Pioneering attempt at the training of professional attitude of social workers : from "general suggestions to visitors" in "A handy-book for visitors of the poor in London" (1874)
Get PDFソーシャルワーカーの専門的態度の重要性は指摘され続けている。ソーシャルワークの源流として慈善組織協会とセツルメント運動が挙げられるが，セツルメント運動は貧困者との人格的接触を重視して社会改良を目指したと評される一方，慈善組織協会は貧困者への道徳的教化を目的としていたと言及され，いずれにしても専門職的態度は要求されていなかったように整理されている。しかし慈善組織協会が訪問員向けに発行した『ロンドンの貧困者訪問員のためのハンディブック』（1874）では，訪問員に対して，相手を尊重することとそれを言葉や態度で示すことが奨励され，自己決定の尊重，傾聴，秘密保持，訪問員の感情を統制した対応といった現在のソーシャルワークの面接技法に通じる態度も推奨されていたことが明らかになった。The importance of the professional attitude of social workers continues to be pointed out. The Charity Organization Society and the Settlement Movement are cited as the sources of social work, while the Settlement Movement has been described as aiming for social reform by emphasizing personal contact with the poor, the Charity Organisation Society has been mentioned as being aimed at moral indoctrination of the poor. In any case, it seems that a professional attitude was not required. However, in "A Handy-book for Visitors of the Poor in London" (1874), it was recommended to respect the poor and show it in words and attitudes, as well as adopt the attitudes that are common to current interviewing skills in social work, such as respect for self-determination, active listening, confidentiality, and controlled emotional involvement.論文(Article)departmental bulletin pape
Work-life balance of highly educated women in China : an interview study with young working women and working mothers
Get PDF本稿の目的は，現代中国における高学歴女性の仕事や家庭生活に関する考え方，それらの選択肢を考察することである。具体的に，出産・育児経験の有無を中心に，高学歴女性を若年層女性と働く育児女性に分類して，半構造化インタビュー調査を行った。調査の結果，若者たちは，より熾烈な就職競争に直面していると同時に，不安定な雇用環境に置かれている。他方，育児女性たちは強く経済的自立が求められると共に，家庭内役割の大半を担っている。また祖父母世代からの育児支援を得ながら，自らの仕事量と労働時間を調整する。しかし，彼女たちは労働環境や労働条件に対して不満があっても，使用者との間で，集団的な労使交渉ルートを事実上保有していない点にある。したがって，自らの仕事に対する不満があれば，我慢するか，転職するかという2つの選択肢しか持てないことが分かった。This paper analyzes the attitudes of highly educated women in China towards their work and family lives, as well as the choices they make regarding these aspects. A semi-structured interview survey is conducted with highly educated women categorized into 2 groups: working young women and women who are both working and raising children, focusing on whether they have experienced childbirth and child-rearing. The results show that young women are confronted with fierce job competition and unstable employment conditions. Women working and raising children are expected to be economically independent and bear most of the family role responsibilities. While they receive childcare support from their grandparents’ generation, they also adjust their workload and working hours accordingly. However, despite their dissatisfaction with their work conditions, they lack a collective negotiation route with their employers. Consequently, they face the limited choices of either tolerating their current situation or switching to a new job if they experience dissatisfaction with their work.論文(Article)departmental bulletin pape
Analysis of anti-eavesdropping performance of spatially selective modulation in an indoor environment
Get PDF物理層におけるセキュリティ技術の一つとして，空間選択性変調方式(SSM: Spatially selective Modulation)が提案されている．この方式では，チャネルの場所依存性を活用し適切に送信位相の設定を行うことで，所定位置に存在する正規受信局でのみ，所望の変調信号を受信することができる．本稿では，実際の室内環境における伝搬特性を，決定論的チャネルモデルであるレイトレーシングにより求める．解析により得られた特性から，計算機上でSSMを構築することで，室内環境における秘密伝送性能の評価を行い，想定環境下でのSSMの有効性を検証する．As a physical layer security technique, we have proposed spatially selective modulation (SSM). In the method, properly controlling the phase of the transmitted signals allows only at the location of the legitimate receiver to receive the desired modulated signal. In this paper, the propagation characteristics in an indoor environment are calculated by the ray-tracing by which the performance of SSM for spatial geometry and the distribution of the transmitter and the receiver can be evaluated. Based on the characteristics obtained from the analysis, the secret transmission performance was evaluated, and the effectiveness of SSM was verified in the assumed environment.原著論文departmental bulletin pape

Get PDF本論の目的は、ジョン・スチュアート・ミルが主著『論理学体系』の中で考究している帰納という論理的操作に一定の光を当てて、ミルが表立っては取り上げていない数学的帰納の位置づけを闡明するところにある。数学的帰納は、ミルの言う帰納が抱えている論理的飛躍を回避してはいるものの、真正の帰納が備えている特性を保有している。その点で、数学的帰納は、帰納という呼称に値する論理的な推論であるのである。Ths paper aims to show the logical status of mathematical induction from the perspective of induction which John Stuart Mill explains in A System of Logic. Indeed, Mill does not explicitly focus on mathematical induction, which modern logicians and mathematicians have formulated through the development of logic in the 20th century. But Mill's conception of induction throws significant light on mathematical induction. Though it does not relate to a logical leap like induction, mathematical logic has the main characteristic of induction that Mill points out in A System of Logic. In Matsuyama (2023), five types are presented and they are positioned within the framework of the observing-following theory. The first objective of this study is to confirm the validity of the three types of followership, with particular attention to the three types of followership that can contribute to an organization. The results of the interviews generally confirmed their validity. The second objective is to identify first followership.
