INFLUENCE ON QUALITY AND ENERGY INDICES FOR A REVERSIBLE PLOW EQUIPPED WITH ELECTRIC VIBRATORS
The qualitative indices of the tillage as well as the exploitation energy indices represent two relevant factors in the exploitation of the agricultural equipments, these being the main barometer of the quality of the used equipment. The paper presents a comparative study of qualitative work indices, respectively energy indices, performed on two reversible plows with three troops, one used in the classical system and one optimized by implementing electrical systems for generating vibrations, located on each of the three active troops during operatio
COMPARATIVE STUDY OF VIBRATIONS IN APPARATUS COMBINATIONS TANGENTIAL THRESHING
Vibrations are dynamics phenomenon which appear in some environment as a result of an external force whose action consist on an oscillation. The effect of these oscillations harm to the environment where they appear and if this environment is the human body then the results are more harmful, hauling consequences, sometimes irreversible, on the health of the human body. In this respect, studying and knowing the effects of the vibrations on human body have become a necessity, the research taking place in order to find out the limit to which the men could work in an environment with vibrations such as the agricultural machinery (self-propelled combines for cereals crop in a way) without no effects on the health of human being
CRATAEGUS GENUS: PRESERVED PLANTS
Crataegus Genus is a complex group of small trees with more than 1000 species being native to northern temperate zones. The Herbarium hosts 200 plates that contain 30 Crataegus Genus species. Most plates belong to C. monogyna, C. pentagyna and C. oxyacantha. The majority of Crataegus species were gathered between the years 1934 and 1943. A large number of plates are signed by Al. Beldie, S. Paşcovski, Al. Borza, C.C.Georgescu and were gathered from Texas, Pensylvania (USA), and from Romania (Bucharest, Argeş). The herbarium offers a unique perspective for the Crataegus genus species in regard to their location-temporal dynami
ASPECTS REGARDING THE ENERGY POTENTIAL OF THE MISCANTHUS PLANT
Greenhouse gases resulting from human activities are the most significant driver of climate change. The use of renewable resources obtained by cultivating energy plants, that have the potential of replacing fossil fuels, is one of the most important approaches to reduce the consequences produced by this global climate change hazard. The paper presents information regarding the energy potential of the Miscanthus plant, that can be explored in three main directions: to produce bioethanol, biogas or solid biomass (chopped, pellets or briquettes), then use thermochemical processes for energy production
STUDY ON THE HUMAN RESOURCES DYNAMICS IN THE AGRICULTURAL SECTOR FROM SOUTH-MUNTENIA REGION, 2016-2021
The aim of the study was to analyze the labor resource involved in agricultural activity in the South-Muntenia Region, as well as to highlight the existing trends in this sector as a result of the health crisis we are going through. Existing statistical data indicate annual fluctuations in the number of employees in agriculture in the period 2016-2019, up to 1-2%, after which between 2019 and 2020 there is a decrease of 1.29%, considered insignificant. In Romania, there is a decrease of 1.8%, amid economic uncertainties, but also the capricious climate, avoiding employment. On the other hand, the average gross salary increases by 12.45% in 2020, compared to 2019, and the forecasts so far for 2021 follow the same trend
USE OF PROTEIN HYDROLYSATES IN ORGANIC AGRICULTURE
It is known to be a real challenge to find sustainable alternatives for the use of mineral fertilizers, especially nitrogen-based ones. This is a legal requirement in organic farming. Organic sources have a low concentration of nitrogen but have the advantage that they come from a renewable source and are found along with other compounds that have positive effects on plant nutrition. Protein hydrolysates(PHs) can improve agricultural production in terms of quality and quantity by enhancing seed germination, root development and nutrient uptake and can reduce the amount of chemical fertilizers used. This paper presents data from the literature on the use of protein hydrolysates as a source of nitrogen for crop fertilization
A REAL-TIME MONITORING APPLICATION OF ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS IN PROTECTED AREAS
With the development of technology, the greenhouse sector is constantly expanding, which is advantageous in terms of material economy, cost reduction, improved lighting efficiency and cultivation, but at the same time requires the implementation of a large number of sensor nodes to ensure coverage of environmental monitoring. The paper presents a real-time monitoring application of environmental conditions in a greenhouse, which includes sensors for monitoring temperature, relative humidity; CO2 concentration; soil temperature (at 3 depths: ground level, 10, 20 cm)
THE IMPORTANCE OF THE ACCURACY OF PUBLIC WEATHER FORECASTS FOR FARMERS IN THE CONTEXT OF CLIMATE CHANGE IN THE MANAGEMENT OF AGRO-TECHNICAL DECISIONS
In the context of environmental policy, the term climate change has become synonymous with global warming. The management of agrotechnical decisions includes specific activities of elaboration, organization, command, coordination and control. The information received, including weather forecasts, influence the entire decision-making mechanism, and erroneous information can cause an unsatisfactory result. The aim of the study is to verify the extent to which public meteorological forecasts developed for an agricultural area have been achieved to see if these forecasts can help farmers plan their activities according to these forecasts. In this paper a statistical study was performed, comparing a forecast model for 3 meteorological stations located in the agricultural area of Oltenia
PRIMARY OFFER OF OIL SEEDS IN DOLJ COUNTY (2014-2016)
Through its content, the work refers to the main oily plants grown in Dolj County for the analyzed interval (2014-2016).         Within the total surface area of 90,288 ha oily plants, sunflower (30.06%) predominates, followed by rapeseed at a large distance (14.67%). The county has a total production of 173,802 t oily seeds, to which the most contributed were: sunflower (79.65% - less weight than the surface), followed by rape (18.57% - bigger than in the case of the surface), the rest of the crops, not even having the percentage of 2%. The average yield has a general level of 1.925 kg / ha, over which there are exceedances of rapeseed and soybeans, as well as lower levels in other oily plants, oil liner and sunflower respectively (in the latter case the level is close to the average county)
STUDY ON N.T.G. AND ESCHERICHIA COLI CONTAMINATION OF CATTLE AND PIG CARCASSES
The total number of germs (NTG), determined during the technological flow of processing of cattle in the slaughterhouse, provided values between 4.8 - 6.8 log CFU/cm2 after the skinning stage and 3.1-5.2 log CFU/cm2 after the cooling stage. The highest values were recorded after the skinning stage in the inner thigh region, and the lowest after the cooling stage in the chest region .In pigs, NTG recorded higher values, between 4.2 - 5.8 log CFU/m2 after the scalding stage and 4.2 -7.1 log CFU/cm2 after evisceration. The highest values were obtained after the evisceration stage in the external region of the thigh, and the lowest after the scalding stage in the chest region
