    IMPLEMENTASI MANAJEMEN KURIKULUM PESANTREN DALAM MEMBENTUK KARAKTER MANDIRI SANTRI DI PONDOK PESANTREN NURUS SIBYAN AMBAT TLANAKAN PAMEKASAN

    Independent character is something that must be formed and developed in educating. This research is about the implementation of pesantren curriculum management in forming the independent character of santri in the Nurus Shibyan Ambat Tlanakan Pamekasan Islamic Boarding School by using a qualitative approach with descriptive types through interviews, observation and documentation. The results of the study show that: First the management of the pesantren curriculum in shaping the character of the santris' independence is using planning, organizing and evaluating. Secondly, the formation of the independence character in the Nurus Shibyan Islamic boarding school is more for coaching, namely through fostering exemplary, fostering advice or encouragement. Third, supporting factors in forming the independence of santries are team cohesiveness, teacher involvement in forming the character of independence, and santri motivation in training or activities. The inhibiting factors are minimal facilities and infrastructure of Islamic boarding schools, financing factors, and the behavior of santries who are sometimes undisciplined

    IAIN Madura sebagai Lembaga Pendidikan Islam harus senantiasa menegakkan nilai-nilai Islami sesuai dengan visi misinya yaitu religius, kompetitif dan kompeten. Namun nampaknya masih belum maksimal penerapannya terutama bagi mahasiswa di kampus. Hal ini terlihat dari adanya mahasiswa yang kurang mengindahkan aturan Kode Etik mahasiswa seperti penggunaaan busana yang kurang sopan, cara berkomunikasi dengan dosen dan pimpinan yang kurang etis dan lain sebagainya. Persoalannya adalah bagaimana cara Tim Kode Etik yang sudah dibentuk bisa memainkan perannya dalam menyelesaikan masalah moral mahasiswa tersebut, sehingga mahasiswa merasa dimonitoring dan diperhatikan ketika di kampus. Untuk itu peneliti melakukan penelitian melalui pendekatan kualitatif dengan deskriptif analitik, metode pengumpulan datanya menggunakan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Tim Kode Etik memiliki peran yang cukup besar dalam mengawal etika mahasiswa dan moral mahasiswa IAIN Madura agar lebih baik. Tim Kode Etik sebagai pembimbing, dan pengawas serta pembina moral mahasiswa IAIN Madura. Kegiatan pembinaan Kode Etik dilakukan sejak orientasi mahasiswa baru juga ketika proses pembelajaran di kelas, selain itu Tim Kode Etik juga bekerjasama dengan dosen pengajar dan Ka. Prodi untuk memberikan sanksi ketika melihat langsung pelanggaran yang dilakukan oleh mahasiswa ketika di kampus.(IAIN Madura as an Islamic Education institution must always uphold Islamic values in accordance with its vision and mission of religious, competitive and competent. But it seems that the application is still not maximized, especially students on campus. This can be seen from the existence of students who do not heed the rules of the Student Code of Ethics such as the use of clothing that is not polite, how to communicate with lecturers and leaders who are less ethical and so forth. The purpose of this study is to analyze the role of the Code of Ethics Team in solving the students' moral problems, so that students can obey the code of ethics while on campus. The research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive analitik, the type is case study. The results showed that the Code of Ethics Team had a significant role in guarding the ethics and morals of IAIN Madura students to be better. The code of ethics team is a guide, and supervisor and moral guide for students of IAIN Madura. The code of ethics coaching activity has been carried out since the orientation of new students as well as during the learning process in the classroom. In addition, the code of ethics team also cooperates with the teaching lecturer and Head of Office. Study Program to give sanctions when seeing firsthand the violations committed by students while on campus. The existence of the Code of Ethics Team makes students reluctant to commit violations while on campus, because its massive monitoring makes students feel they are always being watched.

    Learning Psychological Overview of Kitab Kuning Teaching Learning (Study on Pondok Pesantren Al-Is’af Kalabaan Guluk-Guluk Madura)

    Pesantren (Islamic boarding school) is the traditional Islamic educational institution. Kiai as the leader of pesantren has an authority in managing, choosing the education system, curriculum (manhaj) that will be used, and also kinds of text books that will be used in teaching and learning process.  Generally, Kiai uses Kitab Kuning (KK, yellow books) also called classical Islamic books, as the material of teaching-learning in pesantren. This paper aims at examining teaching-learning of KK in pesantren. The research method of the study is qualitative . The results of the reseach are that 1) there are levels of learning material KK in line with cognitive development, 2) the pesantren applied the prerequisite knowledge, 3) the pesantren applied the methods of teaching learning, 4) the pesantren applied the tutorial of KK teaching learning.

    The Meaning of Happiness and Religiosity for Pre-Prosperous Family: Study in Manado, Bandar Lampung, and Yogyakarta

    The results of this research (2017) want to explain the correlation between happiness and religiosity for poor families. The locus of this research is in the city of Manado, North Sulawesi Province, Bandar Lampung City, Lampung Province, and Yogyakarta City in Yogyakarta Special Region Province. This research is important because there is an assumption in the community that even poor people who are religious are certainly not happy. This assumption is further answered in this study, where there is a positive and significant relationship between happiness and religiosity in poor families in Yogyakarta, but not for Manado and Bandar Lampung. The highest level of happiness is in the city of Yogyakarta and the highest level of religiosity is in the city of Manado. This difference occurs because the concept of happiness for religious poor families in Manado, Yogyakarta and Bandar Lampung has different point of view and has the unique itself

    Entrepreneurial Interest Determinants of Padangsidimpuan State Institute for Islamic Studies (IAIN) Students

    People assume that entrepreneurship is not a prestigious prefession to pursue. This results the entrepreneurial interest among students or college graduates is still low. This study aims to know the effect of personality, motivation, environment and education variables on the entrepreneurial interest of IAIN Padangsidimpuan students. Entrepreneurial interest variable is a categorical variable, they were the students who have an interest in entrepreneurship (1) and do not/don not have an interest in entrepreneurship (0). Data analysis methode used is logistic regression. The results of logistic regression analysis showed that variables influenced entrepreneurial interest of the students is education.  According to the study results, the recommendation submitted to IAIN Padangsidimpuan is to improve the entrepreneurship education includes promoting the spirit of entrepreneurship through education in the classroom, field work, and seminars

    ANALISIS PENERAPAN INTERNET FINANCIAL REPORTING (IFR) PADA BANK UMUM SYARIAH DI INDONESIA

    [Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis praktik IFR pada BUS di Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik scoring. Data penelitian didapatkan dari website resmi masing-masing BUS berupa keterangan/informasi keuangan dan nonkeuangan yang diamati pada tahun 2020. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata BUS telah berhasil mengungkapkan variabel isi dengan cukup luas. Diketahui, 10 dari 13 bank atau 77% dari sampel penelitian telah berhasil menyajikan item pengungkapan dengan skor 70% - 79,9%. Sementara sisanya mendapatkan skor sebesar 60% - 69.9%. Kurang lebih ada 8 BUS yang berhasil mempertahankan dan meningkatkan skornya dalam variabel ini. Sedangkan untuk variabel tampilan, peringkat pertama diraih oleh BNIS dengan skor 75% atau setara dengan 15 dari 20 item pengungkapan yang diujikan. Sementara, rata-rata BUS telah menggunakan lebih dari 50% item indikator tampilan yang diujikan. Tetapi, masih ada dua BUS yang menggunakan item indikator tampilan di bawah 50%, yaitu BSMI dan BCAS dengan skor 45%. Untuk variabel ketepatwaktuan menunjukkan hasil yang kurang memuaskan. Dimana skor terbesar didapatkan oleh BRIS dengan skor mencapai 36%. Sementara sisanya, hanya mampu mengungkapkan item indikator ketepatwaktuan berkisar antara 9% - 27%.]

    Manifestation of Colonial Discourse and Anthropocentric Outlook in James Michener’s Hawai’i

    One of the foremost developments in literary criticism is the awareness that colonialism results in ecological devastation of the colonies through exploitation of nature. This phenomenon is legitimized through Western anthropocentric paradigm that considers nature merely as commodity to be utilized for humankind's benefit. This paper analyses the underlying Western colonial discourse that rationalizes ecological exploitation in Hawai'i based on the reading on James Michener's Hawai'i. With postcolonial ecocriticism as the framework, the present study focuses on the conflicts that arise between the islanders and the white settlers concerning human and non-human relationships. Western discourse promotes the superiority of their culture based on the privileged position in a binary opposition which is contrasted with the backwardness of the natives. The labelling of certain Hawai'ian traditions as pagan and heathen practice plays a pivotal role in articulating the Western anthropocentric paradigm in which the missionaries function as agent of colonialism. The culmination of Western colonial discourse manifests in the transformation of Hawai'ian landscape for capitalistic enterprise of agriculture and sugar plantation. This event also signifies the commodification in the landscape and centre-periphery relationship which underlines the economical exploitation of the colony

    ISLAMIZATION, SHIA, AND IRAN: The Historical Background of Shia-Iran Sensitive Issues

    After the Syrian civil war broke out in the year 2011, many news outlets around the world have accused the Iranian Shia regime of interfering in the region by means of promoting sectarian violence. The chain of issues can be tracked back to emergence of Iran as an Islamic Republic in 1979 after which many countries including Pakistan and Indonesia feared revolutions like Iran. This resulted in negative perceptions of the Iranian regime. This Research shows that negative perceptions about the current Iranian regime among many Sunnite-Majority countries exist because of past conflicts between the Sunnite and the Shia. Islamization of present-day Iran or Persia in the past along with spread of Islam in Iran by Arabs in the early days of Islam has always caused conflicts between Arabs and Persians e.g. Shiasization of Persia under Shah Ismail I of Safavid Dynasty and atrocities against Sunnis.[Setelah perang saudara Suriah pecah pada tahun 2011, banyak outlet berita di seluruh dunia menuduh rezim Syiah-Iran mencampuri wilayah tersebut dengan cara mempromosikan kekerasan sektarian. Rantai masalah dapat dilacak kembali pada kemunculan Iran sebagai Republik Islam pada tahun 1979 setelah banyak negara, termasuk Pakistan dan Indonesia, takut pada revolusi seperti Iran. Ini menghasilkan persepsi negatif tentang rezim Iran. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa persepsi negatif tentang rezim Iran saat ini di antara banyak negara mayoritas Suni ada karena konflik masa lalu antara Suni dan Syiah. Islamisasi Iran di masa kini atau Persia di masa lalu yang bersamaan dengan penyebaran Islam di Iran oleh orang Arab di masa awal Islam selalu menyebabkan konflik antara orang Arab dan Persia seperti Syiasisasi Persia di bawah Shah Ismail I dari Dinasti Safawi dan kekejaman terhadap orang-orang Suni

    ANALISIS HUBUNGAN COST EFECTIVENESS MAHASISWA PENGHUNI ASRAMA DENGAN PRESTASI BELAJAR

    This study aims to, (1) determine the cost effectiveness analysis of UM dormitory students, who are in the faculties of the State University of Malang (UM); (2) knowing student achievement in UM environment faculties; and (3) knowing the relationship between cost effectiveness analysis of UM dormitory students to study achievement in UM faculties. This research uses a quantitative approach with a descriptive correlational research design. The instrument of this study was to use the Google form survey assistance with respondent are students of UM dormitory in UM environmental faculties. The analysis technique used in this research is descriptive analysis and correlation. The results of this study indicate: (1) the level of cost effectiveness analysis of the occupants of UM student dormitory residing in the faculties of the State University of Malang is classified as a rarity that uses cost effectiveness analysis in managing finances for dormitory and educational needs; (2) the level of learning achievement that is spread in all faculties at the State University of Malang tends to be poor; and (3) the results of the study show that there is a relationship between cost effectiveness analysis of UM student dormitory students on learning achievement

    Pengembangan Baitul Mal wat Tamwil Berbasis Nilai-Nilai Santri

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi peranan nilai-nilai santri yang bersumber dari ajaran Islam dan budaya lokal pesantren dalam meningkatkan etos, semangat dan sikap pengelola BMT UGT Sidogiri. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa agama dapat mempengaruhi tingkah laku seseorang (pattern for behaviour).  Sebagaimana kesimpulan sama yang diberikan oleh Lukman Al-Hakim (2008), Ajaz Ahmed Khan dan Issabel Philips (2010) Warsisto Raharjo Jati (2013), yang menyatakan bahwa agama merupakan refleksi dari tingkah laku serta memberi kesadaran manusia terhadap kegiatan ekonomi. Penelitian  ini  membuahkan  kesimpulan  bahwa BMT  UGT Sidogiri  secara konsisten menerapkan nilai-nilai santri dalam pengembangannya. Nilai-nilai santri yang bersumber dari ajaran agama seperti shiddiq, amanah, tabligh dan fathanah serta yang bersumber dari tradisi kepesantrenan seperti sikap kepatuhan, keikhlasan, kemandirian, kerjasama dan solidaritas sosial, kebersamaan dan silaturrahim, telah menjadi kultur dalam aktifitas sehari-hari di lingkungan BMT UGT Sidogiri. Secara statistik juga menujukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan korelasional sebesar 57,3% antara nilai-nilai santri dengan kinerja karyawan BMT UGT Sidogiri. [This research aims to explore the role of the values of pesantren’s students  sourced from Islam and local culture of pesantren on improving ethos, spirit and attitude of the employees of BMT UGT Sidogiri. This research shows that religion can affect a person's behavior (pattern for behavior). The same conclution was shown by Lukman Al-Hakim (2008), Ajaz Ahmed Khan and Issabel Philips (2010) Warsisto Raharjo Teak (2013), which states that religion is a reflection of the behavior and provide the human consciousness to economic activities. The result of research concludes that the BMT UGT Sidogiri applies the values of pesantren's students consistently. The values of pesantren's students sourced from Islamic values such as Siddiq, trust, tabligh and fathanah and also sourced from traditions of pesantren such us attitude of obedience, sincerity, self-reliance, cooperation and social solidarity, togetherness and silaturrahim, have become a culture in BMT UGT Sidogiri that shown in their daily activities. Statistically also shows that there is correlation about 0,573 percent between values of pesantren's students and BMT UGT Sidogiri employee performance.]
