Construction of a cluster model of the production process using division vectors
Get PDFPreviously, we have proposed a lot-casting process, namely, the asymmetric simple exclusion process
(ASEP), to improve throughput. The main cause of production retention between processes is the fact
that different processes operate at different speeds, i.e., the problem of working ability. In the present
article, we describe the theoretical background of our previously proposed ASEP model. Numerous
human workers carry out production according to the rules of the production flow system. During this
flow, no worker progresses to the next process until the front process ends. Therefore, data can be
updated one by one from the front step. Furthermore, it is assumed that either the system does not know

Get PDF本稿は、中国における主要な水産養殖の産地である大連地域を中心とする遼寧省沿岸部における養殖事業の現状を概観する。
遼寧省の水産物生産量は中国の22省中第5位にランクされている。同省の生産量は、2016年度550.1万トンであったが、その内、漁獲による生産量（漁労生産量）は142.1万トンで26％、養殖生産量は408万トンで74%である。遼寧省では、淡水養殖が24％に対し、海水養殖が76％と圧倒的に海水養殖が多いのが特徴である。遼寧省の海水養殖生産量の魚類別の内訳をみると、貝類の251.9万トン（81.2%）、2番目は藻類の32.6 万トン(10.5%)、3番目は魚類の7.2 万トン（2.3%）、4番目は、甲殻類の1.4 万トンである。
大連地域では、ホタテ、ヒラメ、フグやナマコなどを、日本や韓国へ輸出する一方で国内市場の開拓にも力を入れている。departmental bulletin pape
A Rebirth of Community Resources on Hybrid Walking around Town ― A Case Study of “Niigata Quest” ―
Get PDFIn this research, the researcher developed “hybrid walking”- walking around town that combines gamification analog and digital with a narration of community resources. This walking around town increases the value of reginal resources. The researcher experiments to prove “hybrid walking” of gamification and narration. Narration evokes powerful emotions, inspires change and drives action. Gamification describes the broad trend of applying game mechanics to non-game environments to motivate people and alter their behaviors. This model experiment was done in Niigata City. Participants who increased social communication have a strong passion towards the town. A Comparative Study of MOOCs among Higher Education Institutions in Asian Countries: The instructor’s perspectives
Get PDFMassive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) is regraded as “educational democratic revolution,” (JMOOC, 2016) or “a new textbook in 21 century” (Kanenari, 2014), have borderless, free educational resources and materials for all learners- at all times, wherever they are, whatever they want, and whoever they are. MOOCs were started mainly in the United States in 2012 (JMOOC, 2016), and there are 101 million MOOC learners all over the world in 2018 (Shah, 2018). The implementation of MOOCs in English as a Foreign Language (EFL) class, however, was hardly known in Japan in 2014. The researcher have been utilizing the appropriate MOOCs to 1st-year students as a kind of self-directed learning in the required course at Niigata University of International and Information Studies (NUIS) since 2014. Although the potential value and effectiveness of MOOCs are clarified by the data findings and analysis of questionnaires done by NUIS students, further challenge should be done to utilize MOOCs in EFL class in Japan. A Statistical Study on a Result of “Classes Evaluation by Students”
Get PDF新潟国際情報大学で実施している「学生による授業評価アンケート」の結果は、個々の教員の担当した授業の全体の中での位置付けが明確にわかるようには提示されてこなかった。また、アンケートの際に寄せられる学生からのコメントは、個人情報の観点などから、担当教員にのみ提示され、他の教員の参考に供されることはなかった。筆者は、FD委員会の委員長という役職上、「学生による授業評価アンケート」の詳細なデータに接することができた。そこで、2017年度前期の「学生による授業評価アンケート」結果を分析対象として、統計的手法により「学生による授業評価アンケート」結果の全体的傾向、学生のコメントの傾向を分析した。その結果、次のようなことが示された。①アンケートの回答数が多くなるほど、評価点の平均は低下する傾向がある。②学生コメントを好意的、批判的、中間的に分類すると、好意的なコメントの数に比し、批判的コメントが多い。③批判的コメント数が多くなると評価点が低下する傾向がある。departmental bulletin pape
An Analysis of Niigata Kotsu Co., Ltd.: Focusing Segment Information
Get PDF本稿では、新潟交通と他社のセグメント情報を比較して分析することにより、新潟交通が有する問題点の考察を行った。その結果、新潟交通は比較対象企業の中でほぼ中位の業績であるがJR4社と大手民鉄よりは劣ることと、運輸事業への依存度が比較的低く、不動産事業を中心に多角化が進んでいる傾向が見られることが改めて明らかになった。そこで、多角化の推進と運輸事業の強化について検討を行った結果、多角化の推進は有望とはいえず、万代シテイの不動産事業を維持しつつ運輸事業を強化することが有望であることが導き出された。今後の課題として、新潟交通へのインタビュー調査の実施と、新潟交通とJR東日本との間における共通運賃制度の導入の検討が挙げられる。departmental bulletin pape
Singing Silence on the Planet with Maxine Hong Kingston's The Woman Warrior
Get PDFKingston’s The Woman Warrior, although highly controversial, holds an exceptional seat of canon in Asian American literature. This paper firstly surveys how the work has instigated “the pen wars” in Asian American literature, and makes a comparison with Alice Walker’s The Color Purple, gender and ethnicity as crucial issues. It then takes a closer look at two of the five stories in The Woman Warrior, “No Name Woman” and “A Song for a Barbarian Reed Pipe,” paying attention to the problematics of language and silence. It argues that the no name woman, the speaker’s aunt who jumped into the family well with a new-born illegitimate baby half a century ago in China, is not a subaltern who could not speak, but a suicide bomber who turned her (dead) body into a site of woman/writing, a speaker and warrior at once. In the final section it examines the life of an ancient woman poet Ts’ai Yen, a symbol of female gender that Spivak calls “the most global institution with the longest history.” While succumbing to a series of outrageous fates as wife and slave, she becomes a translator between “barbarians” and “barbarians,” and sings “a chant that could hardly be discerned from silence.”departmental bulletin pape

Get PDFIn this paper we will show how to define a sequential machine by using PSC system with T as a finite set of pair-sentence formulas. A pair-sentence form (A0,B1) means that if we assume each stage number i specifies the delay time of the link operation between pair-sentences, then the pair-sentence form (Ai,Bi+1) shows (Ai,Ai+1) (where Ai+1 := Bi) that is the propagation of truth value of a sentence A at one delay time. So, we can define the one delay truth signal circuit by using a pair-sentence form.
