Discussion of Xu Guangqi's apologetics in Bian xue zhang shu
Get PDF1616年、中国ではキリスト教弾圧事件(南京教案)が起こった。この事件に対して、すでに改宗していた明朝末期の中国知識人、徐光啓(1562-1633)は、皇帝への上奏書『辨学章疏』を書き、自分のキリスト教信仰を告白すると同時に、キリスト教を弁護した。本研究は『辨学章疏』を研究対象にし、その内容の解読と分析を通じて、この上奏書における徐光啓の護教論を考察しながら、明朝末期の中国人キリスト者によるキリスト教理解を明らかにする。本稿は最初に、南京教案と『辨学章疏』に関する様々な先行研究を紹介する。次に、南京教案の経緯を述べる。最後に、『辨学章疏』における徐光啓の護教論を、キリスト教の教義に基づく弁護、キリスト教の社会的役割に基づく弁護、および宣教師への弁護という3つの視点から論述する。In 1616, there was a suppression of Christians in China called the Nanking Persecution. In response to this incident, Xu Guangqi, a Chinese intellectual from the late Ming Dynasty who had already converted, submitted an article for the Bian Xue Zhang Shu volumes to the emperor, justifying his Catholic faith and defending Christianity at the same time. Considering this, this study focuses on the Bian Xue Zhang Shu, and through deciphering and analyzing its contents, examines Xu Guangqi's apologetics in this article, clarifying the understanding of Christianity by Chinese converts at the end of the Ming Dynasty. First, this study introduces the various previous research works on the Nanking Persecution and the Bian Xue Zhang Shu. Next, an introduction to the history of Nanking Persecution is presented. Finally, Xu Guangqi's apologetics in the Bian Xue Zhang Shu is clarified from three perspectives: a defense based on Christian doctrine, a defense based on Christianity's role in society, and a defense of missionaries.論文(Article)departmental bulletin pape

Estimating production function of railroad industry with accounting for simultaneity
Get PDF鉄道事業者は生産性水準に応じて投入物使用量を調整しており、生産関数を通常の最小二乗法(OLS)で推定すると、同時性の問題が発生する可能性がある。日本の鉄道事業者のパネルデータを用いた分析の結果、OLSを適用した場合と、同時性への対処が可能なAckerberg et al. (2015) の手法を適用した場合では、生産関数の係数推定値に無視できない差が生じた。これは、一部の事業者の投入物使用量の調整により同時性が発生し、OLS推定値にバイアスが生じたためであろう。Because railroad companies adjust input usage according to productivity, ordinary least squares (OLS) estimators of coefficients on production function may be biased due to simutanaity. We estimated production function using panel data from Japanese railroad companies and found that there are non-negligible differences in the coefficient estimates of production function between OLS estimates which cannot address simultaneity and Ackerberg et al. (2015) method estimates which can address simultaneity. This may be because some railroad companies adjust input usage and this causes biased OLS estimates.研究(Article)departmental bulletin pape
