How to develop an inclusive strategy to strive the social stratification of female entrepreneurs
Social stratification affects certain aspects of life, including gender equality in entrepreneurship. This study aims to analyze social stratification between women entrepreneurs who are members of the Melati Women’s Cooperative and non-members in Campurejo Village, Bojonegoro Sub-district, and their impact on their entrepreneurial output. This research uses a quantitative approach with descriptive comparative tests and linear regression analysis. Data were collected through questionnaires from 140 female entrepreneurs. The results show that the social stratification of cooperative member women entrepreneurs, characterized by socioeconomic status, education, wealth, honor, and social interaction, significantly differs from that of the non-member. Cooperative members have better access to resources, business networks, and economic opportunities than non-members. They experience strong solidarity and support among members, helping them overcome business challenges. Non-members face isolation and difficulties competing in the market due to limited access to capital and business networks. This study confirms that cooperative membership can reduce social stratification and enhance women entrepreneurs’ economic empowerment. This study also revealed that social stratification significantly influences entrepreneurial output, with cooperative members showing better business outcomes. These findings are crucial for developing policies that support cooperatives as a mechanism of social mobility for female entrepreneurs with the aim of creating a more inclusive and equitable society.JEL Classification D10; P13; Q1
Penerapan Long Short-Term Memory untuk Klasifikasi Multi-Label Terjemahan Al-Qur’an dalam Bahasa Indonesia
Mempelajari Al-Qur'an adalah salah satu ibadah yang sangat dianjurkan dalam Islam, dan memahami cara mengklasifikasikan ayat-ayatnya sangat penting. Pengelompokan ayat-ayat ini mempermudah pencarian dan mempelajari ayat-ayat terkait, karena setiap ayat dapat termasuk dalam satu atau lebih kategori yang berbeda. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan model klasifikasi multi-label untuk teks terjemahan Al-Qur’an dalam bahasa Indonesia menggunakan Bi-Directional Long Short-Term Memory (Bi-LSTM) dan teknik word embedding Word2Vec dengan arsitektur Continuous Bag of Words (CBOW). Data yang digunakan berasal dari terjemahan resmi Kementerian Agama Republik Indonesia, khususnya dari Surah An-Nisa', Surah Al-Maidah, dan Surah Al-An'am, dengan total 461 ayat. Proses klasifikasi mempertimbangkan empat kategori utama: Tauhid, Ibadah, Akhlaq, dan Sejarah (Tarikh). Model diuji dengan berbagai skenario pembagian data dan dievaluasi menggunakan metrik akurasi, precision, recall, dan Hamming Loss. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa model Bi-LSTM dengan Word2Vec mencapai akurasi 70,21%, precision 64,31%, recall 61,13%, dan Hamming Loss 36,52%. Meskipun menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan, model ini masih menghadapi tantangan dalam mencapai akurasi yang lebih tinggi karena kompleksitas bahasa Al-Qur’an. Penelitian ini menyarankan penggunaan data yang lebih representatif, teknik embedding lain, dan arsitektur model yang lebih canggih untuk perbaikan lebih lanjut. Model ini diharapkan dapat mempermudah pembelajaran dan pemahaman Al-Qur’an secara lebih akurat dan efisien
Enhancing Students Anti-Corruption Competence Through Corruption Prevention Campaigns In Social Media
Anti-corruption education courses were given to tertiary level students in Indonesia as an insertion or independent course to meet the challenge in reducing the number of corruptions from educated citizens. Although it does not guarantee that students will not commit acts of corruption in the future, through this anti-corruption education students are expected to be able to realize and understand behavior that leads to corruption and its consequences; so that students have choices and considerations to not commit acts of corruption. One of the learning methods used in anti-corruption courses is anti-corruption campaigns through social media. This method seeks to accommodate students' preferences for digital media, especially social media, and appreciates students' creativity in translating anti-corruption concepts through the perspective of young people. This study uses the Classroom Action Research (CAR) design by Kemmis and Mc. Taggart which was successfully delivered in 1 cycle consisting of planning, implementation/ acting, observing and reflecting stages. The research was carried out in the odd semester of the 2022/2023 academic year from September to November 2022 with the research subjects were the 5th semester students of the Academic Stage of Nursing Education Study Program consisting of 44 students. The results of the study indicated that learning methods that utilized social media in campaigning against corruption were able to increase students' understanding about corruption, corrupt behavior, anti-corruption values and improve students' abilities in making posters or videos. Cases of physical violence committed by minors continue to occur and increase in Indonesia. One of them was a case of physical violence that befell an elementary school student in Gresik which resulted in permanent blindness due to a meatball stab attack by her senior in one eye. This research is intended to find out about legal protection for minor victims who experience physical violence and how the law in Indonesia regulates the justice of minors who commit criminal acts. By using normative juridical research methods and using secondary data in the form of articles, published news and previous research and using positive law in Indonesia, namely, Law Number 23 of 2002 concerning Child Protection, Law Number 35 of 2014 concerning Amendments to Law Number 23 of 2002 concerning Child Protection, Law Number 11 of 2012 concerning the Juvenile Criminal Justice System. It is hoped that this research will provide comprehensive insight regarding law enforcement efforts and the protection of minors in Indonesia
Content Commodification in the Digital Age : Implications and Challenges
This research aims to explore the phenomenon of content commodification in the digital age, focusing on the economic, social, and cultural implications and challenges faced by content creators and digital platforms. Offers an original contribution to understanding how content commodification impacts various aspects of digital life. By highlighting key implications and challenges, it provides useful insights for content creators, platform managers, and policymakers. A qualitative approach was used in this research, involving in-depth interviews with content creators and policy analysis of digital platforms. Data was also obtained through a review of current literature from the last five years to support the research findings. Research limitations include limitations in sample size and diversity, time constraints, and participant and researcher bias. These limitations affect the generalizability of the results and highlight the need for further research with a wider scope and more diverse methods. The results show that content commodification provides significant economic opportunities for content creators, but also brings challenges such as income instability, copyright issues, and pressure to create viral content. Digital platform algorithms affect the visibility and sustainability of content. Social and cultural implications include changes in consumption patterns and social interactions, as well as cultural diversification influenced by platform algorithms. This research concludes that overcoming the challenges of content commodification requires diversifying sources of income, increasing copyright awareness, and developing fairer algorithms. Cooperation between creators, digital platforms, and policy makers is essential to create a more equitable and sustainable ecosystem in the creative industry and digital economy
PENINGKATAN KOMPETENSI SISWA SMK WIDYAGAMA PADA BIDANG MANUFAKTUR MELALUI PELATIHAN CNC EMCO TU-2A DAN TU-3A
Siswa SMK khsususnya pada SMK Widyagama dengan jurusan Teknik dan bisnis sepeda motor sangat memerlukan skill untuk bisa mengoperasikan mesin-mesin produksi. Di SMK Widyagama sudah dilengkapi dengan mesin-mesin produksi konvensional namun belum memiliki mesin otomatis seperti CNC. Dengan adanya pelatihan CNC ini diharapkan kompetensi siswa akan meningkat yang menunjang jurusan Teknik dan bisnis sepeda motor. Siswa SMK Widyagama jurusan Teknik dan bisnis sepeda motor belum mengetahui cara kerja dan cara mengoperasikan mesin CNC bubut dan milling. Pelaksanaan kegiatan secara umum akan dibagi menjadi dua sesi untuk masing-masing kelompok siswa. Jumlah siswa yang akan mengikuti pengabdian sebanyak 10Â siswa dari jurusan Teknik kendaraan ringan dan bisnis sepeda motor yang diambil dari siswa kelas 1. Sebelum dilaksanakan pelatihan, siswa mengerjakan pretest untuk mengetahui sejauh mana pemahaman siswa terhadap mesin CNC sebelum pelatihan. Setelah pelaksanaan pelatihan, siswa mengerjakan post-test untuk mengetahui pemahaman terkait dasar mesin CNC. Pelatihan pengoperasian mesin CNC EMCO TU-2A dan TU-3A di SMK Widyagama telah berhasil meningkatkan kompetensi siswa dalam bidang manufaktur. OPTIMALISASI PEMANASAN TUNGKU DAPUR KRUSIBEL MELALUI VARIASI KECEPATAN PUTARAN BLOWER TERHADAP LAMA WAKTU PENCAPAIAN TEMPERATUR MAKSIMAL PELEBURAN ALUMINIUM
Salah satu metode pengecoran logam dapat menggunakan dengan metode dapur krusibel (dapur kowi). Dapur ini melebur logam tanpa berhubungan langsung dengan bahan pembakaran tidak langsung (indirect fuel-fired furnance). Permasalahan yang sering terjadi pada pengecoran logam dengan menggunakan metode dapur krusibel adalah laju panas yang belum stabil dalam proses pemanasan pada saat peleburan, hal in menyebabkan bahan bakar yang digunakan sangat boros dan material yang dihasilkan banyak yang cacat. penelitian ini akan memfokuskan pada optimalisasi pemanasan tungku dapur krusibel melalui variasi diameter pipa blower terhadap temperatur maksimal dan lama waktu peleburan aluminium. Dari penelitian ini diharapkan adanya peningkatan performansi pada dapur krusibel pada saat proses pengecoran dan mengurangi cacat hasil produksi. Variabel bebas dalam penelitian ini adalah Kecepatan Putaran blower 1000 rpm, Kecepatan Putaran blower 2000 rpm, Kecepatan Putaran blower 3000 rpm. Hasil dari penelitian ini, antara lain: (1) Penggunaan kecepatan angin yang terbaik dapat menggunakan variasi 1910 rpm yang mampu menghasilkan suhu optimal pada tungku sebesar 760,3 ℃, logam aluminium cair sebesar 730,4 ℃, suhu dinding dalam yang lebih dingin sebesar 518,5 ℃. Suhu dinding luar yang jauh lebih dingin sebesar 57,6 ℃, serta waktu yang lebih singkat dan efisien selama 60 menit. (2) Pemilihan variasi kecepatan angin 1910 rpm lebih optimal dalam melakukan peleburan logam aluminium dibandingkan dengan variasi 2292 rpm, walaupun hanya terpaut lama waktu peleburan 10 menit, tetapi optimalisasi yang terjadi pada logam aluminium cair jauh lebih optimal pada variasi 1910 rpm
Pertumbuhan Dan Hasil Kedelai (Glycine Max L.) Pada Berbagai Dosis Kompos Tandan Kosong Kelapa Sawit Dan Pupuk Kompos Azolla
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pertumbuhan dan hasil kedelai pada berbagai dosis kompos tandan kosong kelapa sawit dan pupuk kompos azolla serta interaksi antara keduanya. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di pembibitan Galeri Hijau Desa Alur Dua Kecamatan Langsa Baro, Kota Langsa Provinsi Aceh. Penelitian ini telah dilakukan mulai bulan Juni sampai September 2023. Penelitian ini disusun dengan menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) faktorial yang terdiri dari 2 faktor, yaitu: faktor dosis pupuk kompos tandan kosong kelapa sawit yang terdiri dari 4 taraf (T0 : Kontrol, T1 : 480 gr/plot, T2 : 720 gr/plot dan T3 : 960 gr/plot), kemudian faktor dosis pupuk kompos azolla yang terdiri dari 4 taraf (A0 : Kontrol, A1 : 240 gr/plot, A2 : 400 gr/plot dan A3 : 640 gr/plot). Parameter yang diamati antara lain tinggi tanaman (umur 14, 28, 42 HST), jumlah cabang produktif, jumlah polong berisi per tanaman, jumlah polong hampa per tanaman, berat biji per tanaman, berat biji per plot, bobot 100 biji, rata-rata potensial hasil ( ton/ha ).Â
PENGARUH SISTEM TANAM DAN JUMLAH BIBIT TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN DAN PRODUKSI TANAMAN PADI GOGO (Oriza sativa L.)
ABSTRAKRendahnya produksi padi gogo disebabkan masih banyaknya yang menanami lahan kering dengan padi gogo varietas lokal yang berumur panjang. Upaya meningkatkan produksi padi gogo dilakukan dengan sistem tanam jajar legowo. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh sistem tanam dan jumlah bibit/lubang tanam terhadap pertumbuhan tanaman padi gogo. Penelitian dilaksanakan di lahan percobaan Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Samudra, Kota Langsa Provinsi Aceh. Penelitian dilakukan bulan November 2022 sampai April 2023. Penelitian disusun menggunakan rancangan acak kelompok (RAK) faktorial yang terdiri dari 2 faktor. Faktor pertama adalah sistem tanam yang terdiri T1 (jajar legowo) dan T2 (Tegel). Faktor kedua adalah jumlah bibit/lubang tanam yang terdiri J1 (1 bibit), J2 (2 bibit) dan J3 (3 bibit). Parameter yang diamati antara lain: tinggi tanaman (cm) dan jumlah anakan yang diamati pada umur 14, 28, 42, 56, 70, dan 84 HST, jumlah anakan produktif, umur keluar malai, panjang malai, umur panen dan produksi/tanaman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa semua interaksi perlakuan sistem tanam dan jumlah bibit/lubang memberikan tinggi tanaman padi yang sama, kecuali penanaman bibit sistem tegel dengan 1 bibit/lubang tanam memiliki tinggi tanaman yang paling rendah. Jumlah anakan terbanyak didapat pada interaksi perlakuan sistem jajar legowo dengan bibit 3 bibit/lubang tanam dan interaksi sistem penanaman secara tegel dengan 3 bibit/lubang tanam, yaitu berturut-turut sebanyak 19.68 dan 17.10. Tetapi interaksi kedua perlakuan tidak berpengaruh nyata pada parameter produksi padi. Masing-masing perlakuan sistem tanam jajar legowo dan 3 bibit/lubang tanam memberikan jumlah anakan produktif (16.04 dan 17.33) dan produksi/tanaman yang paling tinggi (65.54 g/tanaman dan 73.68 g/tanaman). ABSTRACTThe low production of upland rice is due to the fact that many people still plant dry land with local varieties of upland rice that have a long life. Efforts to increase upland rice production are carried out using the jajar legowo planting system. This study aimed to determine the effect of the planting system and the number of seedlings/planting holes on the growth of upland rice plants. The study was conducted in the experimental field of the Faculty of Agriculture, Samudra University, Langsa City, Aceh Province. The study was conducted from November 2022 to April 2023. The study was arranged using a factorial randomized block design (RAK) consisting of 2 factors. The first factor was the planting system consisting of T1 (jajar legowo) and T2 (Tegel). The second factor was the number of seedlings/planting holes consisting of J1 (1 seedling), J2 (2 seedlings) and J3 (3 seedlings). The parameters observed include: plant height (cm) and number of tillers observed at the ages of 14, 28, 42, 56, 70, and 84 HST, number of productive tillers, panicle emergence age, panicle length, harvest age and production/plant. The results showed that all interactions of planting system treatments and the number of seedlings/holes gave the same rice plant height, except for the tile system seedling planting with 1 seedling/planting hole which had the lowest plant height. The highest number of tillers was obtained in the interaction of the jajar legowo system treatment with 3 seedlings/planting hole and the interaction of the tile planting system with 3 seedlings/planting hole, which were 19.68 and 17.10, respectively. However, the interaction of the two treatments did not significantly affect the rice production parameters. Each treatment of the jajar legowo planting system and 3 seedlings/planting hole gave the highest number of productive tillers (16.04 and 17.33) and production/plant (65.54 g/plant and 73.68 g/plant).Â
IDENTIFIKASI METABOLIT PRIMER PADA TANAMAN BLACK SAPOTE (Diospyros dygina)
ABSTRAKBlack sapote (Diospyros dygina) termasuk buah yang baru dikenal masyarakat, disukai dan mulai banyak ditanam. Informasi nutrisi pada black sapote masih terbatas, sehingga penelitian ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi metabolit primer pada daun dan daging buah black sapote yang dikenal sebagai sawo hitam atau kesemek hitam, menggunakan metode SNI 01-2891-1992. Parameter nutrisi yang diamati mencakup kadar air, karbohidrat, lemak total dan protein. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa daun black sapote mengandung kadar air sebesar 58.8%, karbohidrat 1.95%, lemak total 0.72%, dan protein 87.26%. Sementara itu, daging buahnya memiliki kadar air 84.1%, karbohidrat 2.31%, lemak total 0.29%, dan protein 1.05%. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa black sapote memiliki potensi sebagai sumber pangan bernutrisi tinggi dan dapat dimanfaatkan lebih lanjut dalam pengembangan produk olahan serta mendukung pertanian berkelanjutan. ABSTRACKBlack sapote is a fruit that has just become known to the public, is liked and is starting to be widely planted. Nutritional information on black sapote was still limited, so this research aimed to identify primary metabolites in the leaves and flesh of black sapote (Diospyros dygina), known as sawo hitam or black persimmon, using the SNI 01-2891-1992 method. The nutritional parameters observed included water content, carbohydrates, total fat and protein. The analysis results showed that black sapote leaves contain water content of 58.8%, carbohydrates 1.95%, total fat 0.72%, and protein 87.26%. Meanwhile, the flesh of the fruit had water content of 84.1%, carbohydrates 2.31%, total fat 0.29%, and protein 1.05%. These findings indicated that black sapote had potential as a highly nutritious food source and can be further utilized in developing processed products and supporting sustainable agriculture. Â
