Efficacy of Ayurvedic Interventions in the management of Post-Viral Arthritis: A Case Study
Introduction: Post-viral arthritis (PVA) is a clinical condition frequently presenting as temporary inflammatory symptoms such as joint pain, stiffness, and swelling, arising in the aftermath of viral infections. According to Acharya Charaka in the Charaka Samhita, post-fever conditions can lead to a Vata-Pradhana Sannipataja condition, causing aggravated Vata Dosha, which results in joint pain, stiffness, heaviness, headaches, and dizziness, along with involvement of Pitta and Kapha Doshas. Objective: The primary objective of this study is to assess the clinical outcomes of Ayurvedic treatments, particularly Panchakarma therapies like Sarwang Patrapinda Swedana and Janu Basti, in the management of post-viral arthritis. Methods: A 37-year-old female patient presented to the outpatient department (OPD) with a history of chikungunya fever 15 days prior. She complained of mild swelling in the lower limbs, accompanied by pain and stiffness in the wrist, knee, and shoulder joints. The patient reported significant difficulty in walking without support due to severe stiffness in bilateral knee joints. For this patient regimen encompassed Panchakarma therapies, including Sarwang Patrapinda Swedana and Janu Basti, along with oral medicine. Results: Substantial improvement was observed in joint mobility, accompanied by notable alleviation of symptoms. After 1month of Ayurvedic treatment, the patient showed significant improvement, with a marked reduction in joint pain, stiffness, and swelling. Conclusion: Ayurvedic interventions, including Panchakarma therapies and Shamana Yog, offer a promising approach to the management of post-viral arthritis by addressing both symptomatic relief and the underlying Doshic imbalances, contributing to enhanced joint mobility and overall well-being

Ayurvedic Intervention on a Manasa Vikara - A Case Study
Introduction: OCD is a co-occurring disorder that co-occurs with other mental health conditions like depression and anxiety. It is typified by intrusive obsession with thoughts without a compulsion, obsessions with contamination that are followed by washing or combined with obsessive avoidance of the allegedly contaminated object, or obsessions with doubt that are followed by a compulsion to check. Ayurveda offers a wide range of treatments that may be beneficial in the treatment of this kind. OCD is comparable to a number of the conditions mentioned in Ayurvedic writings. Ayurveda benefits much from treatment. Through cooperative use of therapy, promising outcomes were demonstrated in an OCD case study. Aim: To study the efficacy of Ayurvedic treatment in the management of OCD. Materials and Methods: A 46-year-old female patient came into the outpatient department (OPD) with a history of frequent hand washing and cleaning, unexplained fear, insomnia, and depression. Palliative care began with dietary restrictions followed by spiritual therapy, and Panchakarma therapy like Shirodhara, which breaks the pathophysiology of OCD. Observations and Results: The patient\u27s unexplained fear subsided, and there was a noticeable improvement in her sleep patterns, reduction in hand washing frequency, and depression. Conclusion: Ayurvedic principles combined with conservative management offer substantial alleviation from unexplained anxiety and panic, trepidation and fear, insomnia, concern, and other related symptoms. Evidence-Based Review of Yoga and Dietary Strategies for Enhancing Quality of Life in PMS Patients
Premenstrual syndrome (PMS) encompasses a wide array of psychological, emotional, and physical symptoms experienced by women during the luteal phase of their menstrual cycle. These symptoms can significantly impair quality of life (QoL). Yoga and dietary interventions have garnered increasing attention as complementary therapies for managing PMS. This review explores the evidence from 2014 to 2024 regarding the effectiveness of yoga and specific dietary strategies in improving PMS-related outcomes and QoL. Forty recent studies were examined, revealing significant improvements in PMS symptoms and QoL through interventions involving Hatha yoga, mindfulness practices, and nutritional supplementation (e.g., calcium, magnesium, vitamin B6, chasteberry). Integrated strategies that combine yoga and dietary modifications demonstrate synergistic effects, suggesting promising holistic approaches for PMS management

Sperm count of less than 15 million sperm / ml is considered as the condition of Oligozoospermia, although this lower limit or the reference limit set by WHO has been considered too low for a lower reference limit because the probability of pregnancy is essentially linear with sperm concentrations up to 40–50 million sperms / ml. Oligozoospermia stands near to the term Ksheena Shukra which is among eight types of Shukradushti mentioned in the classics and is a Vata Pittaja Vyadhi. The word “Kseen-Shukra” is made up of two words. i.e., Ksheena and Shukra. Ksheena is to decrease and Shukra is the 7th Dhatu of body. Ayurvedic Approach to Recurrent Abortions: A Pilot Study on Garbhasrava Management
Recurrent spontaneous abortion (RSA), a distressing condition affecting approximately 1%-2% of women of reproductive age, often lacks a definitive etiology despite extensive investigations. In the realm of Ayurvedic medicine, recurrent miscarriage can be correlated with "Garbhasrava" and "Garbhapata," conditions attributed to Doshic imbalances, particularly involving Vata. This pilot clinical study aimed to evaluate the efficacy of an Ayurvedic polyherbal formulation, TAB-GM, in managing unexplained recurrent abortions. This pilot study aimed to evaluate the role of an Ayurvedic formulation, TAB-GM, in sustaining pregnancy among women with a history of RSA. The study included 9 pregnant women aged 20–35 years, each with a history of two or more consecutive unexplained miscarriages. TAB-GM, a proprietary polyherbal formulation with documented Garbhasthapana, Raktavardhaka, and Rasayana effects, was administered orally at a dose of 500 mg twice daily from confirmation of pregnancy until completion of the fourth month of gestation. Primary outcomes assessed were continuation of pregnancy beyond 20 weeks, maternal health, and safety of the formulation. The results indicated that all 9 participants successfully carried their pregnancies beyond 20 weeks without complications or miscarriage recurrence. The intervention was well-tolerated, with no adverse drug reactions or deviations in hematological and biochemical parameters. These preliminary findings suggest that TAB-GM may be a safe and potentially effective supportive therapy for pregnancy sustenance in women with unexplained RPL. However, further large-scale, randomized controlled trials are needed to validate these outcomes and establish robust clinical guidelines. This study underlines the value of Ayurvedic approaches in managing complex reproductive challenges
