Development of Robotics Learning Modules based on IoT and ESP32
This study aims to develop a transporter robot as a learning tool for elementary and secondary school students to introduce them to robotics. The robot features a differential drive system and a lifting arm akin to a forklift system. The robot is controlled using an ESP32 microcontroller and connected to an Android application through a Firebase cloud database. Utilizing an IoT platform, the training can be conducted online, allowing students to control the robot remotely while it remains at the training location. The transporter robot is designed to provide an interactive and hands-on learning experience in robotics, enabling students to grasp fundamental concepts in robotics, programming, and control systems. The differential drive system offers excellent maneuverability, while the lifting arm allows the robot to perform tasks such as lifting and moving objects, adding functional aspects to the learning process. Test results indicate that the robot performs well under online control, with fast and accurate responses to commands from the Android application. The use of Firebase ensures stable and real-time communication between the robot and the application. This implementation not only enhances the accessibility of robotics training but also enables the development of students' STEM skills in a more flexible and affordable manner. The study concludes that an ESP32-based transporter robot with online control via an Android application and Firebase cloud database can be an effective and innovative learning tool. This tool aims to enhance students’ STEM skills -especially in programming, control systems, and mechanical design- through interactive, real-world applications
Aplikasi Jaringan Zigbee pada Sistem Smart Farming menggunakan ESP32-C6
Smart Farming is a trend of agricultural technology that is growing today, by utilizing sensor technology, the farmer’s labor can be more optimal. In addition to the use of sensors, the communication system is an important part of smart farming. Development costs, operational costs, power consumption, and agricultural area itself are also challenges that need to be considered. Zigbee is a communication network that uses mesh topology, in which dedicated routers aren’t necessary to expand the network makes Zigbee suitable for the wide agricultural area. ESP32-C6 is a small microcontroller at a fairly affordable price, with low power consumption, and supports Zigbee networks. Therefore, we focus on the Zigbee network application on the Smart Farming system using the ESP32-C6. From the results of the study, it can be concluded that the Zigbee network on the ESP32-C6 is suitable for smart farming and the ESP32-C6 device can work with moderate signal quality at straight 12 meters with other ESP32-C6 devices without any obstacles.Smart farming adalah tren teknologi pertanian yang semakin berkembang saat ini, dengan memanfaatkan teknologi sensor, kinerja petani bisa lebih optimal. Selain penggunaan sensor, sistem komunikasi menjadi bagian penting dalam implementasi smart farming. Biaya pengembangan, biaya operasional, konsumsi daya, dan kondisi lingkungan pertanian juga menjadi tantangan yang perlu diperhatikan. Zigbee adalah jaringan komunikasi yang menggunakan topologi mesh, sehingga tidak perlu router tambahan untuk memperluas jaringan sehingga cocok untuk lingkungan pertanian yang cenderung luas. ESP32-C6 adalah mikrokontroler kecil dengan harga yang cukup terjangkau, dengan konsumsi daya yang rendah, dan mendukung jaringan Zigbee. Oleh karena itu, kami berfokus pada aplikasi jaringan Zigbee pada sistem smart farming menggunakan ESP32-C6. Dari hasil penelitian tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa jaringan Zigbee pada ESP32-C6 cocok digunakan untuk smart farming dan perangkat ESP32-C6 dapat bekerja dengan kualitas sinyal sedang pada jarak 12 meter dengan perangkat ESP32-C6 yang lain tanpa penghalang
Developing ‘About Us’ and ‘Our Products’ pages for SME Batik’s owned media using applied genre framework
Indonesian government policy on enhancing SMEs to go international needs support, also, from educational sector, as part of pentahelix. Potentials SME batik has and the problem in completing communication channels it is experiencing, this developmental study addresses. By employing design and development research (DDR), this study developed ‘about us’ and ‘our products’ pages by using applied genre as the framework. The pages were then published on owned media in the form of a website. Following ADDIE model as the research procedure, this study focused on the first three stages- analysis, design, and development-as this was an initial stage. The results of ‘about us’ and ‘our products’ pages were validated by two experts: language expert from a vocational higher institution and content expert from industry. The validation results show positive feedback from both experts in terms of relevance, understandability, language, reliability, adequacy, scope, usefulness, and multimodality. It leads to the possibility to apply applied genre not only in teaching language for specific purposes but also in solving SME batik’s business communication problems
Effect of culture media composition on chitin content, nitrogen retention, crude fat digestibility, and growth of mealworms (Tenebrio molitor)
The purpose of this study is to investigate how different culture media compositions affect Tenebrio molitor nutritional value. A Completely randomized design (CRD) including three treatments and six replications was the methodology employed at a significant level of 5%. Duncan's multiple range test (DMRT) was used to analyze the significant differences found. The treatments were T1 (100% CF), T2 (50% CF + 50% TD), and T3 (100% TD), which were various combinations of the commercial feed (CF): tofu dreg (TD). Chitin content, nitrogen retention, crude fat digestibility, feed consumption, weight gain, and feed conversion were the variables that were observed. The results indicated that changes in the culture media's make-up had a significant effect (P<0.01) on the mealworms' chitin content, nitrogen retention, feed consumption, weight gain, and feed conversion. However, there was no discernible change in crude fat digestibility (P>0,05). The best results were fou chitin content 9.61%, nitrogen retention rate 80.89%, a crude fat digestibility rate of 89.48%, feed consumption 264.88 g/1,000 larvae, weight gain 72.12 g/1,000 larvae, and a feed conversion rate 3.68
Pelatihan Inovasi Bidang Pertanian dengan Pemanfaatan Teknologi IoT di SMK Negeri 1 Sigumpar: Agricultural Innovation Training through the Utilization of IoT Technology at SMK Negeri 1 Sigumpar
Pelatihan inovasi bidang pertanian dengan pemanfaatan teknologi Internet of Things (IoT) telah dilaksanakan di SMK Negeri 1 Sigumpar untuk menjawab tantangan adopsi teknologi modern dalam pendidikan kejuruan. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan siswa serta staf pengajar dalam mengimplementasikan IoT, khususnya pada sistem hidroponik otomatis. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi penyuluhan, pelatihan praktis, dan pembangunan sistem hidroponik berbasis IoT yang dilengkapi beberapa sensor sebagai penerima inputan real time terhadap beberapa parameter, seperti suhu, kelembaban, pH dan menggunakan aktuator motor untuk memompa dan mengalirkan air serta larutan nutrisi ke dalam sistem hidroponik. Dalam percobaan yang dilakukan, para siswa mampu menggunakan perangkat IoT untuk memonitor parameter-parameter tersebut dan memonitornya melalui platform Thingspeak. Sistem hidroponik berbasis IoT yang dibangun juga berhasil diintegrasikan sebagai alat pembelajaran interaktif di SMK. Program ini tidak hanya memberikan manfaat edukatif, tetapi juga mendukung pengembangan kurikulum berbasis teknologi. Keberhasilan pelatihan ini menunjukkan potensi besar penerapan IoT untuk meningkatkan efisiensi dan kualitas pendidikan di tingkat kejuruan, terlebih dalam membuka peluang yang cukup krusial dalam menghasilkan tenaga kerja yang kompeten dengan memahami bagaimana perangkat IoT saling terintegrasi
Kapasitas Kelembagaan Kelompok Petani dalam Pengembangan Usaha Kopi Hulu Hilir di Kabupaten Jember: Politeknik Negeri Jember
Jember as one of the largest coffee producers in East Java does not seem to be able to prosper its Jember as one of the largest coffee producers in East Java has not been able to prosper its farmers. This was due to the low level of institutional capacity of farmer groups to carry out their functions and roles in increasing the capacity of farmers in developing upstream and downstream coffee businesses in Jember Regency. This study aims was to describe and analyze the influence of motivation, training activities and group functions both directly and indirectly on the institutional capacity of coffee farmers. The results showed that (1) the motivation of coffee farmers has not reached the good category because the training activities and the materials have not been maximized absorbed by coffee farmers. So, the function of farmer groups has not run well, and the institutional capacity of farmer groups in the development of upstream and downstream coffee businesses in Jember Regency was not high, (2) Motivation does not have a direct significant and also indirect effect on institutional capacity through a group functions was not good. Meanwhile, training activities have a direct or indirect effect on institutional capacity through group functions that was significantly good. The greatest influence on training activities depended on group functioning of coffee businessJember sebagai salah satu produsen kopi terbesar di Jawa Timur belum mampu mensejahterakan petaninya. Hal ini dikarenakan rendahnya tingkat kapasitas kelembagaan kelompok tani untuk menjalankan fungsi dan perannya dalam meningkatkan kapasitas petani dalam mengembangkan usaha hulu dan hilir kopi di Kabupaten Jember. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis pengaruh motivasi, kegiatan pelatihan dan fungsi kelompok baik secara langsung maupun tidak langsung terhadap kapasitas kelembagaan petani kopi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) Motivasi petani kopi belum mencapai kategori baik karena kegiatan pelatihan dan materi belum maksimal diserap oleh petani kopi. Sehingga fungsi kelompok tani belum berjalan dengan baik, dan kapasitas kelembagaan kelompok tani dalam pengembangan usaha hulu dan hilir kopi di Kabupaten Jember tidak tinggi, (2) Motivasi tidak memiliki pengaruh langsung yang signifikan dalam kapasitas institusional dan juga efek tidak langsung pada kapasitas kelembagaan melalui fungsi kelompok. Sementara itu, kegiatan pelatihan memiliki pengaruh langsung atau tidak langsung terhadap kapasitas kelembagaan melalui fungsi kelompok yang sangat baik. Pengaruh terbesar pada kegiatan pelatihan tergantung pada fungsi kelompok bisnis kopi.

Pembuatan Kompor Portable Briket Ampas Tebu Beraroma Kopi dengan Konsep Modifikasi Igniter dan Mini Fan untuk Meningkatkan efektivitas Penggunaannya Dalam Mendukung Kegiatan Praktikum di Laboratorium Manajemen Agroindustri
Penelitian ini berfokus pada pembuatan kompor arang portabel menggunakan limbah tebu dalam bentuk briket, yang dirancang khusus untuk meningkatkan efisiensi dan mengurangi ketergantungan pada bahan bakar fosil. Kompor menggabungkan fitur-fitur seperti igniter dan mini fan untuk meningkatkan pembakaran. Penelitian ini melibatkan trial and error untuk menilai kinerja kompor dengan komponen tambahan. Penelitian ini mengumpulkan data deskriptif melalui umpan balik konsumen menggunakan model Fishbein untuk mengevaluasi sikap pengguna terhadap produk. Penelitian ini mengungkapkan bahwa kompor yang dimodifikasi secara signifikan meningkatkan kegunaan, membuatnya lebih mudah untuk menyala dan mempertahankan pembakaran yang konsisten. Penambahan blower mini meningkatkan efisiensi pembakaran, yang menghasilkan hasil memasak yang lebih baik. Produk ini ramah lingkungan, memanfaatkan bahan limbah, sehingga mengurangi polusi. Dengan menggunakan model Fishbein, penelitian menunjukkan sikap konsumen yang baik terhadap kompor yang dimodifikasi, dengan skor rata-rata 65,03 dibandingkan dengan 53,83 untuk model standar. Atribut utama yang dihargai oleh pengguna termasuk fitur produk dan harga yang kompetitif. Kompor arang yang dimodifikasi diterima dengan baik, menunjukkan potensi penerimaan yang meluas karena fitur inovatifnya, meskipun harganya lebih tinggi dari model standar
The Production Of Bluder Substitute Made Of Psyllium Husk Flour As Fiber-Rich Food To Prevent Constipation
Continuous constipation can cause several diseases such as hemorrhoids, colon cancer, diverticular disease. It is generally characterized by stool which becomes increasingly harder and larger. As a result, this causes lower frequency of defecation. Consuming highly fibrous food sources is one decent measure to address constipation. One ingredient high in fiber is psyllium husk. This study aims to determine the fiber content in bluder made of psyllium husk flour as a bread substitute to prevent constipation. It employed Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 5 treatments (flour and psyllium husk flour), inter alia T1 (87.6% and 12.4%), T2 (86.4% and 13.6%), T3 (85.2% and 14.2%), T4 (84% and 16%), and T5 (82.2% and 17.2% flour), each of which was repeated 5 times. The results showed that T5 has the highest fiber content at 9.85 grams/60 grams. The addition of psyllium husk flour had a significant effect on fiber content and the physical properties of bluder, while the best treatment in this study was T3 (85.2% flour and 14.8% psyllium husk flour). One loaf of bluder weighing 65 grams provides energy content of 228 kcal, 9 grams of protein, 8 grams of fat, 30 grams of carbohydrates, and 4.8 grams of fiber
Study Of The Combination Of Chicken Manure/urea And Watering Volume On The Growth Of Padi Sunggal (Oryza Sativa L.) Plant
The study aims to examine the effects of chicken manure /urea and the volume of water in the growth of the many varieties of rice (oryza sativa). The task is carried out in the Village of Argorejo, sedayu district, l district, Yogyakarta. The design of the experiment used in this study is a Complete Random Design (RAL). Treatment of combination of chicken manure and urea by 80%; 20%; 50%; 50% and 20%; 80%. The volume of water is 300 ml, 600 ml, and 900 ml. Variable observations include plant height, number of wildlings, the weight of wet safes, the weight of dry safes. Analysis of the observations using 5% variant print continued with Duncan's multipe range test (DMRT) at increased 5%. Analysis shows that there is no interaction between the combination of fertilizers and the water-giving. There is a real difference in the treatment of volume of water in the growth variables
Implementation of a Solar-Powered Air Control System in Broiler Chicken Closed House Farming
Closed-house broiler chicken farming enhances productivity and animal welfare by maintaining optimal environmental conditions. However, reliance on grid electricity for air control systems increases operational costs and environmental impact. This study investigates the implementation of a solar-powered air control system to regulate temperature, humidity, and ventilation in closed-house broiler farming. The system integrates photovoltaic (PV) solar panels, energy storage, and a smart control mechanism. The system's performance is evaluated based on energy consumption, solar energy generation, and environmental parameters. Results show the system effectively maintains optimal broiler growth conditions while reducing energy dependence. Energy savings of up to 10% are achieved, leading to lower operational costs and improved sustainability.The findings demonstrate the feasibility of solar-powered solutions in broiler farming, reducing greenhouse gas emissions and enhancing farm resilience. Future work will explore IoT integration for real-time monitoring and further energy optimization
