    İnsansız Hava Aracı Kullanarak Toprak Neminin Mısır Tarlası Örneğinde Haritalanması

    Bu çalışma mısır ekili bir parsel örneğinde insansız hava aracı kullanımı, uzaktan algılama ve coğrafi bilgi sistemleri yardımıyla toprak neminin konumsal olarak tahmini amaçlamıştır. Dijital nem ölçer ile toplanan toprak nemi ölçümleri ile İnsanız Hava Aracı (İHA) sistemine entegre bir multispektral sensör kullanılarak üretilen ortomozaik görüntüsü ve de bu görüntüden üretilen vejetasyon indislerinin girdi olarak kullanıldığı çoklu doğrusal regresyon yöntemi ile toprak nemi tahmini gerçekleştirilmiştir. Üretilen sekiz vejetasyon indisi içinden %90 güven aralığına gerçekleştirilen geriye adım çoklu doğrusal regresyon analizi sonucunda önem seviyesinde çıkan kızıl eşik ve yakın kızıl ötesi bantlar ile ARVI, NDVI, kızıl eşik EVI ve kızıl eşik SAVI katmanlarından toprak nemi tahmin denklemi (R2: 0,81) oluşturulmuştur. Elde edilen tahmin denklemi kullanılarak tüm tarla için toprak nemi haritalanmış ve yapılan doğruluk testine göre R2 değeri 0,74 olarak bulunmuştur. Elde edilen sonuç literatürde mısır ürünü için yapılan dünyanın farklı bölgelerinden benzer birkaç çalışma ile yakın doğruluk oranları sergilemekle beraber kullanılan sensör özellikleri, görüntü alım tarihleri ve vejetasyon indis kombinasyonları farklılık göstermektedir. Tüm bu sonuçlar göstermiştir ki uzaktan algılama, coğrafi bilgi sistemleri ve insansız hava aracı teknolojilerinin birlikte kullanılmasıyla çok daha ekonomik ve hızlı bir şekilde toprak neminin konumsal olarak tahmin edilmesi ve haritalanmasını olası hale getirmiştir. Bu durum aynı zamanda daha etkin tarımsal sulama planlamasına da yol açacaktır.</p

    The Correlation between the Compassion and Moral Sensitivities of Nurses during COVID-19 Pandemic COVID-19 Sürecinde Hemşirelerin Merhamet ile Ahlaki Duyarlılıkları Arasındaki İlişki

    Background: Nurses have encountered with care load, different physical, psychological and emotional effects during Covid-19 pandemic. Objectives: This study conducted to investigate the correlation between nurses compassion and moral sensitivities during Covid-19 pandemic. Method: The study was designed in descriptive and correlational type. The study was completed with 713 nurses between January 20 and February 20, 2021 at the Training and Research Hospital, which has been serving as a pandemic hospital for a year. In the study, a questionnaire including data about the socio-demo-graphic and professional characteristics of the nurses and Compassion Scale and Moral Sensitivity Questionnaire were used. The data were collected online. In the analysis of comparative data, Pearson correlation analysis, t-test, one way ANOVA analysis and tests were used. Results: In the study, it was found that the total mean scores of the nurses were 94.45±11.75 for the compassion scale and 76.76±26.91 for the moral sensitivity questionnaire. There was negative correlation between the compassion total score and holistic approach, orientation while positive correlation between the total score and conflict, practice subscales. There was positive correlation moral sensitivity total scale and subscales kindness, common humanity, mindfulness while negative correlation between total score and disengagement. Younger, female, single, childless, getting opinion from patient/relative nurses have high compassion. High school graduate, employed 11 years and above, nurses have high moral sensitivity. Conclusion: It can be said that compassion affects moral sensitivity in positive and negative dimensions during the pandemic process. In this stressful process, it can be suggested to organize trainings to support nurses morally and psychologically and to increase moral sensitivity

    Effects of Different Inspiratory Muscle Training Protocols on Exercise Capacity, Respiratory Muscle Strength, and Health-Related Quality of Life in Patients with Hypertension

    Aim. This study aimed to explore how varying inspiratory muscle training workloads affect exercise capacity, health-related quality of life (HrQoL), depression, peripheral and respiratory muscle strength, pulmonary function, dyspnea, fatigue, and physical activity levels in hypertension (HT) patients. Methods. A randomized, controlled three-arm study. Forty-five patients (58.37 ± 8.53 y, 7F/38M) with HT received IMT (7 days/8 weeks) by POWERbreathe® Classic LR device and were randomized to control group (CG, 10% maximal inspiratory pressure (MIP), n: 15), low-load group (LLG, 30% MIP), and high-load group (HLG, %50 MIP). Exercise capacity, HrQoL, depression, peripheral and respiratory muscle strength, pulmonary function, fatigue, physical activity level, dyspnea, and sleep quality were evaluated before and after the training. Results. Exercise capacity, physical functioning, peripheral muscle strength, and resting dyspnea were statistically significantly improved in HLG and LLG after the training compared to CG p0.05. Statistically significant differences were found within all the groups in terms of MIP and PEF values of respiratory functions p<0.05. The superior improvement in the physical activity level was found in the HLG p<0.05. Discussion. High-load IMT was particularly effective in increasing physical activity level, peripheral muscle strength, exercise capacity, and improved HrQoL. Low-load IMT was effective in reducing dyspnea and improving respiratory function. Device-guided breathing exercises decreased blood pressure, improved sleep quality, and strengthened respiratory muscles. IMT, an efficient method, is suggested for inclusion in rehabilitation programs due to its capacity to increase physical activity, exercise capacity, and peripheral muscle strength, enhance HrQoL and respiratory function, and alleviate dyspnea. Also, the efficacy of IMT should be investigated with different training protocols such as endurance IMT or functional IMT in HT patients
