Multiple Precision Arithmetic of Diffracted Electromagnetic Waves by Circular Disk of Perfect Conductor
Get PDFP(論文)In the case of the numerical calculation using the analysis method of Nomura and Katsura,good results up to 2.5 or 3.0 wavelength with the double precision or the quadruple precision are able to be obtained, to electromagnetic diffraction by a circular disk of a perfect conductor. The cause of it can be explained by the fact that the numerical calculation is executed with sufficient precision in the calculationprocess. GMP is the library that can execute the numerical calculation by multiple precision in C andC++ language. MPFR, based on GMP, is the supplementary library equipped with the mathematical library functions. GMP++ differs from GMP in terms of the classes. MPFR do not have C++ classinterfaces. So, we have to design new interfaces. The purpose of this study is to investigate the cause ofthe fault results, and alter them to be good results using GMP, MPFR, GMP++ and the new interfaces while the radius of the disk is over 3 wavelengths.departmental bulletin pape
A Study on the Effective Use of CALL and the Improvement of English Ability of TMCIT's Students Clearing JABEE's Accreditation
Get PDFP(論文)The introduction of Alc Net Academy and Uchida's CALL room into the Arakawa Campus of TMCIT has provided it with the basis of English education by CALL. Moreover, the expected accreditation of TMCIT by JABEE and a report of the Central Council for Education this September requesting the strict assessment of college records suggest the necessity to improve the English ability of TMCIT's students.This paper treats the issue above in the following three sections; 1. CALL and the English ability of the students of a technical college needed for the accreditation by JABEE, 2. A report on the use of the CALL room, 3. Toward the Improvement of the English Ability of TMCIT's Students Clearing JABEE's Accreditation. The first section mentions the functions of CALL, the standard of the English ability of the students of a technical college for the accreditation by JABEE , and the circumstances of the introduction of CALL and Alc Net Academy into a national technical college. The second reports the lessons in the CALL room, its use besides lessons and its library use. The last discusses the validity of CALL for motivating English learning and its contribution to the improvement of the English ability of TMCIT's students, and suggests some hints for the effective use of CALL.departmental bulletin pape

Study of NOx Deoxidization Process in Dielectric Barrier Discharge
Get PDFP(論文)We are researching to investigate an effective processing method of non-thermalcorona plasma to make the gaseous pollutant (NOx and SOx, etc.) harmless. And we havedeveloped a new system which can improve the NOx deoxidization rate using the dielectric barrier discharge method. The system is composed of high voltage power supply of changeable frequency, and a reactor to generate the corona plasma. The structure of the reactor consists of the coaxial type electrodes and the glass vessel which insulates the innerelectrode from the outer electrode. Furthermore, the grains of ferroelectric (barium titanate) and titania are filled in the reactor vessel to promote the NOx removal efficiency.The result of our experiment clearly shows that this system can reduce the pollutnat NOx in a nitrogen gas by 80% and more.departmental bulletin pape

Potential difference derived from the separation of solute ions by diffusion difference
Get PDFP(論文)Potential difference caused by a separation of ions in an electrolytic solution is discussed. In an enclosed container inducing potential difference, an anion exchange membrane and a cation exchangemembrane are installed so as to divide the interior of the container into three sections. The middle section of the container is filled with a diluted NaCl solution, while the end sections are filled with pure water, thus the diffusion potential arises between each section. Ionic substances in a dilute solution of themiddle section diffuse into pure water of both the end sections, and thus ions are selectively permeated through ion exchange membranes: Cations increase in one end section by permeation through a cationexchange membrane, while anions increase in remaining end section by permeation through an anion exchange membrane. When the concentration of NaCl solution is 0.3 mol/l , the potential difference isabout 250mV induced between a pair of electrodes fixed onto interior both end-walls of the container.departmental bulletin pape
A Design and Built of Wooden Floats for Micro-Light-Airplane(First report)
Get PDFP(論文)The wooden floats for the micro-light-airplane were designed after Cresswell Walker and built by hand. They were based on standard boat-building techniques and on plans simplified their hull shape in order to facilitate their construction with marine ply-wood. The design was assisted with three-dimensional computer aided design software and could be scaled to any displacement required. In this report, some procedures calculating the buoyancy of each water tightness compartment and the limit of capsize were mentioned. The building process of the wooden floats was explained in detail, some useful techniques were introduced. The construction of the wooden floats was completed in December 2006, and MAXAIR DRIFTER installing these floats succeeded in the water taxing.departmental bulletin pape

Get PDFP(論文)The wooden floats for the micro-light-airplane were designed after Cresswell Walker and built by hand. The construction of the wooden floats was completed and a series of the water taxing test on MAXAIR DRIFTER installing these floats were carried out. As a result, it was clarified that there was some room for improvement to (1) spraying to the propeller, (2) handling on the water, and (3) pitching angle on the high speed water taxing. This report described some engineering knowledge we got in the process of taking measures to cope with the condition. We discussed a mechanism of the high speed water taxing, and explained the reason to equip with the step which was the characteristic structure of seaplane floats. The improved water-rudders had a good effect on handling, and the spray dam added on the floats decreased the spray to the propeller.departmental bulletin pape
An Interpretative Study of J. C. Oates' s The Wheel of Love(V)
Get PDFP(論文)In this interpretative study of Joyce Carol Oates' s ""Unmailed, Unwritten Letters"" in The Wheel of Love (1970), the theme of love, style and structure of the story are discussed in detail. As to the form of love, adultery and its tragic conclusion are also the central theme here. Her love is doomed considering the lonely situation of her life. The first-person narrative of a married woman in the letters, the story, is effective in the expression of distress and struggle of her mind. The letters themselves are an interior monologue, the expression of her mind. And the disorderly arrangement of the letters also contributes to express her anxiety and the strained situation of the story. This lonely woman is ready to accept everything -every conclusion, every torture, and pay the price of her adultery at the end of the story. Similar tragedies of love in The Wheel were discussed in the previous study.1 In the last stage of this series of interpretative studies, the central theme and structure of The Wheel of Love will be discussed as a whole.departmental bulletin pape
