    Pengolahan Pasca Panen Kopi Arabika dengan Metode Kering (Honey Process) di PT. Sinar Mayang Lestari

    Kopi arabika merupakan jenis kopi yang ditanam di dataran tinggi dan memiliki rasa yang unik (sedikit asam) dibandingkan dengan kopi robusta. Salah satu perusahaan nasional yang melakukan agribisnis kopi berkelanjutan adalah PT. Sinar Mayang Lestari. Produksinya dimulai dari perkebunan (pembudidayaan kopi arabika), pengolahan pasca panen, pengolahan green bean kopi (roasting) hingga pemasaran dengan membuka outlet sendiri (Malabar Mountain Caffe). Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengolahan pasca panen kopi arabika  dengan metode kering (honey process). Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif dengan melalui kegiatan wawancara pakar dan observasi partisipasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa PT. Sinar Mayang Lestari melakukan pengolahan pasca panen kopi arabika dengan honey process yang terdiri dari pemetikan cerry kopi arabika, perambangan (pencucian), pengupasan kulit kopi (pulping), fermentasi spontan dengan sisa mucilage 25% (yellow honey), 50% (red honey) dan 75% (black honey), penjemuran di atas para-para, pengupasan kulit tanduk (hulling), sortasi green bean dan pengemasan. Metode kering khususnya honey process akan menghasilkan rasa kopi yang lebih sweet karena dihasilkan dari fermentasi lendir cerry kopi oleh mikrobia secara spontan

    The increasing consumptive behavior among Generation Z shows the need for an understanding of the factors that influence financial management. This study aims to examine the effect of financial literacy and financial attitudes on financial management behavior, with hedonism lifestyle as a mediating variable. Using a quantitative approach through survey method, this study involved 100 participants from Generation Z workforce in Garut Regency who were selected through accidental sampling technique. Data analysis was conducted using SEM-PLS method. The results showed that financial literacy and financial attitudes have a positive effect on financial management behavior, while hedonic lifestyle has a negative effect. In addition, hedonic lifestyle mediates the relationship between financial attitudes and financial management behavior. The findings confirm the importance of implementing financial literacy education into the school curriculum and job training programs, as well as the need for socialization to regulate consumptive lifestyles in order to foster a younger generation capable of making wise financial decisions

    Tingginya permintaan terhadap sayuran hidroponik merupakan potensi besar sektor pertanian sebagai penopang ekonomi daerah, namun pengembangan usaha hidroponik di Kabupaten Bondowoso tengah dihadapkan pada keterbatasan sumber daya manusia, minimnya promosi, tantangan persaingan, dan kelemahan serta tantangan lainnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merumuskan strategi pengembangan usaha hidroponik yang dijalankan oleh Asosiasi Petani Hidroponik (ASTANIK) di Kabupaten Bondowoso, Jawa Timur. Penelitian ini menggabungkan metode SWOT dan Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) untuk merumuskan strategi pengembangan usaha berdasarkan kondisi lingkungan usaha ASTANIK. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa usaha hidroponik ASTANIK memiliki kekuatan dalam kualitas produk, legalitas usaha, dan efisiensi penggunaan lahan, namun juga menghadapi kelemahan seperti keterbatasan tenaga ahli, promosi yang minim, dan harga produk yang relatif mahal. Peluang strategis seperti loyalitas pelanggan dan perkembangan teknologi pertanian membuka ruang pengembangan yang besar, namun juga dihadapkan pada tantangan berupa cuaca, serangan hama, pesaing, dan tantangan lainnya. Berdasarkan hasil AHP, strategi utama yang direkomendasikan adalah meningkatkan kegiatan pemasaran melalui saluran online dan offline secara terintegrasi. Strategi ini dinilai paling efektif untuk memperluas jangkauan pasar dan memperkuat posisi ASTANIK di tengah meningkatnya tren pertanian berkelanjutan

    Integrating LCA and Carbon Accounting for Gate-to-Gate Sustainability Improvement: Evidence from Liquid Nitrogen Injection in KBR Purifier Unit for Liquid Ammonia Production

    This research combines Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) and Carbon Accounting to quantify sustainability performance improvements in ammonia production. Emphasis is placed on gate-to-gate in the start-up phase of the purifier unit where energy use is high. Typically, start up in ammonia plants is a 20-25 hour long process that consumes large volumes of natural gas and steam resulting in substantial carbon emissions and inefficiency. This statement presents the technology of LIN (Liquid Nitrogen) Injection, which is used to accelerate the cooling process of purifier units at a temperature between −100 to−186 °C, reduces star-up duration by an estimation about 10.56 hours. ISO 14064-1 and SNI 7724:2011 standards were used, a gaseous mass, energy, and emission balance was carried out. Results also indicate that LIN Injection reduces natural gas consumption of 10.92 tons, steam with a factor of 899.56 tons and total energy Mech/ηµ using start-up cycle 592.89 GJ. This is equivalent to 33.3-34.2 tons of CO₂e emission reduction. This process-oriented decarbonization supports the MRV system, which enables carbon credit registration according to Indonesian’s IDX Carbon market framework

    Perancangan Prototype Sistem Manajemen Rekam Medis Konvensional Berbasis Barcode

    The management of conventional medical record files in healthcare facilities often faces challenges related to document tracking, file distribution, and operational inefficiency, which can lead to service delays and compromise data integrity. Similar issues occur at the Islamic Hospital of UNISMA Malang, where medical record files are often unavailable in the archive room, scattered across doctors’ offices, borrowed by other units, or not returned even after treatment is completed. This study aims to design a barcode-based prototype system for managing conventional medical records to address these challenges and enhance management efficiency. The design process adopted a comprehensive prototyping approach, including requirement communication, rapid planning, design modeling (Entity-Relationship Diagram, Use Case Diagram, and Activity Diagram), and the development of an interactive prototype using Figma. The proposed system provides essential functions such as accurate document tracking through barcode scanning for borrowing, returning, and shelving records. It also integrates an internal communication module to facilitate smooth collaboration among medical staff and a Tracer feature to monitor file movements. The prototype shows significant potential to improve tracking efficiency, data accuracy, and inter-unit coordination, ultimately contributing to more effective patient care.Pengelolaan berkas rekam medis konvensional di fasilitas kesehatan sering menghadapi tantangan pelacakan, penyebaran berkas, dan inefisiensi operasional yang tidak terpisahkan, berpotensi menyebabkan keterlambatan layanan dan kompromi integritas data. Hal serupa juga terjadi di RSI UNISMA Malang yang terjadi karena berkas sering kali tidak berada di ruang arsip, melainkan tersebar di berbagai lokasi seperti ruang dokter, dipinjam oleh unit lain, atau belum dikembalikan meskipun proses pengobatan sudah selesai. Penelitian ini bertujuan merancang prototype sistem manajemen rekam medis konvensional berbasis barcode untuk mengatasi masalah ini dan meningkatkan efisiensi pengelolaan berkas. Proses perancangan menggunakan pendekatan prototyping komprehensif, mencakup komunikasi kebutuhan, perencanaan cepat, pemodelan desain cepat (meliputi Entity-Relationship Diagram (ERD), Use Case Diagram, dan Activity Diagram), serta pembuatan prototype interaktif menggunakan Figma. Sistem yang dirancang memperkenalkan fungsionalitas penting seperti pelacakan dokumen yang akurat melalui scan barcode untuk peminjaman, pengembalian, dan penempatan berkas di rak. Selain itu, sistem ini juga mengintegrasikan modul komunikasi internal untuk memfasilitasi kolaborasi tanpa hambatan antar staf medis dan fitur Tracer untuk memantau pergerakan berkas. Prototype ini menunjukkan potensi signifikan dalam meningkatkan efisiensi pelacakan, akurasi data, menyederhanakan koordinasi antar unit, dan pada akhirnya berkontribusi pada layanan pasien yang lebih baik

    Evaluasi Efektivitas Tempat Tidur Tahun 2019-2024 Di Rumah Sakit Pelabuhan Jakarta

    The effectiveness of bed utilization is a key indicator of inpatient service quality. Fluctuations in the number of beds at Pelabuhan Hospital Jakarta from 2019 to 2024 have affected the Bed Occupancy Rate (BOR), which remains below the ideal standard. This study aims to evaluate bed utilization effectiveness during that period using a descriptive quantitative method based on inpatient census data. Results showed that the number of beds in each ward fluctuated, with an average BOR ranging from 37% to 74%. The Turnover Interval (TOI) and Average Length of Stay (AvLOS) were generally within the ideal range, while the Bed Turnover (BTO) tended to be high. Changes in bed numbers had varying effects on BOR: an average increase of 3.8 beds raised BOR by 22.8%, while an increase of 5 beds reduced it by 8.4%. Conversely, reducing 2.6 beds increased BOR by 7.2%, while reducing 2 beds decreased it by 19.3%. Bed procurement was carried out through an official memorandum from the nursing unit to the director based on service trends and needs. Therefore, bed planning should use predictive methods and historical data analysis over a minimum of three to five years.Efektivitas penggunaan tempat tidur merupakan indikator penting dalam menilai mutu pelayanan rawat inap. Fluktuasi jumlah tempat tidur di RS Pelabuhan Jakarta periode 2019-2024 berdampak pada nilai BOR yang masih dibawah standar ideal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas penggunaan tempat tidur di RS Pelabuhan Jakarta dari tahun 2019-2024. Metode yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif deskriptif untuk menggambarkan fenomena pemanfaatan tempat tidur dengan data numerik. Data yang digunakan sebagai populasi berupa data sekunder dari rekapitulasi sensus rawat inap. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan jumlah tempat tidur setiap bangsal mengalami fluktuasi. Rata-rata nilai BOR berada pada kisaran 37%-74%. TOI dan AvLOS mayoritas berada dalam kategori ideal, sedangkan BTO cenderung tinggi. Perubahan jumlah tempat tidur terbukti memberi dampak yang bervariasi terhadap BOR. Penambahan tempat tidur rata-rata 3,8 dapat meningkatkan BOR sebesar 22,8%. Rata-rata penambahan 5 tempat tidur dapat menurunkan BOR sebesar 8,4%. Pengurangan tempat tidur rata-rata 2,6 dapat meningkatkan BOR sebesar 7,2%, sedangkan rata-rata pengurangan 2 tempat tidur dapat menurunkan BOR sebesar 19,3%. Proses pengadaan dilakukan melalui nota dinas dari unit keperawatan kepada direktur dengan prioritas berdasarkan tren dan kebutuhan pelayanan. Oleh karena itu, perencanaan tempat tidur sebaiknya dilakukan dengan metode prediksi dan analisis data historis minimal 3-5 tahun

    Design of an Immunization Information System for Monitoring the Achievement of Child Immunization Coverage

    Immunization is one of the most effective public health interventions in preventing infectious diseases and reducing mortality and morbidity in the global population, with the potential to prevent 3 to 3.5 million deaths each year from vaccine-preventable diseases. In Low- and Middle-Income Countries (LMICs), including Indonesia, vaccination coverage for children under five years old still shows low numbers.  The low vaccination coverage is partly caused by the use of manual recording systems, which leads to delays in decision-making processes in immunization management. This study seeks to address this issue by developing a UI/UX prototype design for a toddler immunization information system. The proposed UI/UX design is equipped with features to monitor and record immunization activities in a particular region in real time, enabling effective, accurate, and integrated decision-making and implementation of immunization programs at both regional and national levels. The UI/UX design was developed using the User-Centered Design (UCD) method, which actively involves users throughout the process. Usability testing was conducted using the System Usability Scale (SUS) method. The results indicate that the designed UI/UX meets the standard requirements of public health centers and achieves satisfactory outcomes from prospective users. The contribution of this research is the proposed UI/UX design for immunization monitoring. In the future, this UI/UX design can serve as a foundation for the development of an Immunization Monitoring Information System

    Ubi jalar kuning dengan varietas benindo merupakan salah satu komoditas yang memiliki nilai jual di pasar ekspor, baik dalam produk segar maupun produk pure. Sortasi dan grading yang dilakukan untuk pemenuhan standar ekspor mengakibatkan adanya produk afkir yang tidak lolos seleksi, sehingga dapat dikembangkan menjadi produk turunan yaitu ice cone. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk megetahui berapa besar harga pokok produksi dan nilai tambah terhadap produk ice cone dengan penambahan tepung ubi jalar manis. Sehingga dari penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan inovasi, informasi, serta masukan untuk dijadikan peluang bagi para pelaku usaha industri pangan. Teknik analisa yang digunakan adalah menggunakan metode Hayami. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengolahan tepung ubi jalar manis sebagai produk ice cone memiliki nilai harga pokok produksi sebesar Rp. 44.914,9 dengan rasio nilai tambah sebesar 78% yang berada pada  indikator >40% . Artinya nilai tambah yang dihasilkan masuk dalam kategori tinggi. Hasil analisis nilai tambah yang tinggi menggambarkan bahwa usaha yang akan dijalankan mampu menciptakan nilai lebih besar dari input atau bahan baku yang dipakai dalam proses produksinya yang artinya berhasil dalam efisiensi dalam mengolah bahan baku sehingga menjadikan output lebih bernilai

    Cigar Waste Control Based on Statistical Process Control (SPC) for Achieving a Green and Sustainable Industry in Jember Regency

    The cigar industry in Jember Regency is recognized as one of Indonesia’s major tobacco production centers, contributing significantly to the regional economy. However, its production process generates substantial waste, including rejected leaves, stems, tobacco dust, and packaging waste, which may pose environmental challenges. This study aims to apply Statistical Process Control (SPC) to monitor and control cigar waste as part of efforts to promote circular economy practices and sustainable industry. A descriptive quantitative method was employed, with data collected through direct observation, structured interviews, and statistical analysis using X-bar, R, and I-MR control charts. Results indicate that most production processes remain within control limits, although special variations were detected in wrapper leaf quality and tobacco moisture content. Process capability analysis revealed that leaf scraps (Cpk = 1.69) met the required standards, whereas defective cigars (Cpk = 0.28) required corrective actions through workforce training and SOP standardization. The cause-and-effect (Ishikawa) diagram identified key contributing factors including manpower, machines, materials, methods, and environment. Findings highlight that implementing SPC not only reduces production costs and improves efficiency but also creates opportunities for utilizing waste into derivative products such as hand-rolled kretek cigarettes (SKT), thereby supporting green industry practices. Thus, SPC can serve as a practical and strategic model for sustainable quality control in Jember’s cigar industry

    Agribusiness Supply Chain Management of “Rainbee”: Apis cerana in Forests of Bondowoso, Indonesia

    In Indonesia, the Apis cerana honey supply chain faces structural challenges, including low producer digital literacy, limited market access, and dependence on intermediaries. The objective of this study is to evaluate the efficacy of the Apis cerana honey distribution supply chain and to establish a digitalisation system that incorporates text notifications and e-commerce to increase farmers’ income. The research employed a survey methodology, utilising primary data collectedthrough questionnaires, interviews, and field observations of honey farmers in Kretek Village, Bondowoso. We calculatedthe marketing margins and the farmer’s share across three distribution channels to determine their efficiency. The results showed that the traditional channel (Channel I) had the highest marketing margin and the lowest farmer’s share. In contrast, the use of e-commerce (Channel III) increased the farmer’s share by more than 40% by eliminating twomarketing institutions: distributors and retailers. The push notification system was effective in accelerating the exchange of information between producers and consumers and encouraging repeat purchases from the same store. This studycontributes to the formulation of an effective and sustainable supply chain model for Apis cerana honey producers, aligned with SDG Target 8 concerning decent labour and economic growth
