MATHEMATICAL MODEL OF THERMAL REACTION PROCESS FOR EXTERNAL HEATING EQUIPMENT IN THE MANUFACTURE OF SEMICONDUCTORS (PART I)
Get PDFThis paper presents a mathematical model for a thermal reaction process of external heating equipment. The new control system design for this process, which treats a heat source owing model for an externally attached device is proposed. The equation of a distributed parameter system as a coupled system with the heat reaction process is presented. This paper proposes a lumped heating system to replace the distributed heating function with a time delay as a whole element. The model that is equivalent to a system in order to make possible practical devices is considered. CONSIDERATION OF PHASE TRANSITION MECHANISMS DURING PRODUCTION IN MANUFACTURING PROCESSES
Get PDFIn this study, by introducing the Ginzburg-Landau free energy, we define a parameter corresponding to an order parameter as a factor of the phase transition in manufacturing processes. Because thermal diffusion equations can be applied as mathematical models in the manufacturing process, we consider the applicability of the "Edge of Chaos", which is used in complex systems, to the manufacturing industry and the extent to which it would do so. We believe that in the manufacturing industry, the "Edge of Chaos" is a phenomenon that is caused by the loss of synchronization between the production and production throughput. The phase transition phenomenon is observed as the process throughput while manufacturing certain control equipment. We also verify the phase transition in the system through experiments on the flow production system. To maintain synchronization between the manufacturing and process throughput, it is necessary to know the critical point of the phase transition. From an economic perspective, it is important to focus on ways to prevent the critical point from being exceeded. In this study, we adopt the average value of the normalized rate-of-return deviations as the critical point. By not exceeding the average value of the rate-of-return, it is possible to maintain uninterrupted production.journal articl
Promoting Learner Autonomy and Language Awareness Through Blogging
Get PDFThe benefits of learner Weblogs, or blogs as they are more commonly known, have been reported in various educational contexts in recent years. In the teaching and learning of English as a foreign language (EFL), learner-created blogs have been cited as a way of developing language skills and promoting learner autonomy (Harwood, 2010, Illes, 2012). This paper reports on the use of a class blog with a group of English language learners at Niigata University of International and Information Studies (NUIS). It describes the procedures involved in and the results of implementing blogging activities. Content analysis of the students’ blog posts and observation of in-class blogging activities revealed the benefits of the project. These included the development of language awareness and provision of genuine communication opportunities. However, some problems also emerged, mostly related to learner motivation, confidence and autonomy. Dual-Earner Couples' Gender Display in Housework-Sharing Behavior : Empirical Evidence from Home Production Approach
Get PDF本論文は、共稼ぎ夫婦の間で家事労働時間分担に関するジェンダー・ディスプレイが発生しているのかを実証的に検証した。通常、このジェンダー・ディスプレイの実証分析は個票データを用いた多変量解析によって行われるのに対し、本論文は、まずジェンダー・ディスプレイを家事生産アプローチから理論的に説明し、かつ、2006 年１月に実施したアンケート調査の結果から得られた理想と現実の家事労働時間分担比率に関するデータを用いた平均値の差の検定によってジェンダー・ディスプレイを実証的に検証したという点で、この分野における分析手法上の貢献が見られる。その実証分析の結果から、夫と妻の間で家事労働時間分担に関してはジェンダー・ディスプレイが発生し、夫が理想の家事労働時間分担比率よりも小さな比率しか担っていないのに対し、妻の家事労働時間分担比率は合理的な時間配分を行った場合よりもはるかに大きくなっており、したがってその効用が大きく低下しているものと考えられる。departmental bulletin pape
A Study of Development Support System for Object-Oriented Design Exercise of Information Systems
Get PDF本学の情報システム学科では、オブジェクト指向の概念と設計から開発までの展開を具体的に理解するために、情報システム設計開発の演習科目を設けている。この演習の後半部分ではOOP によるプログラム作成を行っているが、学生と教員双方に様々な負荷が増大してきた。ここではこの問題を解決すべく、短時間にプログラムの初学者でも簡単な情報システムをOOP で構築できる開発支援環境について述べる。本開発支援環境は、予め作成したスーパクラスを提供し、RDB を不要としたオブジェクトの永続化、継承による実装プログラム作成量の削減、分かりやすいデバッグ支援を実現する。まだ半期１回の演習に供したところであり、定性的な評価にとどまるが、OOP による実装負荷を具体的に軽減することができたと評価する。今後、種々の作成事例を増やしてさらなる改修を行い、有効性の定量的評価を進める必要がある。departmental bulletin pape

Get PDFThis paper proposes a mathematical model that is derived from bilinear partial differential equations (BPDs) in order to configure a control system including the external heat equipment (EHE) proposed in Part1. It is widely recognized that the mathematical model of the heat exchange unit has been reported. The target control system can be configured using the control parameter of the overall heat exchange coefficient (OHEC), which is given using a linear approximation from BPDs to an ordinary differential equation (ODE). The numerical simulation results are also represented for the optimal control system, and the gradient method is used in this simulation. Our findings show that this study is suitable for possible practical systems.journal articl

Get PDF筆者が初年次教育の授業で試行した「200 字論述」では、「現在持っている知識で考える」ことを最大の目的とし、教員が指定したテーマに沿って就職試験の作文を想定して作文を行った。その結果、知識や語彙の少ない傾向が見られた。また、テーマ設定の適切性や答案の評価方法が問題点として挙げられた。以上のことから、より効果がある文書作成教育や、知識の欠落を補う教育を行うことを検討すべきである。departmental bulletin pape
Disaster Management and JIT of Automobile Supply Chain
Get PDFThe 2011 Tohoku Earthquake was huge damage to Japan, especially, along the coasts of Miyagi, Iwate, and Fukushima. There was catastrophic damage by tsunami created by this earthquake. Japan frequently has been affected by strong earthquake before Tohoku Earthquake. Much has been emphasized about the impacts of human and physical visible damages since disasters struck and there are a lot of studies about disaster in terms of seismology, meteorology, geology, structural mechanics, etc. But, the invisible damages, such as supply chain network, production system has been obstructed, not revealed. In spite of our experiences in huge disasters, we haven't tried to unveil these invisible damages. In fact, the automobile industries also suffered a great loss due to this disaster. Supplies of assemblies/products from Japan had stopped, and interrupted other production activities in the world. In order to unveil invisible damages, this paper describes the affects to the supply chain network, production system in Japanese automobile manufacturers by two disasters - the 2011 Tohoku Earthquake and the 2007 Niigata Chuetsu-offshore Earthquake-.
