A Design and Built of Wooden Floats for Micro-Light-Airplane(Second Report)
Get PDFP(論文)The wooden floats for the micro-light-airplane were designed after Cresswell Walker and built by hand. MAXAIR DRIFTER installing these floats succeeded in a series of the water taxing test. It was necessary to secure the safety of the flight test, (a) the load factor of taking off from the water / landing on the water, (b) the load above the water surface in the various condition, (c) the local pressure of the hull / the body surface of the float, and (d) the pressure distribution of the hull of the float were calculated following to Air Worthiness Regulation division second. As the result, the calculation models simulated the structural strength of the wooden floats were introduced, and there were clarified that the material strength of the wooden floats exceeded the results in stress. Furthermore, the calculating procedures of the weight center and the fore-and-aft inertia radius of the airplane equipped with the floats were mentioned.departmental bulletin pape

Change of consciousness of students attending a lecture for disaster prevention and future problems of local disaster prevention at the new town : A case study at Ooami-Shirasato town, Chiba prefecture
Get PDFP(論文)Because of the different ideas of communication between old and new inhabitants in developed towns, education for disaster prevention is one way for ability improvement of local disaster prevention.So the change of consciousness of students attending a lecture for local disaster prevention was investigated by a questionnaire survey at Ooami-Shirasato Town, Chiba prefecture. To make a map forseismic disaster prevention at local areas by themselves, they again recognized the importance of local disaster prevention, even students with high consciousness. On the other hand, they have someproblems with local disaster prevention. For example, because the number of voluntary organizationsfor disaster prevention at Ooami-Shirasato town is lower than the average number in Chiba prefecture, they feel a necessity to make such a kind of organization. For the teaching subjects of the Division of Mechanical Engineering, especially the contents of the subjects in charge of the author, relevant to the Instrument and Control Course, are mainly brought in focus in conjunction with the basic vector mathematics in this paper. Implementation Methodology of Control Algorithms for Fixed-Point Microprocessors : An Application of VMM to MRACS
Get PDFP(論文)The methodology we propose for realizing energy and space saving model reference adaptive control system (MRACS) is based on pulse width modulation (PWM) with a modified delta operator. The dynamic calculation range is at least twice that of the conventional range in fixed-point arithmetic, making it very useful in mechatronic systems because complex control algorithms can be implemented in short word-length. The present paper is aimed at applying the methodology named VMM to MRACS and verify the availability of VMM. First, the outline of VMM is described. Next,the implementation procedures of MRACS based on the shift operator and VMM form are shown. Finally, both methodsare compared on the first-order system. In the case of a 16 bit word-length both responses are not different from those byusing floating-point arithmetic. In the case of an 8 bit word-length responses based on VMM are almost similar to those byusing floating-point arithmetic unlike the conventional method based on the shift operator. Thus, the availability of VMMwas made clear in the case of a short word-length.departmental bulletin pape
