Get PDF本稿の目的は，ニューカレドニアの日本人移民史を再考することである。とりわけ，19世紀フランスの流刑と日本人移民を連続した歴史的出来事として捉え，近代世界システムの形成に伴う余剰労働力の「放逐」のプロセスとして描写する。本稿では，19 世紀フランスにおける都市問題を取り上げ，流刑へと発展する過程を見ていく。同時に，フランスが太平洋に帝国領土を拡張する流れを辿り，ニューカレドニア流刑地が誕生するプロセスを明らかにする。この時，フランスの都市問題と帝国拡大の思惑が重なるのである。そして，ニューカレドニア流刑の理想と現実を確認し，日本人移民到着に至る歴史を示す。第一回移民の募集は，明治政府の後ろ盾のもと，九州の男性を対象に約一ヶ月という短期間で行われた。本研究はこれまで個別に扱われてきたニューカレドニア流刑と日本人移民の歴史を接合させ，一国史的に認識されてきたニューカレドニア史を描き直す試みである。特集 植民地主義の歴史と現在Special issue: Colonialism past and present論説(Article)departmental bulletin pape

Get PDF景気循環の内生的な振動を説明するのには、非線形動学を用いることが有用であるが、非線形景気循環理論においては、「時間」の概念を改めて検討する余地があると思われる。本論文では、「変数の速さ」、「周期の長さ」、「変化の激しさ」の3つの概念に着目する。これらの概念を導入して改めて非線形景気循環理論を考察することで、従来とは異なる経済学的知見が得られると期待できる。本論文の主張は、非線形景気循環理論の経済分析に対する有用性を改めて確認することと同時に、理論的に多くの発展・拡張の余地が残されていることを示すものである。Although the use of nonlinear dynamics is useful to explain endogenous oscillations in business cycles, there seems to be room to reexamine the concept of "time" in nonlinear business cycle theory. In this paper, we focus on the three concepts of "speed of variables," "length of period," and "intensity of change. By introducing these concepts and examining nonlinear business cycle theory anew, we expect to obtain macroeconomic theoretical findings that differ from those of the past. The assertion of this paper is to reaffirm the usefulness of nonlinear business cycle theory for economic analysis and at the same time to show that there remains much room for theoretical development and expansion.doctoral thesi
