RESEARCHES ON SOIL CONTAMINATION WITH HEAVY METALS AND THEIR REMANENCE IN VEGETABLES
 The paper presents the results of experimental researches on soil contamination with heavy metals (copper, lead, zinc) in different concentration each (c1=1.5 %; c2=3.0 %; c3=4.5 %; c4=6.0 %). The contaminated soil was placed in pots, where spinach and radish seeds were planted. The vegetables were grown in a greenhouse until the end of the vegetation period, afterwards being harvested and the remanence of each heavy metal for each concentration was determined for each plant. The results obtained were compared with the blank sample where the soil was not contaminated.       The purpose of the study was to identify the levels of heavy metals (Cu, Zn and Pb) transfer/absorption from the soil into spinach leaves respectively radish roots
CONSIDERATIONS ON THE EXTRACTION TECHNOLOGY OF SUGAR SORGHUM JUICE

THE SUITABILITY OF SOILS IN THE AREA OF THE COMMUNE DIOSTI, DOLJ COUNTY, FOR DIFFERENT CROPS AND, IN PARTICULAR, FOR HORTICULTURAL PLANTS
The importance of the soil evaluation work consists in that the evaluation marks establish the uses and cultures most indicated on a certain field. The evaluation marks are variable and depend on the characteristics of the soil, the crop varieties and hybrids used, the technologies applied, etc. From the analysis of the physical, hydro-physical and chemical properties of the soils in Diosti commune, Dolj County, and their distribution by modes of use, it is found that the largest surface is suitable for arable use; the horticultural plants are suitable on a smaller surface. The productions obtained during the period when the observations were made (2015-2018) at the main horticultural plants are average or tend towards the upper part of the production recommended by the technology. In 2018, with apple tree, a production of 12.5 t / ha was obtained. In 2016 and 2017, the production was 11 t / ha. The average over the 4 years was 10.7 t / ha. The plum tree yields were between 5.5 - 7.0 t / ha. These obtained productions are due to the culture system with large distances between trees and the climatic conditions in the area but also to other factors such as not applying the phytosanitary treatments in time

Fertilizers play an important role on the temporary grasslands in order to obtain a spontaneous crop of good quality feed. When applying manure with a modest dose of phosphorus (P50), the harvest difference is over 2t / ha d.s. compared to the variant that did not receive this macro element. MORPHOLOGIC AND BIOMETRIC OBSERVATIONS ON ALMOND ‘TOHANI`CULTIVATED FORMS LEAVES
The paper presents a research model of leaf investigation, based on biometrical measurements and morphological observations. In literature, there are onlyfew studies concerning the biometrical investigation and analysis applied on spontaneous and cultivar plants leaves. The article comprises biometrical investigations on 3 PrunusamygdalusBatsch. (almond) cultivated ‘Tohani` forms (cf)(‘Tohani P1/7` – Row 1; ‘Tohani P23` – Row 3 şi ‘Tohani 13` – Row 16) leaves. The measurements included: linear measurements, percentage ratios, angular measurementsand other measurements such as the number of teeth/cm, the number semi-sum of secondary pairs of veins and the the leaf surface through which it was possible to determine the size class. The biometric measurements were the basis of a mathematical calculation formua of the average values on the studied genotype. Based on the biometric measurements it could make a more complete morphological characterization of the leaves of this almond cultivars plants
IMPROVING THE ENERGY CONSUMPTION OF AN INTENSIVE RECIRCULATING ACQUACULTURE SYSTEM USING A WATER-WATER TYPE HEAT PUMP
Aquaculture efficiency practiced in recirculating systems depends on a variety of factors, among which the most important is the energy consumed by the whole system. In order to assure a high degree of energy conservation, in a recirculating aquaculture system has to be maximized the recirculating water degree and has to be imposed the use of renewable energy sources for heating, respective for cooling the water within system as well as of hall. Maintenance of an appropriate climate in a recirculating aquaculture system involves high energy consumption, determined by high water quantities which have to be heat or cool, as well as determined by maintaining water temperature and of breeding space. An optimal solution for replacing conventional systems of heating/cooling and optimizing of energy consumption is the use of the heat pumps. In the present paper are presented experimental results performed with a heat pump of water-water type at different water replacing rates and two different water flows for demonstrating efficiency of a heat pump for improving energy consumption of a RAS
THE INFLUENCE OF WHEAT AND MAIZE CULTURES ON ROTATION AND MONOCULTURE ON THE ENZYMATIC COMPONENTS OF THE SOIL
In order to better characterize the soil's vitality and to assess the fertility level, pedo-enzymatic tests are used along with biotic and / or chemical analyzes. Pedo-enzymatic activities are evaluated in the laboratory to determine the potentials of a soil to release the ammonium and phosphorus required for soil and plant micropopulation nutrition. Pedo-enzymatic processes (pedo-phosphatase, pedo-amidase) are ongoing, to the extent that environmental conditions are favorable. The soil samples taken in the study were harvested from the Am (0-20 cm) horizon of the N0P70 fertilized variant, from the following crops: wheat after soybean crops of a three-year rotation, maize coming from a 4-year field temporarely outside the crop rotation, and from monocultures of wheat and maize. From the data analyzed as a result of this study it results that the crop rotation influences the pedo-enzymatic components of the soil. Total pedo-phosphatase activity in wheat and maize cultivation (rotating) was superior, the results being in the value group compared to the total pedo-phosphatase activity of the soil under the wheat and maize monocultures where the result of the analyzes indicated a much lower, being in b.
