Get PDFP(論文)The aim of this paper is to present the way of thinking how to secure sustainable electric energy in Tokyo metropolitan area, the capital of Japan, after the Great East Japan Earthquake and the accidents of Fukushima Daiichi nuclear Power Plant from our comparative study of Singapore by GCP project. As Tokyo has faced with big challenge to introduce the whole renewable energy systems, it is very effective to maintain good situations in not only environment but also in economic competitiveness and supply electric power sustainably in the capital sphere by developing smart grid, electricity market mechanism, and demand response scheme. Modeling of Welded Structure for Dynamic Analysis (Considering First and Second Vibration Modes)
Get PDFP(論文)Welding is widely used for construction of many structures. The dynamic characteristics of the welded structure are important for design of machines, buildings and so on. The effect of welding on the dynamic characteristics is investigated. In this paper, analytical models of welded structure based on experiment are examined. First, the dynamic characteristics of welded structure for the first and the second vibration mode are obtained from experiment using beam type welded specimens. Second, analytical models which represent experimental results are examined. Two models are considered and parameters are estimated based on the experimental results. One is the two-degree-of-freedom lumped mass model is considered. The damping ratios and the natural frequencies of each system are estimated. The other is the proportional damping model which is used for the finite element method is examined. Coefficients of the model are estimated.departmental bulletin pape

Get PDFP(論文)This interpretative study of J. C. Oates' s "Four Summers" concludes my analysis of all twenty stories in The Wheel of Love. This is the seventh and last study. All the stories were discussed in my previous studies appeared in this bulletin. Oates depicts another story about a young girl, her coming of age and the difficulties when she determines the choice of her partner.
