Get PDF国際テロリズムに対する対応として国際テロリズム自体を規制対象とする条約によるテロ行為者の刑事責任の追求がある。かかる条約の中核的な規定が、犯行後自国領域内でテロ事件の被疑者を発見した国が、被疑者を他国に引き渡さないかぎり、訴追のために事件を権限ある当局に付託することを求める規定（「引渡しまたは訴追（aut dedere,aut judicare）」）である。本稿では結論として、拷問禁止委員会（CAT）および国際司法裁判所（ICJ）における先例をふまえ、かかる規定のありうる解釈として、被疑者所在国は引渡しを求める従前の請求に関係なく権限ある当局に事件を付託することが求められること、その意味で引渡しに優先順位はおかれておらず、引渡しと訴追の関係は独立した関係にあること、また、引渡しの請求を受けた場合、かかる請求を受け入れることで訴追の義務から自己を解放することは許容されること、を導き出している。departmental bulletin pape
A Genre-based Approach to Preparing for IELTS and TOEFL Essay Writing Tasks
Get PDFGenre-based approaches to the teaching of writing have been employed in various English language learning contexts, especially in the area of academic writing. This paper proposes the adoption of a genre-based framework to help learners prepare for the essay writing sections of the IELTS and TOEFL tests. Recent test results indicate that the writing sections of these tests are the most problematic. A genre-based teaching methodology is proposed that should not only help prepare learners to meet their most immediate needs in achieving satisfactory scores in such tests, but also empower them to achieve various goals in the future.departmental bulletin pape
Mathematical Analysis of Vapor Diffusion Process for Impregnated Solvent on Sheet-Type Films : Diffusion Status Model for Designing a Control System Configuration
Get PDFIn this paper, we design a control system configuration in a drying oven using the mathematical model of the status in the drying oven and describe it using a transfer function with a quadratic time delay. The transfer function is called a vapor pressure function and has main state variables in a drying oven. From a mathematical point of view, a one-dimensional advection diffusion equation (ODAE), for which the object model has a constant speed v in the direction, defines the drying oven status of the target system. The ODAE is given by applying the Lagrange differential operator. For example, it is possible to determine the optimal heat source position or the distribution function under ODAE. It is generally difficult to measure the real data in the state variables within the drying oven. However, it is possible to determine the real data using various estimation algorithms such as Kalman filter theory and also to determine the configuration of a control system.departmental bulletin pape

Empirical Analysis of Dual-Earner Couples' Housework Behavior Using the Japanese Version of the General Social Survey (JGSS)-2006 Data
Get PDFIn this article, I sample data from the JGSS-2006 and conduct an empirical analysis of the housework behavior of dual-earner couples in Japan using their housework participation frequency as the dependent variable. The results of this empirical analysis show that the housework behavior of husbands with wives working part-time is explained by the gender display model while the housework behavior of wives is explained by the autonomy model regardless of their employment type. The results also show that the housework behavior of husbands with wives working full-time is not explained by either the economic exchange model or the gender display model.journal articl
