Objective: To investigate the medical treatment methods, efficacy and progress of acute severe pancreatitis. Methods: 60 patients of acute severe pancreatitis in our hospital was selected from October 2007 to December 2007. They were divided into two groups namely, the observation group and control group. The control group was treated by routine western medicine treatment with metronidazole, whereas the observation group received the combined treatment of conventional western medicine with paeonol, rhubarb and other Chinese medicine. After the medical treatment was found to be ineffective, the patients then underwent for surgery. Both groups were observed and compared in terms of the cure rate, death rate, symptom relief time, fever duration, recovery time of intestinal peristalsis and hospitalization. Result: The cure rate, symptom relief time and hospitalization time were significantly different between the two groups, with the observation group was significantly better than the control group (p < 0.05). Conclusion: The usage of metronidazole, Cortex Moutan, rhubarb and other traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of severe acute pancreatitis (SAP) revealed good clinical efficacy, which is worth to be fostered in clinical application

Objective: To discuss the relationship between hematuria and ultrasonic renal calculi in young man after exercise. Method: In the medical observation, 48 cases of young male patients with hematuria after exercise in our hospital from January 2011 to December 2012 were selected as the observation objects, the subjects were transient hematuria, and 92 patients without hematuria were selected as the contrast, all patients underwent ultrasound examination, the detection rate of renal calculi and the ultrasonic manifestation were retrospectively analyzed. Results: The incidence of renal calculi of the young and middle-aged male patients with hematuria after exercise is statistically different in different parts and different age (p < 0.05), and the incidence rate of renal calculi in patients with hematuria after exercise and patients without hematuria was significantly different (p < 0.05), as shown in Table 1, Table 2. There was no obvious linear relationship between the degree of hematuria and the incidence of renal calculi after young men's exercise, as shown in Table 3. Conclusion: From this clinical research results we can know that renal calculi is the main cause of hematuria after exercise for the young man, and the clinical examination and diagnosis of renal calculi with ultrasonography has higher clinical detection rate, therefore the clinical application value is higher

Objective: To discuss the diagnostic value of ultrasonography in perianal abscess and anal fistula. Method: through retrospectively analyzing clinical data of 80 cases of perianal abscess and anal fistula patients in our hospital from January 2010 to December 2011, compare the sensitivity (Se), specificity (Sp) and positive predictive value of transrectal ultrasonography and body surface ultrasonography. Results: Operation pathology of 80 cases of patients confirms that there are 35 cases of single perianal abscess (43.8%), transrectal ultrasonography and body surface ultrasonography diagnosis also confirm 35 cases; 2 cases of single anal fistula (2.5%), transrectal ultrasonography and body surface ultrasonography diagnosis also confirm 2 cases; 43 cases of abscess combined anal fistula (53.8%), body surface ultrasonography diagnosis confirms 39 cases of abscess and 36 cases of anal fistula transrectal ultrasonography diagnosis confirms 40 cases of abscess and 38 cases of anal fistula. There is no significant difference in Se, Sp and positive predictive value between two groups (p > 0.05). Conclusion: There is no significant difference in Se, Sp and positive predictive value of body surface ultrasonography diagnosis, but it can obviously relieve patients' pain
