    EVALUATION OF TELE-MEDICINE APPLICATIONS FROM THE PERSPECTIVE OF HEALTH SERVICE USERS

    Bu araştırma tele-tıp uygulamalarının sağlık hizmeti kullanıcıları açısından değerlendirilmesini amaçlamaktadır. Bu değerlendirme, sağlık hizmeti kullanıcıları için daha etkili ve kullanıcı dostu tele-tıp hizmetlerinin geliştirilmesine katkı sağlayarak, sağlık hizmetlerinin daha geniş kitlelere ulaşmasını ve bu hizmetlerin benimsenmesini destekleyecektir. Özellikle sağlık hizmetlerine erişimde zorluk yaşayan bireyler için büyük önem taşımaktadır. Kahramanmaraş merkezde yapılan bu çalışmada nicel araştırma deseni kullanılmıştır. Kolayda örneklem yöntemi kullanılarak yapılan bu araştırmaya 403 kişi dâhil olmuştur. Araştırmada, “Kişisel Bilgi Formu”, “Sağlık Sektöründe Tele-Tıp Uygulamalarına Bakış Açısı Ölçeği” kullanılmıştır. Likert tarzı hazırlanan ölçek dört boyuttan oluşmaktadır (bilgi kalitesi ve memnuniyet, erişim, etkililik, güven). Ölçeğin Cronbach Alpha değeri 0,969’dur. Veriler SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences) programı ile analiz edilmiştir. Ayrıca analiz yöntemi olarak, verilerin normal dağıldığı tespit edilmesi üzerine, bağımsız gruplarda t testi ve ANOVA analizleri uygulanmıştır. Araştırmanın demografik verilerinin bazıları (cinsiyet, eğitim durumu, medeni durum, çalışma durumu, gelir durumu) ile tele-tıp uygulamaları ortalamaları arsında anlamlı bir fark tespit edilmiştir (p<0,05). Araştırmada kadınların, lise mezunlarının, evli bireylerin, herhangi bir işte çalışmayanların ve gelir durumu düşük olanların tele-tıp uygulamaları değerlendirme puanları daha düşük olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Genel olarak bakıldığında tele-tıp uygulamalarını kullanıcılar arasında orta düzeyde bir değerlendirme puanı aldığını belirlenmiştir.This study aims to evaluate tele-medicine applications from the perspective of healthcare service users. This evaluation will contribute to the development of more effective and user-friendly tele-medicine services for healthcare users and will support the wider reach and adoption of healthcare services. It is of great importance especially for individuals who have difficulty in accessing health services. In this study conducted in the center of Kahramanmaraş, a quantitative research design was used. Using convenience sampling method, 403 people were included in this study. In the study, "Personal Information Form" and "Scale of Perspective on Tele-Medicine Practices in the Health Sector" were used. The Likert-style scale consists of four dimensions (information quality and satisfaction, access, effectiveness and trust). The Cronbach Alpha value of the scale is 0.969. The data were analyzed with SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences) program. In addition, independent samples t-test and ANOVA analyses were applied as the analysis method, as it was determined that the data were normally distributed. A significant difference was found between some of the demographic data (gender, educational status, marital status, employment status, income status) and the averages of tele-medicine practices (p<0.05). In the study, it was determined that women, high school graduates, married individuals, those who do not work in any job and those with low income have lower evaluation scores of tele-medicine applications.     The effect of progressive relaxation exercise on fatigue level of intensive care nurses: A randomised controlled trial

    Objective: The aim of this study is to examine the effect of progressive muscle relaxation exercise on the fatigue level of intensive care nurses. Methods: In this clinical trial, the participants were randomly assigned to the intervention (n = 38) and control (n = 37) groups after obtaining necessary approvals. The nurses in the intervention group applied progressive muscle relaxation every day for 4 weeks, with each session lasting for 15 min. None of the participants in the control group were subjected to any intervention. Data were collected using a questionnaire and the fatigue severity scale (FSS) (the lower the total score, the less the fatigue). The questionnaires were applied at the baseline, and the FSS was applied at the baseline and the end of the first, second, third, and fourth weeks. Results: While the FSS mean scores of the intervention and control groups at baseline were 4.84 ± 1.01 and 5.23 ± 0.96, respectively (p = 0.086), the FSS mean score of the intervention group (3.13 ± 1.58) was significantly lower than the score of the control group (4.12 ± 1.70) at the fourth week (p = 0.011). Also in the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd weeks of the study, the FSS scores of the nurses in intervention group decreased statistically significantly compared to that of the nurses in the control group. Conclusions: This study indicated that a 4-week progressive muscle relaxation intervention alleviated fatigue in intensive care nurses.     Effects of Cd addition to NiTi shape memory alloys on thermal, mechanical and corrosion behaviour

    In this study, it is aimed to investigate the effects of NiTiCd alloy, which is formed by adding Cd element to NiTi shape memory alloys, on some physical and chemical parameters. The chemical compositions (% atomic) of the produced alloys were prepared as Ni48Ti50Cd2 and Ni46Ti50Cd4. Some thermodynamic parameters of these samples were investigated by DSC, structural analysis by SEM-EDX and XRD, hardness by Vickers microhardness method and corrosion behaviour by electrochemical method. The thermal activation energy required for phase transformations of alloys was calculated using the Kissinger and Ozawa methods. The average thermal activation energies obtained from the two methods are 85.76 kJ mol-1 for Ni48Ti50Cd2 SMA and 106.93 kJ mol-1 for Ni46Ti50Cd4 SMA. The XRD and SEM-EDX analyses indicated that the Ti element was the dominant constituent in the precipitate microstructures. It was found that with an increasing amount of cadmium, the microhardness of NiTi alloy decreases. It was calculated that Ni46Ti50Cd4 SMA has the best corrosion resistance compared to Ni48Ti50Cd2 alloys in terms of corrosion analysis
