Biofeedback EEG can quantify abnormal phenomenon of EEG in psychology
TEEG (electroencephalography, EEG) is a kind of single which we know human brain function active.BT (Biofeedback Therapy, BT) is based the method of EEG technology, focusing on the studies of human thoughts and emotions activities. We shall study new points that the two kinds of EEG technology are used simultaneously, to find the BT can be quantified abnormal EEG activities in mental illness, to provide the certain reference value in clinical. We found that BT can quantify β wave, θ wave and some abnormal phenomenon of traditional EEG. Therefore, based on the conventional examination of the traditional EEG in clinical, we used BT to further check. The results show not only to quantify the advantages of traditional EEG brain waves specific values occur, such as the specific data of fatigue (θ wave) and anxiety (β wave), but also abnormal phenomenon. Quantized data would become more intuitive, and to assess the clinical efficacy of treatment more scientific and objectivity
Clinical Research on Tanreqing Injection Treatment of The Acute Lung Injury
Objective: To discuss the clinical effect of Tanreqing injection in treatment of acute lung injury. Methods: 47 patients with acute lung injury in our hospital from January 2009 to February 2014 are selected and randomly divided into two groups. The control group has 24 cases and receives the conventional emergency treatment measures, including establishment of intravenous channel, loop support, oxygen inhalation, antibiotics application and primary trauma treatment, etc. There are 23 cases in experimental group, on the basis of treatment of the control group, they are treated with Tanreqing injection. The two groups are compared after treatment to study the clinical efficiency, blood gas index, SIRS score and the incidence of ARDS. Results: The treatment efficiency of patients with acute lung injury in experimental group is significantly higher than the control group (p < 0.05). After treatment, the blood gas index such as PO2, PCO2, PO2/FiO2 and others and SIRS score of patient with acute lung injury in both groups are obviously improved, and the experimental group is significantly better than the control group (p < 0.05). At the same time, the incidence of ARDS of patients with acute lung injury in the experimental group is significantly lower than the control group (p < 0.05). Conclusion: The use of Tanreqing injection during the treatment of acute lung injury can effectively improve patients’ ventilation and alleviate symptoms of respiratory distress and has good prognosis
Causes Analysis and Preventive Measures of Blood Donation Reaction of University Student
Objective: To analyze the causes of blood donation reaction of university students, propose appropriate preventive measures to avoid blood waste and ensure the quality of the blood. Methods: The university students in Guiyang city were selected from January to December 2010, The cases of blood donation reaction and the causes are analyzed on 7063 college students. Results: Among the 7063 college students, there are 292 students with blood donation reaction, the main cause is psychological factors, followed by fatigue before blood donation, not-ideal blood donation environment, limosis or starvation, etc. It occurs more in the first time donors. blood donors with different times and posture have different adverse reactions. Conclusion: Constantly summarizing experiences, development and implementation of scientific and causable preventive measures, improving the environment for blood donation, strengthening the sense of responsibility and sense of service of blood collection personnel, strengthening psychological nursing, giving donors a warm caring and confidence as far as possible, making donors relax mind and in the best state can help to reduce and prevent the occurrence of blood donation reaction, organize  more donators and college students to actively participate in blood donation, in order to promote vigorous, healthy and sustained development of voluntary blood donation. The blood donation adverse reactions of university students are related to the frequency of blood donation and posture, we have developed a series of preventive measures against the causes of blood donation adverse reactions to reduce the incidence of adverse reactions
Primary Hydatidosis Of The Tibia: A Tricky Diagnosis
Primary hydatidosis of the tibia is a rare disease. In an endemic area, it should be considered in the differential diagnosis of a hypolucent osteolytic lesion on xray. If not properly managed, anaphylactic shock may occur intraoperatively, as well as increased reccurence of the disease. This is a case report of a primary tibial hydatid cyst, treated first with curettage and phenolizaton, and then after recurrence, treated with total knee arthroplasty. The Femoral Prosthesis Fracture Analysis around Femur after Hip Replacement
Objective: To investigate the clinical effects of patients with femoral prosthesis fracture phenomena after the application of locking plate fixation for hip replacement surgery. Method: 78 cases of postoperative patients with periprosthetic femoral fracture phenomenon after hip replacement were selected and divided randomly into a control and treatment group, respectively, with an average of 39 cases per group. The control group was treated with the shape memory alloy inner ring fixing technology whereas the locking plate fixation was applied for the treatment group. Result: Fracture treatment around the femoral prosthesis in patients of treated group was better in comparison to the control group. Significantly, the treatment group revealed shorter duration of hospitalization, the recovery of limb weight-bearing capacity and the healing process as compared to  the control group. Harris scores were significantly higher in the treated group in contrast to the control group. Additionally, lower adverse reaction rate was found in the treatment group as compared to the control group. Conclusion: Obviously, patient who have femoral periprosthetic fracture phenomena after receiving hip replacement were likelihood to be treated with the locking plate fixation technique
Treatment Experience of 16 Cases in Combined with Posterior Condylar Fractures Schatzker types II and III Tibial Plateau Fracture
Objective: Exploring the treatment of combined posterior lateral approach with open reduction and internal fixation for the treatment of combined fractures of the ankle on the treatment of tibial plateau fractures with Schatzker types II and III. Method: Between April 2012 and March 2015, 16 cases of Schatkzer types II and III tibial plateau fractures were treated with T or L type limited contact dynamic compression plate (LC-DCP). Results: All 16 cases were followed-up for 12 to 36 months, with an average of 18.3 months. According to the Merchant score, 10 cases were excellent, good in 4 cases, and in 2 cases, the excellent and good rating was 87.5%. Conclusion: After treatment, anatomical reduction and stability of the posterior condyle was emphasized, and there were early functional usage and recovery of the joint functions. At the same time, the external side of the incision can be used to restore the external and rear sides to avoid replacement of the body position and improve the operation efficiency
Clinical analysis of ureteroscopic holmium laser lithotripsy for the treatment of nephrolithiasis
The objective of the study is to evaluate the clinical value of ureteroscopic holmium laser lithotripsy for the treatment of nephrolithiasis. Clinical data of 44 patients treated for renal stones with polyscope modular flexible ureteroscopic holmium laser lithotripsy from May 2014 to April 2015 were retrospectively analysed. Following the operation, F4.7 D-J stents were routinely indwelled for 4 weeks and catheterization for 1–3 days. A plain kidney, ureter, and bladder (KUB) X-ray was performed on postoperative days two. A total of four success cases were determined following the first treatment. The remaining 40 cases were first placed with double-J stent and the surgery was performed one week later. A stone size between 0.8–4.0 cm in diameter was defined, the operation time for the treatment was 80–180 minutes, patients were discharged within 3-5 days, and the double-J stent was removed within 1–3 months. Thirty-nine patients were found to be completely stone-free at approximately three months postoperatively. However, five patients were shown to have 11.1% of residual stones after treatment. No blood transfusion, septic shock, ureteral injury, and other complications were reported. Flexible ureteroscopic holmium laser lithotripsy is safe and effective for the treatment of nephrolithiasis. This approach could be a valuable choice for the treatment of patients with renal stones
Clinical Application of Miniature Peroneal Perforation Flap for Free Grafting In Soft Fibers of Hand, Foot and Skin
Objective:Â To study the clinical application and effect of free transplantation of miniature peroneal perforation flap in soft and tissue defects of hand, foot and skin. Method:Â 28 patients with hand, foot, skin and soft tissue defects who were treated in hospital from May 2015 to May 2016 were selected as the subjects. The patients were randomly divided into group A as experimental group and group B as control group. Two groups of patients with treatment site microcirculation, postoperative recovery and sensory score were compared. Results:Â The microcirculation indexes of group A were significantly better than those of group B (P <0.05). The rate of recovery in group A was 92.86% and rate of recovery in group B was 71.43%, after treatment recovery in group A is significantly better than group B (P <0.05). Before and after treatment, the sensory scores of the two groups were not statistically significant (P> 0.05). The sensory score of group A was significantly higher than that of group B (P <0.05). Conclusion: The microperitoneal perforation flap dissection has a good clinical effect, which can effectively improve the postoperative recovery of patients with soft tissue defects of hand, foot and skin, improve the microcirculation index of the treatment site and improve the sensory score of the treatment site, should be widely used in clinical treatment
Determination of Quality of life in patients with chronic renal disease undergoing hemodialysis; a tertiary care experience
OBJECTIVE: Our objective is to determine the quality of life in chronic renal disease patients, to evaluate the pros and cons of dialysis in improving the QOL and to suggest an improved system of healthcare services provided to the patients.INTRODUCTION: Chronic kidney disease (CKD), also known as chronic renal disease, is a progressive loss in renal function over a period of months or years. In medicine, Dialysis is a process for removing waste and excess water from the blood, and is used primarily as an artificial replacement for lost kidney function in people with renal failure. Chronic renal disease has many complications which can decrease the Quality of Life.MATERIAL AND METHODS: A prospective case control study was conducted on 40 patients admitted to urology department of Mayo Hospital, Lahore for hemodylasis. Data was collected on a preformed questionnaire of WHO about quality of life. Some demographic variables like age, education and income of the patient were added to the standard WHOQoL questionnaire.RESULTS: WHOQoL questionnaire for both case and control groups had a significant p-value in four domains including overall quality of life (p=0.001), physical health (p=0.001), psychological health (p=0.001) and environmental health (p=0.001).CONCLUSION: CKD treatment and in particular dialysis can decrease the quality of life due to multiple effects. The major aspects of life affected in an individual undergoing dialysis are physical health, psychological health and environmental health.Â
Correlation Between Serum C-Reactive Protein And Cystatin C In Patients With Acute Cerebral Infarction And Carotid Artery Stenosis
To investigate the correlation between serum C-reactive protein (CRP) and serum cystatin C (Cys-C) levels in patients with acute cerebral infarction and carotid artery stenosis. Methods: From January 2015 to December 2016 admitted to our hospital new acute cerebral infarction parallel neck vascular color Doppler ultrasound examination showed 121 cases of carotid stenosis as the case group; select the same period of hospitalized patients with non-cerebrovascular disease in 50 cases As a control group. Fasting venous blood was collected on the third day after onset of the disease and serum levels of CRP and Cys-C were measured and compared. Results: Serum levels of CRP and Cys-C in case group were significantly higher than those in control group (P <0.05). The correlation between serum CRP and Cys-C was found in any pairwise comparison (r = 0.4732). The level of CRP and Cys-C were closely related to the degree of carotid artery stenosis (P <0.05). Conclusion: The combined detection of serum CRP and Cys-C levels can be used to evaluate the degree of carotid artery stenosis in patients with acute cerebral infarction and provide a reference for the next carotid endarterectomy
