GESTÃO DO VALOR: UMA VISÃO NORMATIVA
Get PDFValue Management, a methodology with maturity and much disseminated worldwide, it's characterized by being very versatile and having various applications. In Europe, this methodology is available in the European standardization system through the Value Management standard and the respective support standards.
The purpose of this article is to highlight the main approaches, benefits, applications and methods, and tools so that professionals and students can obtain an overview of Value Management. To this aim, an analysis of this management system was conducted, highlighting some recognized and tested tools and methods.
Despite the long-standing interest in this subject, Value Management is nowadays more relevant. This methodology allows organizations to adapt to the current context of unpredictability, scarcity of raw materials and increase in prices, ensuring the development of innovative solutions, reinventing and transforming the existing solutions.A Gestão do Valor, metodologia com maturidade e bastante divulgada mundialmente, caracteriza-se por ser muito versátil e ter diversas aplicações. A nível europeu, esta metodologia encontra-se disponível no sistema europeu de normalização através da norma de Gestão do Valor e das respetivas normas de suporte.
Pretende-se, com o presente artigo, destacar as principais abordagens, benefícios, aplicações, métodos e ferramentas, para que profissionais e estudantes obtenham uma visão geral sobre a Gestão do Valor. Para tal, foi realizada uma análise deste sistema de gestão, destacando-se algumas ferramentas e métodos reconhecidos e testados.
Apesar do interesse de longa data por este tema, a Gestão do Valor assume na atualidade uma relevância maior. Esta metodologia permite uma adaptação das organizações ao contexto atual de grande imprevisibilidade, à escassez de matéria-prima e ao aumento de preços, garantindo o desenvolvimento de soluções inovadoras, reinventando e transformando as atuais soluções
LOCALIZAÇÃO E TRADUÇÃO DE PÁGINAS WEB DA MCDONALD’S: ADAPTAÇÃO INTERCULTURAL
Get PDFThis article was written as part of the curricular unit on Localization of Software and Web Pages of the Master's in Translation at the School of Education of the Polytechnic Institute of Bragança. We were interested in reflecting on the need to rethink translations not only from a linguistic perspective, but also from a cultural one, essentially because culture is a fundamental and unique pillar in each nation and absolutely vital to its identity. In this sense, a research focused on the cultural dimension became important, namely by analyzing the McDonalds web pages of each country and the respective perceived cultural adaptations. The analysis was supported by a methodology of a comparative study of the company’s websites, namely in countries on different continents. This analysis was based essentially on the observation and review of the literature that was carried out through a bibliographical research that was guided by a set of criteria previously established with the aim of refining the research. The results presented through a comparative table containing the evaluation criteria, highlight mainly: products; marketing campaigns; multimedia presentation and effects, among others.O mote para o presente artigo enquadrou-se na unidade curricular de Localização de Software e Páginas Web, do Mestrado de Tradução, da Escola Superior de Educação do Instituto Politécnico de Bragança. Interessou-nos refletir sobre a necessidade de repensar as traduções numa lógica não só meramente linguística, mas também cultural, essencialmente porque a cultura é um pilar fundamental e único em cada nação e absolutamente vital à sua identidade. Neste sentido, considerou-se importante uma pesquisa que se focasse na dimensão cultural, designadamente, procedendo à análise das páginas web da McDonalds de cada país e as respetivas adaptações culturais percebidas. A análise foi suportada por uma metodologia de um estudo comparativo dos websites da empresa, designadamente, em países de continentes distintos. Esta análise baseou-se, essencialmente, na observação e revisão da literatura que foi realizada através de uma pesquisa bibliográfica que se orientou por um conjunto de critérios previamente estabelecidos com o objetivo de se refinar a pesquisa. Os resultados, apresentados através de um quadro comparativo contendo os critérios de avaliação, evidenciam principalmente: produtos; campanhas de marketing; apresentação multimédia e efeitos, entre outros
MARIA ALTAMIRA: UMA HISTÓRIA DO DESPEJO NA AMÉRICA LATINA
Get PDFThe present essay brings together the novel Maria Altamira, by Maria José Silveira, and the history of Latin America propelled by colonization. Our goal is to discuss some crucial topics for a historiographic analysis of the continent in the last decades, highlighting the military dictatorships, the planned environmental catastrophes and the eviction of native population, as well as the various resistance strategies taken by marginalized groups. We also aim to analyze how the choice for women as protagonists integrates specific elements in the debates of violence and eviction. Female bodies are submitted to particular forms of abuse which mobilizes an integrated discussion of gender, ethnicity and class. Considering this, we focus on exploring some moments of Latin American literary historiography, targeting comparative analysis that considers literature in its cultural aspects. We thus take Latin America as a concept violently imposed by colonization, but also as a symbol for resistance and as an alternative proposition for the relationship among nations.O presente trabalho propõe aproximações entre o romance de Maria Altamira, de Maria José Silveira, e a história da América Latina, impulsionada pela colonização. Objetivamos tratar de alguns temas fundamentais para a análise historiográfica do continente nas últimas décadas, realçando as ditaduras militares, as catástrofes ambientais planejadas e as expulsões das populações nativas, mas também as diversas estratégias de resistência protagonizadas pelos grupos marginalizados. Avaliamos ainda como a escolha por protagonistas mulheres insere elementos particulares nos temas da violência e do despejo. As formas de abuso a que os corpos femininos estão submetidos mobiliza a integração das questões de gênero, etnia e classe e confirma como a pátria é território para poucos. Nesse ínterim, trataremos de alguns momentos da historiografia literária no continente, sobretudo do interesse em análises comparadas e capazes de ressaltar a potência crítica da literatura. Interessa-nos avaliar como América Latina constitui um conceito violentamente imposto pela colonização, mas também um símbolo de resistência e uma proposta alternativa para a relação entre nações
IDENTIDADES E ESTEREÓTIPOS EM “A HERÓICA CIDADE”, DE MYRIAM CAMPELLO
Get PDFIn order to think about the intersections between literature, history and identity, this article proposes a literary analysis of “The heroic city”, by Myriam Campello (2017). The Brazilian author’s short story intertwines history and fiction based on a metalinguistic and intertextual narrative: the narrator and an interlocutor discuss how the founding of the city of Rio de Janeiro by Estácio de Sá will be told. In this work, we consider how the plane of expression and the plane of content act in the construction of meaning effects of the text which, in turn, contributes to the redefinition of dominant narratives about the arrival of the Portuguese in Brazilian lands and promotes reflections on identity marks and stereotypes. It is also proposed to consider aesthetic and thematic trends in literature in Portuguese, specifically the Brazilian epic of the 19th century, in contrast to contemporary literature. To this end, reference is made to Miguel Real (2012) and Antônio Cândido (2006), both literary thinkers from Portugal and Brazil, respectively, in order to enrich the Lusophone perspective from both perspectives. Campello’s tale, ironic and subversive, presents a reinvention of the canonical 16th and 17th century narratives and even the historical novels that followed them. Within the contemporary narrative, Campelli’s provocations suggest that the reader critically delve deeper into the historical events that intertwine Brazil and Portugal.A fim de pensar sobre as interseções entre literatura, história e identidade, este artigo propõe uma análise literária de “A heróica cidade”, de Myriam Campello (2017). O conto da autora brasileira entretece história e ficção a partir de uma narrativa metalinguística e intertextual: a narradora e um interlocutor discutem sobre como será contada a fundação da cidade do Rio de Janeiro por Estácio de Sá. Neste trabalho, equaciona-se como atuam o plano de expressão e o plano de conteúdo na construção de efeitos de sentido do texto que, por sua vez, contribui para a ressignificação das narrativas dominantes sobre a chegada dos portugueses a terras brasileiras e promove reflexões sobre marcas identitárias e estereótipos. Propõe-se, ainda, considerar tendências estéticas e temáticas na literatura em língua portuguesa, em específico a epopeia brasileira do século XIX, em contraponto com a literatura contemporânea. Para tanto, faz-se referência a Miguel Real (2012) e Antônio Cândido (2006), ambos pensadores literários de Portugal e do Brasil, respetivamente, de forma a enriquecer a perspetiva lusófona a partir das duas óticas. O conto de Campello, irónico e subversivo, apresenta uma reinvenção das canónicas narrativas quinhentistas, seiscentistas e mesmo dos romances históricos que as sucederam. No interior da narrativa contemporânea, as provocações campellianas sugerem que o leitor aprofunde, criticamente, os eventos históricos que entrecruzam Brasil e Portugal

A SOCIALIZAÇÃO FEMININA E A IDEALIZAÇÃO DOS RELACIONAMENTOS: GÊNESE DE FRUSTRAÇÕES, CONFLITOS E VIOLÊNCIAS
Get PDFViolence against women arises from patriarchal culture and involves society and family and intimate relationships. Based on bibliographical research, the article intends to discuss the historical construction of female subordination and the permanence of a culture that, even though it is in the 21st century and, counting on the advances achieved by feminist movements from the 19th century onwards, women are induced to silence and conformity with their secondary roles, in all social spheres of greater recognition. It is verified, through a Brazilian historiographical review and in “invisible” practices, that male domination occurs as naturalized and based on the sexual division of work and care.As violências contra mulheres decorrem da cultura patriarcal e envolvem a sociedade e as relações familiares e de intimidade. Com base em pesquisas bibliográficas, o artigo pretende discutir a construção histórica da subordinação feminina e a permanência de uma cultura que, mesmo estando no século XXI e, contando com os avanços conquistados pelos movimentos feministas a partir do século XIX, as mulheres são induzidas ao silenciamento e ao conformismo com seus papéis secundários, em todas as esferas sociais de maior reconhecimento. Verifica-se, através de revisão historiográfica brasileira e nas práticas “invisíveis” que a dominação masculina ocorre como naturalizada e pautada na divisão sexual de trabalhos e cuidados
