参考にすべきである。This study aims to consider the current characteristics and the future direction of the ICT utilization of schools for the deaf. Nine research papers were found by searching on CiNii Articles using the words "Deaf," "Special Needs Education School," and "ICT" (searched on September 8, 2021). There were only a few research papers on the utilization of ICT in schools for the deaf. I searched articles and materials related to ICT in schools for the deaf from literature published by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, the National Institute of Special Needs Education, the Board of Education, educational magazines mainly for teachers at schools for the deaf, and the internet sites. Thirty-one articles and materials were found, and 29% of them were written about the teachers' presentation of teaching materials, which was the most common. The most viable method of utilizing ICT in Deaf education was "visualization of information." The situation of schools for the deaf in recent years includes "multiple and diversification of disabilities," "decrease in the number of students," and "increase in the number of students going on to universities." As for the future direction of ICT utilization in schools for the deaf, it is necessary to have a perspective of ICT utilization in other special needs schools to deal with the multiple and diversification of disabilities. Furthermore, it is essential to actively incorporate practice and research in elementary, junior high, and high schools.
