PERBANDINGAN LAMA PENGERINGAN TERIPANG PASIR (Holothuria scraba) DENGAN ALAT PENGERING HYBRID
A tool hybrid dryer is an innovative a tool created to overcome the problem of drying a product. A dryer is a method used in food technology to extend the shelf life of a product by evaporating most of the water content of the material until it reaches a certain water content using heat energy, thereby inhibiting the rate of damage to the material due to biological, and chemical activity (Hatta et al., 2019). Research that specifically compares the drying time for sand sea cucumbers using a tool hybrid dryer with conventional drying methods. This research aims to compare the drying time for sand sea cucumbers(Holothuria scraba) using a tool hybrid dryer with conventional drying methods under direct sunlight. By carrying out this comparison, it is hoped that we can more clearly understand the effectiveness of the hybrid dryer in increasing the efficiency, and quality of drying sand sea cucumbers. The research method used is a quantitative descriptive method. Hybrid dryers are more efficient than conventional methods. Apart from that, a tool hybrid dryers provide advantages in terms of a relatively fast time. The conclusion is that using a tool hybrid dryer requires the addition of fire to maintain the existing hot temperature so that the drying process can be maximized.
 
SOSIALISASI HIDUP SEHAT SEJAK DINI : EDUKASI ISI PIRINGKU BAGI SISWA KELAS V SD YAYASAN PRAYOGA PADANG
Many children or adolescents still suffer from imbalances in nutritional intake. The Indonesian government, in particular, has created an educational program, "Isi Piringku", to restore the Indonesian people's nutritional intake. One form of government effort is the existence of teaching materials about healthy food for grade 5 elementary school students. This service aims to educate grade 5 elementary school students on "Fill My Plate". The method used in the implementation of this educational service is reflective thinking. The results obtained from this activity were that elementary school students had fairly good basic knowledge regarding healthy types of food but did not know that knowledge was a guideline the government had recommended with the theme of the contents of my plate. Balanced nutrition education activities must be carried out continuously at all levels of society.Anak atau remaja masih banyak yang menderita ketidakseimbangan asupan gizi. Pemerintah Indonesia khususnya telah membuat suatu program edukasi “Isi Piringku” sebagai salah satu upaya pemulihan asupan gizi masyarakat Indonesia. Salah satu bentuk usaha pemerintah adalah adanya materi ajar tentang makanan sehat bagi siswa kelas 5 SD. Tujuan pengabdian ini untuk mengedukasi siswa kelas 5 SD terhadap “Isi Piringku”. Metode yang digunakan dalam pelaksanaan pengabdian edukasi ini adalah reflektif thinking. Hasil yang didapatkan dari kegiatan ini para siswa SD mempunyai pengetahuan dasar yang cukup baik berkenaan dengan jenis makanan sehat namun tidak mengetahui bahwa pengetahuan itu adalah suatu pedoman yang selama ini dianjurkan pemerintah dengan tema isi piringku. Kegiatan edukasi gizi seimbang sangat penting untuk dilaksanakan secara kontiniu ke seluruh lapisan masyarakat
EDUKASI PEMBUATAN DAN DISTRIBUSI HANDSANITIZER DARI DAUN SIRIH KEPADA MASYARAKAT DI DESA HAULASI KECAMATAN MIOMAFFO BARAT
This activity was an education for making and distribution of handsanitizer made from natural ingredients, namely green betel leaf (Piper betle, L.), aloe vera (Aloe vera), lime (Citrus aurantifolia) and perfume to add fragrance to the handsanitizer . This activity was carried out for one day in Haulasi Village, West Miomaffo District, North Central Timor Regency, East Nusa Tenggara Province. Education on how to make and distribute handsanitizer s is carried out by visiting residents' houses door-to-door. The results of this activity were; 1) The community in Haulasi Village, West Miomaffo District, obtained information on how to make their own handsanitizer from natural ingredients. 2) People in Haulasi Village, West Miomaffo District knew how to use handsanitizer and the benefits of handsanitizer . 3) The handsanitizer can be used by the community to maintain hand hygiene to avoid the Covid-19 virus.
Kegiatan ini merupakan edukasi pembuatan dan distribusi handsanitizer yang terbuat dari menggunakan bahan alami yaitu daun sirih hijau (Piper betle, L.), lidah buaya (Aloe vera), jeruk nipis (Citrus aurantifolia) dan parfum untuk menambahkan aroma wangi pada handsanitizer . Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan selama satu hari di Desa Haulasi, Kecamatan Miomaffo Barat, Kabupaten Timor Tengah Utara, Provinsi Nusa Tenggara Timur. Edukasi cara pembuatan dan pembagian handsanitizer dilaksanakan dengan mendatangi rumah warga door-to-door. Hasil dari kegiatan ini; 1) Masyarakat di Desa Haulasi Kecamatan Miomaffo Barat memperoleh informasi tentang cara membuat handsanitizer sendiri dari bahan alami. 2) Masyarakat di Desa Haulasi Kecamatan Miomaffo Barat mengetahui cara menggunakan handsanitizer dan manfaat handsanitizer. 3) Handsanitizer yang dibagikan dapat digunakan oleh masyarakat untuk menjaga kebersihan tangan demi terhidar dari virus Covid-19

Green technology through the implementation of hydroponic-based urban farming as an icon for the Surya Timur sub-district in the Kepulauan Bangka Belitung Province can become a brand awareness activity in order to promote and increase competitiveness so that it becomes a productive area after massive tin mining activities in the area. This activity began with coordination with the Village Head and Chair of the Surya Timur’s PKK in order to ensure readiness to implement the program as driving cadres. Apart from that, this activity involves hydroponic practitioners as assistants in managing hydroponic activities which include sowing, planting, caring for, and harvesting hydroponic commodities. It is hoped that optimizing the sub-district website can become an effective promotional medium in documenting these activities so that they can become a superior profile and be widely known by the public. This is expected to increase the opportunity to obtain competitive grants that can be used to improve the infrastructure of this area to become more productive and free from dependence on tin mining activities which have the potential to damage the area in the future.English
 
PENGEMBANGAN PERKEBUNAN KELAPA SAWIT RAKYAT MELALUI PERATURAN DAERAH NOMOR 19 TAHUN 2017 TENTANG PENATAAN USAHA PERKEBUNAN KELAPA SAWIT DI DESA KOTAWARINGIN KECAMATAN PUDING KABUPATEN BANGKA
Perkebunan kelapa sawit harus dipandang dan ditempatkan sebagai bagian dari mekanisme keberlanjutan ekosistem dalam masyarakat. Hal karena pengembangan perkebunan kelapa sawit di pedesaan telah memberikan dampak besar bagi kesejahteraan masyarakat. Oleh karenanya kajian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan konsep pengembangan perkebunan kelapa sawit rakyat berlandaskan pada Perda Nomor 19 Tahun 2017 Tentang Penataan Usaha Perkebunan Kelapa Sawit. Hasil kajian memperlihatkan bahwa pengembangan perkebunan kelapa sawit rakyat dapat dilakukan melalui 3 pengembangan, yakni pengembangan perkebunan kelapa sawit rakyat berbasis lingkungan, kelestarian sumber air dan infrastruktur, serta pemberdayaan berpola integrasi sawit-sapi. Melihat hal tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa keberadaan Perda Nomor 19 Tahun 2017 Tentang Penataan Perkebunan Kelapa Sawit menjadi penting dalam upaya menciptakan manfaat ekonomi bagi masyarakat yang dilakukan secara legal menurut peraturan perundang-undangan. Dengan demikian, perlu terus dilakukan kegiatan penyebarluasan Perda Nomor 19 Tahun 2017 Tentang Penataan Perkebunan Kelapa Sawit secara masif lagi kepada masyarakat yang ada di seluruh wilayah Kepulauan Bangka Belitung.Oil palm plantations should be viewed and placed as part of ecosystem sustainability mechanisms within communities. This is because the development of oil palm plantations in rural areas has had a major impact on the welfare of the community. Therefore, this study aims to provide the concept of developing smallholder oil palm plantations based on Local Regulation No. 19 of 2017 concerning The Arrangement of Oil Palm Plantation Business. The results of the study show that the development of smallholder oil palm plantations can be carried out through 3 developments, namely the development of environmentally based smallholder oil palm plantations, the sustainability of water sources and infrastructure, and the empowerment of oil palm-cow integration patterns. Seeing this, it can be concluded that the existence of Local Regulation No 19 of 2017 concerning the Arrangement of Oil Palm Plantations is important in an effort to create economic benefits for the community which are carried out legally according to laws and regulations. Thus, it is necessary to continue to disseminate Local Regulation No. 19 of 2017 concerning the Massive Arrangement of Oil Palm Plantations to communities throughout the Bangka Belitung Islands
Analisis Sifat Mekanik Batuan Terhadap Kemampugaruan Bulldozer Dan Kemampugalian Excavator Untuk Mencapai Target Produksi Overburden PT Berau Coal
The research was conducted at Pit Q, PT Berau Coal with the aim of determining the productivity parameters of bulldozer ripping, excavator productivity, and factors affecting ripping activities on sandstone. The results showed that the material in pit q was sandstone which had a ucs value of 6.26 Mpa and a seismic velocity of 1751.63 m/s so the crossripping method was used so that the material was dismantled smaller. Based on ripper productivity, the relationship between the depth of penetration of the shank ripper and the speed of the bulldozer is obtained, productivity of the excavator is smaller if the space used by the ripper increases, so that the size of the material produced will be larger and the digging time of the excavator will increase. The influence of ripper activities is the depth of penetration that affects the speed of the bulldozer, the use of ripping space affects the digging time performance of the excavator too. Factors of the performance of the ripper are trapped material, ripper tip wear, and operator skills
PENGARUH VARIASI TEKANAN KOMPAKSI PANAS TERHADAP DENSITAS DAN KEKERASAN AMC DIPERKUAT SiO2
Penelitian komposit matrik logam aluminium yang diperkuat dengan keramik menggunakan metode metalurgi serbuk akhir-akhir ini semakin banyak diminati untuk dikembangkan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh perbedaan tekanan kompaksi terhadap sifat densitas dan sifat kekerasan komposit yang dihasilkan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah mengikuti tahapan proses metalurgi serbuk, yaitu meliputi persiapan material, pencampuran dan kompaksi. Pencampuran serbuk penyusun komposit dilakukan dengan metode mechanical alloying atau pemaduan mekanik menggunakan mesin horizontal ball mill selama 4 jam. Sedangkan metode kompaksi panas yang digunakan adalah kompaksi dua-arah penekanan, menggunakan mesin pompa hidrolik. Material matriks yang digunakan adalah serbuk aluminium hasil daur ulang, dan material penguat digunakan serbuk dari pasir silika tailing tambang timah. Proses kompaksi panas dilakukan pada suhu 500 0C ditahan selama 15 menit. Variasi tekanan kompaksi dua-arah digunakan 4400 PSi, 4500 PSi dan 4600 Psi. Pengujian densitas mengacu Archimedes dengan stradar ASTM B962-17. Sedangkan pengujian kekerasan digunakan mesin uji kekerasan Brinell, mengacu pada standar ASTM E110-14. Hasil uji densitas dan uji kekerasan menujukkan kecenderungan nilai semakin meningkat dengan meningkatnya tekanan kompaksi yang diaplikasikan. Densitas tertinggi adalah 2,147 g/cm3 untuk sampel dengan kompaksi sebesar 4.600 Psi, dengan nilai kekerasan tertitinggi adalah 53,11 HRB. Berdasarkan foto mikro menunjukkan bahwa ikatan mekanik interlocking pada tekanan kompaksi yang lebih rendah cenderung lemah, patahan pada batas butir kelihatan jelas dan pola kerusakannya cenderung menunjukkan patahan rapuh/getas. Research on aluminum metal matrix composites reinforced with ceramics using powder metallurgy methods has recently been increasingly in demand to be developed. The goals of this study determined the effect of differences in compaction pressure on the density and hardness properties of the resulting composite. The research method used of is following the stages of the powder metallurgy process, which includes material preparation, mixing and compaction. The mixing of the composite constituent powders was carried out using the mechanical alloying method using a horizontal ball mill for 4 hours. While the hot compaction method used is two-way compression compaction, using a hydraulic pump. The matrix material used is recycled aluminum powder, and the reinforcing material is powder from tin mine tailing silica sand. The hot compaction process was carried out at 500 0C and held for 15 minutes. Two-way compacting pressure variations used 4400 Psi, 4500 Psi and 4600 Psi. Density testing refers to Archimedes with the ASTM B962-15 standard. Meanwhile, the hardness test used the Rockwell hardness testing machine, referring to the ASTM E18-15 standard. The results of the density test and hardness test showed a tendency for the value to increase with increasing compaction pressure applied. The highest density was 2.147 g/cm3 for a sample with a compaction of 4,600 Psi, with the highest hardness value being 53,11 HRB. Based on micro-photographs, it shows that the interlocking mechanical bonds at lower compaction pressures tend to be weak, fractures at the grain boundaries are clearly visible and the pattern of damage tends to show brittle/brittle fractures
PENGARUH PERLAKUAN SERAT SABUK KELAPA (SSK)TERHADAP MORFOLOGI DAN SIFAT AKUSTIK KOMPOSIT BERPENGUAT SSK
Penelitian bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh perlakuan SSK dengan asap cair terhadap morfologi dan sifat akustik komposit berpenguat SSK. Metode penelitian berupa metode eksperimental dengan variasi perlakuan serat dengan perendaman asap cair 1, 2, dan 3 jam. Selanjutnya setelah perendaman serat di panaskan pada oven dengan suhu 40ºC selama 30 menit, lalu serat hasil perlakuan dilakukan pengamatan morfologi dengan alat SEM JEOL JCM 6000 lalu di lakukan pembuatan komposit berpenguat SSK untuk pengujian akustik, pembuatan spesimen di lakukan dengan menyiapkan resin dan serat dengan panjang serat 1 cm, komposisi resin 60% dan SBP 40%, setelah mengering lalu dibuat spesimen uji akustik komposit. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan SSK dengan asap cair meningkatkan morfologi serat mejadi kasar dan berpori, sehingga komposit berpenguat SSK memiliki nilai koefisien penyerapan bunyi pada komposit SSK TP sebesar 0.1175 db, sedangkan komposit SSK P1J, P2J, dan P3J sebesar 0.1304, 0.1199, dan 0.1181 db, ini menunjukkan komposit SSK P1J yang lebih baik dalam penyerapan suara sebesar 10.92 % bila di bandingkan dengan SSK TP, sehingga dapat direkomendasikan sebagai material akustik yang ramah lingkungan.The research aims to determine the effect of SSK treatment with liquid smoke on the morphology and acoustic properties of SSK reinforced composites. The research method is an experimental method with variations in fiber treatment by soaking in liquid smoke for 1, 2 and 3 hours. Next, after soaking the fiber, it is heated in an oven at 40ºC for 30 minutes, then the resulting fiber morphology is observed using a JEOL JCM 6000 SEM tool then SSK reinforced composites are made for acoustic testing, specimen making is done by preparing resin and long fibers. 1 cm fiber, 60% resin composition and 40% SBP, after drying a composite acoustic test specimen was made. The results show that SSK treatment with liquid smoke increases the fiber morphology to become rough and porous, so that the SSK reinforced composite has a sound absorption coefficient value for the SSK TP composite of 0.1175 db, while the SSK P1J, P2J, and P3J composites have a sound absorption coefficient value of 0.1304, 0.1199, and 0.1181 db. , this shows that the SSK P1J composite is better in sound absorption by 10.92% when compared with SSK TP, so it can be recommended as an environmentally friendly acoustic material
The Effect of Mol of Rice Water Waste and Kepok Banana Peel to The Growth of Brassica rapa chinensis
MOL merupakan larutan fermentasi oleh mikroba dan bersumber dari bahan organik seperti kulit pisang. MOL berguna dalam mendorong penguraian bahan organik dan dapat digunakan sebagai pupuk organik cair karena mengandung NPK. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk pengaruh fermentasi campuran air cucian beras putih dan kulit pisang kepok terhadap pertumbuhan tanaman pakcoy (Brassica rapa chinensis) dan untuk mengetahui konsentrasi terbaik MOL dari kulit pisang kepok yang diberikan. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 5 perlakuan dan 5 ulangan. Perlakuan pada penelitian ini adalah P0 (kontrol), P1 (10%), P2 (20%), P3 (30%), dan P4 (40%). Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis varians (ANOVA) yang dilanjutkan dengan Uji Duncan pada taraf signifikansi 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa MOL kulit pisang kepok berpengaruh terhadap pertumbuhan tanaman pakcoy pada beberapa parameter yaitu berat basah, berat kering dan panjang akar tanaman namun tidak terhadap tinggi dan jumlah daun tanaman pakcoy. Perlakuan P2 (20%) menunjukkan hasil terbaik.MOL is fermented solution by microbes from organic ingredients such as banana peel. MOL are useful in accelerating the destruction of organic materials and can be used as organic containing NPK fertilizer . This study aims to know the effect of the mixed of rice washing water and banana peel as MOL solution to the growth of pakcoy plants (Brassica rapa chinensis) and the its best concentration. The research design used in this study was a completely randomized design (RAL) consisting of 5 treatments and 5 replications. The treatments in this study were P0 (control) P1 (10%) P2 (20%) P3 (30%) and P4 (40%). The data were analyzed using analysis of variance (ANOVA) and continued with the Duncan/DMRT test (Duncan Multipe Range Test) at a significance level of 5%. The results showed that the MOL of kepok banana peel affects the growth of pakcoy plants on certain parameters, namely wet weight, dry weight and plant root length but not for the height and number of leaves. P2 treatment(20%) showed the best results
Women's Health Empowerment Of Batik Community In Kerek District, Tuban Regency
Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilatari oleh adanya pandemic covid-19 yang sudah berlangsung sejak Bulan Maret 2020, karena penting bagi masyarakat khususnya perempuan yang bekerja sebagai pengrajin batik untuk menjaga kesehatan. Masih banyaknya warga masyarakat dan perempuan komunitas batik yang belum mentaati protokol kesehatan. Hal ini bisa karena belum terbiasa, sehingga merasa tidak nyaman. Untuk itu Prodi S2 Sosiologi Departemen Sosiologi FISIP Universitas Airlangga berinisiatif melakukan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat dengan tujuan untuk memberdayakan perempuan komunitas batik di bidang kesehatan di Kecamatan Kerek, Kabupaten Tuban, Jawa Timur”. Kegiatan pengabdian ini diikuti 50 orang perempuan komunitas bati di Kecamatan Kerek dan bertempat di Desa Gaji. Untuk menghindari terjadinya kerumunan maka kegiatan dilakukan dua sesi dan tiap-tiap sesi diikuti 25 orang. Kegiatan dilakukan dengan metode campuran yaitu daring dan luring. Peserta hadir dan mengeikuti kegiatan di Desa Gaji sedangkan materi diberikan secara daring. Materi yang diberikan adalah pengetahuan tentang virus corona, pencegahan dan penularan covid-19 dan peran keluarga dalam menangani anggota keluarga apabila ada yang sakit. Hasil pengabdian kepada masyarakat menunjukkan bahwa pengetahuan peserta pengabdian mengalami penongkata setelah dilakukan kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat. Hal ni ditunjukkan dari hasil pres-test dan post-test yang dilakukan selama kegiatn tersebut berlangsung.This community service activity is motivated by the Covid-19 pandemic which has been going on since March 2020, because it is important for the community, especially women who work as batik craftsmen, to maintain their health. There are still many community members and women in the batik community who have not complied with the health protocol. This could be because you are not used to it, so you feel uncomfortable. For this reason, the Master of Sociology Study Program, Department of Sociology, FISIP Universitas Airlangga took the initiative to carry out community service activities to empower women in the batik community in the health sector in Kerek District, Tuban Regency, East Java. This service activity was attended by 50 women from the Bati community in Kerek District and took place in Gaji Village. To avoid crowds, the activity was carried out in two sessions and each session was attended by 25 people. Activities are carried out using mixed methods, namely online and offline. Participants attend and take part in activities in Gaji Village while the material is provided online. The material provided is knowledge about the coronavirus, prevention, and transmission of Covid-19, and the role of the family in dealing with family members when someone is sick. The results of the community service show that the knowledge of the service participants experienced a delay after the community service activities were carried out. This is shown from the results of the pre-test and post-test conducted during the activity
