Exploração polifónica do património cultural de Madrid no início do século XX através da narrativa de viagens de autoras latino-americanas
Get PDFThis study explores the interaction between the historical urban landscape and official and hegemonic heritage narratives, based on the experiences of Latin American women writers in early 20th century Madrid. The representation of cultural heritage in travel literature reflects a selection shaped by various influences, ranging from authorised heritage discourses, mediated by prior readings or guided tours, to the writers’ personal interests. Through a Digital Humanities approach, a comparative evaluation of the perceptions of Echeverría, Matto, Camarillo, and Carrasquilla concerning the cultural heritage of Madrid in the first third of the 20th century reveals a polyphonic and dynamic historical account. This analysis highlights the diversity of sensibilities towards European cultural heritage, as well as the divergences among them. The information found in the travel books studied, sometimes intertwined with European traditions yet often marked by a sense of otherness, provides fertile ground for constructing decolonial, inclusive, and plural historical narratives.Este estudo explora a interação entre a paisagem urbana histórica e as narrativas patrimoniais oficiais e hegemónicas, com base nas experiências de escritoras latino-americanas em Madrid, no início do século XX. A representação do património cultural na literatura de viagens reflete uma seleção moldada por diversas influências, desde discursos patrimoniais autorizados, mediados por leituras prévias ou visitas guiadas, até aos interesses pessoais das escritoras. A partir de uma abordagem das Humanidades Digitais, a comparação das perceções de Echeverría, Matto, Camarillo e Carrasquilla sobre o património cultural de Madrid no primeiro terço do século XX revela um relato histórico polifónico e dinâmico. Esta análise destaca a diversidade de sensibilidades em relação ao património cultural europeu, bem como as discordâncias entre elas. If in his work Camões converged with the attempts of the modern period in elevating the names of national heroes in order to bring Portugal to light as a shining country in Europe, then D. Inês de Castro has a prominent place in his work, not only because he is the reason for the love and longing for D. Pedro, but because he is the most emblematic figure in the construction of a Portuguese national identity.No ano em que se comemoram 500 anos de Luís Vaz de Camões, revisita-se o poema Os Lusíadas a fim de ler e contar uma vez mais e até ao fim do mundo a história que “aconteceu da mísera e mesquinha / que depois de morta foi Rainha”, consagrada no Canto III como a Linda Inês. Produção de sentidos sobre o ensino remoto emergencial: um olhar discursivo sobre os documentos norteadores das políticas educacionais no Brasil e em Portugal no período pandêmico
Get PDFThe present study investigates the official discourses inscribed in normative documents produced by Brazil and Portugal during the COVID-19 pandemic, especially those that regulated emergency remote teaching. We prioritize the analysis of how these texts produce meanings about teaching activities amidst confinement, highlighting disputes surrounding continuity, equity, digitalization, and exclusion in the educational field. The research adopts the Pêcheutian, materialist-based Discourse Analysis (DA), founded in the 1960s by Michel Pêcheux, mobilizing concepts such as: conditions of production, subject-form, subject-position, authorial function, discursive memory, and ideological formations. The corpus consists of Decrees-Law, Ordinances, Resolutions, and Opinions. We seek to understand the discursive functioning of these texts and contribute to the expansion of practices for reading and interpreting significant materialities, emphasizing the opacity of language and the subject-positions at stake. In this context, the analysis aims to strengthen the academic debate on educational policies in crisis contexts and on how different nations, even if linguistically and culturally close, produce singular discursivities in their institutional documents.O presente estudo investiga os discursos oficiais inscritos em documentos normativos produzidos pelo Brasil e por Portugal durante a pandemia da COVID-19, em especial os que regulamentaram o ensino remoto emergencial. Priorizamos analisar como esses textos produzem sentidos sobre as atividades de ensino em meio ao confinamento, evidenciando disputas em torno da continuidade, equidade, digitalização e exclusão no campo educacional. A pesquisa adota a Análise de Discurso (AD) de orientação pecheutiana, de base materialista, fundada nos anos 1960 por Michel Pêcheux, mobilizando conceitos como: condições de produção, forma-sujeito, posição-sujeito, função autor(ia), memória discursiva e formações ideológicas. O corpus é composto por Decretos-Lei, Portarias, Resoluções e Pareceres. Buscamos compreender o funcionamento discursivo desses textos e contribuir para a ampliação das práticas de leitura e interpretação de materialidades significantes, ressaltando a opacidade da linguagem e as posições-sujeito em jogo. Nesse horizonte, a análise busca fortalecer o debate acadêmico sobre políticas educacionais em contextos de crise e sobre como diferentes nações, ainda que próximas linguística e culturalmente, produzem discursividades singulares em seus documentos institucionais
