Fabrication of 3-D printed small solid rocket motoe and performance measurement using smartphone

P(論文)本稿では、慶長期の検地帳等を資料として、雲石国境に位置し、江川水運の拠点のひとつでもあった「町」をもつ浜原集落の景観復原を試みた。浜原では、慶長期の検地の時点で、すでに現在とほぼ同じ範囲に町が広がっていたこと、ある程度計画的な町建てが施されたが、身分や職種による住み分けはおこなわれず、さまざまな階層が混住していたと考えられること、江戸前期における町の指導的立場の者は、中世末期の領主の配下や有縁の者であった例が多くみられたことなどが明らかになった。departmental bulletin pape
Four-wheel steer control corresponding to change in road surface condition by sliding mode control
P(論文)According to the National Police Agency, there has been an increase in the number of automobile crash victims, making it crucial to manufacture vehicles that anybody can drive safely.However, even if such vehicles are available, individuals may still drive dangerously, so methods of reducing driver overconfidence have become necessary. The road surface conditions on the right side of a vehicle may differ from those on the left, and if a vehicle is moving too fast, it may spin out of control. Introduction of Differential Forms by Curves
P(論文)Differential forms are useful mathematical tools in physics and engineerings. Especially, first differential forms (total differentials) play an important role in deriving formulas in electro magnetics, elastic mechanics, fluid dynamics, thermo dynamics and so on. Moreover, differential forms often give simpler expressions for formulas expressed by vector fields, which lead to a deeper understanding of physical phenomena. In mathematics, however, the definition of differentialforms is based on the concept of tangent vectors, which is rather abstract for students of engineering,while the tangent vector can be defined as a certain set of curves. The basic idea of this paper is to define differential forms directly by curves. Examinations for CMOS Pseudo Random Pulse Generation Circuits with Consecutive Identical Digit Generative Function through The Logical Circuit Simulations
P(論文)"Transmission capacity increase equivalent to the product of the wavelength multiplex number and number of the bits per 1 symbol is anticipated by employing wavelength multiplex technique and QAM adaptive modulation technology, together. The number of transmitter-receiver pairs equivalent to the product of the wavelength multiplex number and number of the bits per 1 symbol is become necessary at the same time. In the optical transmission systems, the evaluation by bit error rate performance of the transmitter-receiver pairs including the transmission line is performed not only before installation but also after installation, as necessary. Pseudo random bit sequence (PRBS) generators producing the simulated pattern of the real information signal are used for the transmission side, and bit error rate detectors to measure whether patterns of PRBS through the transmission lines are received without errors, are used for the reception side. For future optical transmission systems, realization of PRBS generators and bit error rate detectors which have economy, built-in the transmission systems, and can evaluate quickly by remote control, will be hoped. The seven-stage PRBS generation circuits which are added consecutive identical digit generative function up to 16 bit, are designed and the operations are confirmed through the logical circuit simulations by PSPICE."departmental bulletin pape
A Survey on the Descriptions of the Subjunctive Mood in the Revised Textbooks for Senior High Schools
P(論文)The subjunctive mood is said to be one of the most difficult grammatical structures to acquire for Japanese learners; and one of the main factors making it difficult is the tense form. This paper clarifies three major points regarding the tense form that make this item hard to acquire, and reports how these points are dealt with in the MEXT-censored textbooks revised in 2012 and 2013. The results of the survey show that these points are not discussed enough in most textbooks.The subjunctive mood will remain difficult unless the instructors supplement those textbooks. This paper proposes that the points to be supplemented are (1) tense form control as the key to expressing something unreal, (2) six forms of clauses to present to the learners, and (3) the rule of ""agreement of tense"" not always applied.departmental bulletin pape
Adaptive Observer Based on Fixed-Point Arithmetic ? Problems on The Implementation of The Proposed Method to Fixed-Point Microprocessors ?
P(論文)In the embedded mechatronic systems, 8-bit or 16-bit fixed-point microprocessors are used for control to meet the requirement of small size, low power consumption, and low cost. Since the rigidity of miniaturized and lightened mechanism becomes low, mechanical vibration occurs at the multiple modes. The vibrational modes are changed by the operational condition. Thus, it is necessary to estimate these vibrational modes in real-time to achieve the damping control. In this series of cooperative research, an adaptive observer based on the delta form was proposed. This paper examines the feasibility of the implementation of this observer to fixed-point microprocessors. As an illustration, first-order-systems are considered. In the case of 8 bit word length, overflow and underflow occurs in this calculation and the adaptive system becomes unstable. In the case of 16 bit word length, the proposed observer can follow the time-varying plant parameters in real-time. P(論文)"At the time of usual, driver steer steering wheels so that the yaw rate may be controlled. In an unexpected case like risk aversion, drivers steer steering wheels so that generating of a lateral acceleration may be suppressed. To control both horizontal acceleration ayand yaw rate γ, new physical value D?is defined by the expression D? = day + (1 ? d)V γ(0 ? d ? 1). Here, d is the weighting function. As an amount of goal states of a vehicle, the D? value which has an alignment engaging a lateral acceleration and a yaw rate defined is inputted. It is a thing of making the amount of real situations of a vehicle follow an ideal value by a control rule. Effects of Temperature and Aging on Performance of A8-3 Model Rocket Engines
P(論文)The effects of temperature and aging on the performance of an A8-3 Estes model rocket engine were investigated.Thrust generated by this engine was measured using a strain gauge force sensor at different initialtemperatures (0, 25, and 35°C). Engine peak thrust and impulse were found to be increasing functions of temperature,with sensitivity coefficients of 0.022 N/K and 0.0054 Ns/K, respectively. The increase in the peak thrust isexplainable by the characteristics of pyrotechnics; however, the increase in the impulse is abnormal. This abnormalitycan be attributed to the increased exhaust gas flow from the delay charge due to the enhanced burning rateof the propellant. The effect of aging was also studied by conducting experiments using 1-, 5-, and 15-year-old A8-3model rocket engines. Impulse variation was small; however, there were large variations in the peak thrusts of theolder engines. These variations can be ascribed to cracks on the propellant surface caused by heat cycles duringlong-term propellant storage.departmental bulletin pape
A Study on the Names in Shakespearean Plays Especially "Romeo and Juliet"
P(論文)Shakespearean playsare made up of vast number of words. I focus on the frequency of the words used in the plays. First,I list up the frequency of the words in "Othello," "King Lear," "As You Like It," and "Midsummer's Night's Dream." And I also list up the frequency of the characters' names in those plays. Second, I made the same research on "Romeo and Juliet." To my surprise, the name `Romeo' is called by many other characters in the play as many as 138 times. This is an incredibly big number. On the other hand, `Juliet' is called only 43 times. What for? I survey the way how and the reasons why the two names are used like that.departmental bulletin pape
