    Belangkas in Indonesian is called mimi which is one of the living fossils than exists today. Studies on belangkas in Indonesia are very rarely carried out and the status of the population is not yet clearly known. Considering that the gourd has very important role in nature and is a protected animal based Minister of Environment and Forestry Regulation number 2 of 2018. The research aims to examines the indentification of types and analysis of the relationship between environmental characteristics and the abundance of the gourd at Tanjung Bay Beach, Central Bangka Regency. Sampling was carried out in July- August 2023 at Tanjung Bay Beach using bottom gillnets. Environmental parameter measurements include temperature, salinity, pH, DO, brightness, current speed and substrate. The results of the research concluded that there were two species of prawns found on Tanjung Bay Beach, Tachypleus gigas  and Carcinoscorpius rotundicauda. The relative abundance of prawns in Tanjung Bay, Central Bangka at station 1 is 50% of the Tachypleus gigas species and 50% of the Carcinoscorpius rotundicauda species. Station 2 is 75% Tachypleus gigas species and 25 % Carcinoscorpius rotundicauda species. Station 3 is 47,61 %  Tachypleus gigas species and 52,38% Carcinoscorpius rotundicauda species.     This study aims to elaborate on the urgency of establishing People's Mining Areas (WPR) in the governance of tin mining in Bangka Belitung post the centralization of mining authority. Utilizing a juridical-normative research method and a statutory approach, this study examines the reality of das sein with the relevance of das sollen to find legal gaps and replicate strategic solutions. The analysis results in this study indicate that the issuance of Law No. 3 of 2020 and Presidential Regulation No. 55 of 2022 has explicitly separated the central and regional government authorities. One of the regional authorities is in the field of People's Mining License (IPR). Although the IPR mechanism has been regulated since Law No. 4 of 2009, its implementation is still imbalanced and not efficient in Bangka Belitung. From 2009-2020, the number of illegal tin miners continued to increase, while the number of IPRs utilized remained very limited. This condition has not changed significantly from the period 1998-2009 when illegal tin mining began to encroach. Therefore, by delegating the IPR back to the regions, the government needs to prepare mechanisms to optimize mining governance, including through the establishment of WPRs which become the basic condition for granting IPRs

    Batu Belubang Fish Landing Base (PPI) is one of the PPI in Central Bangka whose fishery business activities are still running today. However, local fishermen still lack information about the protection status and lack of data on the status of these fish species. The lack of data makes fishermen overfisher. Therefore, this study was conducted to identify the species of fish landed at PPI Batu Belubang, classify the fishing gear used by Batu Belubang fishermen and determine the conservation status of the species of fish landed. Data collection will be carried out in March-April 2023 at Batu Belubang PPI. This study used survey and observation methods with qualitative descriptive data analysis. The results showed that there were 12 families identified, namely Carangidae, Clupeidae, Engraulidae, Scombridae, Sphyraenidae, Terapontidae, Ariidae, Leiognathidae, Nemipteridae, Siganidae, Synodontidae and Loligonidae. The classification of fishing gear used by fishermen is lift nets (boat charts and floating charts) and fishing rods. Conservation status based on IUCN found 12 species classified as Least Concern, one species Near Threatened, two species Data Deficient and four species Not Evaluated. Based on the results, it can be concluded that the sustainability of fisheries, especially endangered species, requires management by relevant stakeholders such as socialization from  fisheries extension workers regarding conservation status and species of fish that are already endangered.Pangkalan Pendaratan Ikan (PPI) Batu Belubang merupakan salah satu PPI di Bangka Tengah yang kegiatan usaha perikanan masih berjalan hingga saat ini. Namun, nelayan sekitar masih kurang mengetahui informasi tentang status perlindungan dan kurangnya data tentang status jenis ikan tersebut. Minimnya data tersebut menjadikan nelayan melakukan penangkapan yang berlebihan. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengidentifikasi jenis ikan yang didaratkan di PPI Batu Belubang, mengklasifikasi alat tangkap yang digunakan nelayan Batu Belubang dan mengetahui status konservasi jenis ikan yang didaratkan. Pengambilan data dilakukan pada bulan Maret-April 2023 di PPI Batu Belubang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survei dan observasi dengan analisis data secara deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat 12 famili yang teridentifikasi, yaitu Carangidae, Clupeidae, Engraulidae, Scombridae, Sphyraenidae, Terapontidae, Ariidae, Leiognathidae, Nemipteridae, Siganidae, Synodontidae dan Loligonidae. Klasifikasi alat tangkap yang digunakan nelayan yaitu jaring angkat (bagan perahu dan bagan apung) dan pancing. Status konservasi berdasarkan IUCN ditemukan sebanyak 12 spesies tergolong Least Concern, satu spesies Near Threatened, dua spesies Data Deficient dan empat spesies lainnya Not Evaluated. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa keberlanjutan perikanan khususnya spesies yang terancam punah memerlukan pengelolaan oleh pemangku kepentingan terkait seperti dilakukannya sosialisasi dari penyuluh perikanan mengenai status konservasi dan jenis-jenis ikan yang sudah terancam punah

    In beach tourism development, the decision-making process via the web is a valuable tool that can provide several alternatives for decision-making planners in beach tourism development. The aim of this research is to develop the implementation of a decision support system for selecting WebGIS-based beach tourist attractions in South Lampung Regency. This research is research with the concept of Research and Development, the data used in this research is primary data obtained from field observations and secondary data obtained from the government. Data was obtained through observation and documentation studies from 30 beaches in South Lampung Regency, then processed using the Simple Additive Weighting method. The research results show that bio-physical and managerial factors are the factors that have the most influence on the results of this weighting and are the most dominant supporting alternatives for selecting beach tourist attractions in South Lampung Regency. The recommended beach tourism in South Lampung based on the highest weighting value is Pasir Putih Beach which is the highest ranked, followed by Tapak Kera Beach. Supporting factors such as bio-physical factors, socio-economic factors and managerial factors can be used as primary considerations for beach tourism managers and local governments should continue to develop and innovate in using Simple Addivite Weigting, because the method is much more practical and effective in determining object recommendations beach tourism for tourists.Proses pengambilan keputusan melalui web merupakan alat berharga yang dapat memberikan beberapa alternatif bagi perencana pengambilan keputusan di pengembangan pariwisata pantai. Tujuan penelitian  adalah mengembangkan pelaksanaan sistem pendukung keputusan untuk pemilihan tempat wisata pantai berbasis WebGIS di Kabupaten Lampung Selatan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dengan konsep Research and Development. Data diperoleh melalui observasi dan studi dokumentasi dari 30 pantai di Kabupaten Lampung Selatan dan diolah menggunakan metode Simple Additive Weighting. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor biofisik dan manajerial merupakan faktor yang paling berpengaruh terhadap hasil pembobotan ini dan alternatif pendukung paling dominan untuk pemilihan tempat wisata pantai di Kabupaten Lampung Selatan. Wisata pantai di Lampung Selatan yang rekomendasi dengan melihat nilai bobot tertinggi adalah Pantai Pasir Putih yang merupakan peringkat tertinggi, kemudian peringkat terakhir adalah Pulau Sebesi. Faktor pendukung seperti faktor biofisik, faktor sosial ekonomi dan faktor manajerial dapat dijadikan pertimbangan utama bagi para pengelola wisata pantai serta pemerintah daerah hendaknya terus mengembangkan dan berinovasi dalam menggunakan Simple Addivite Weigting, karena metode jauh lebih praktis dan efektif dalam menentukan rekomendasi objek wisata pantai kepada para wisatawan

    Synthesis of Cellulose Acetate From Coil Waste (Borassus flabellifer L) Using Delignification Time Variations

    Synthesis of cellulose acetate form palm coir (Borassus flabellifer L) waste has been synthesized by varying the time in the delignification process. This study aimed to determine the characteristics of cellulose acetate form palm coir waste (Borassus flabellifer L) and the optimum time for the delignification process. This research was conducted in several stages: sample preparation, cellulose isolation (delignification and bleaching process), and synthesis of cellulose acetate (activation, acetylation, and hydrolysis process). The cellulose acetate obtained was then charatecrized by testing for water content, acetyl content, and degree of substitution and functional grup analysis using a fourier transform infra-red (FTIR) spectrophotometer. In the delignification process, variations of the delignification time were usesd, namely 60, 90, 120, and 150 minutes. Form the results of the study, the characteristics of cellulose acetate in palm coir were optained, namely water content of 0.95%‒2.16%, acetyl content of 37.19%‒40.85%, degree of substitution of 2.2‒2.6 and identification of functional groups using FTIR showed that there was a typical absorption of cellulose acetate on the carbonyl group (C=O) and the ester group (C-O acetyl). The results of variations in the time of the delignification process showed that the optimum reaction time was 120 minutes with the yield of cellulose acetate produced at 254.4%, water content 2.16%, acetyl content 40.85%, degree of substitution (DS) 2.6. the cellulose acetate produced belongs to the type of cellulose diacetate, which can be further utilized in manufacturing threads, membranes, adhesives of films, and mask filters

    The Ulu River is one of the rivers in the Bangka Belitung Islands Province, located in the Tanjung Village area, Muntok District, West Bangka Regency. The Ulu River has Murky and brown waters due to the influence of human activities such as household waste disposal. Therefore, this research aims to analyze the water quality Status of the Ulu Muntok River. The research was conducted in March And April 2024. The sampling method use purposive sampling in the Ulu Muntok River 2 times. Sample processing was analyzed at the Fisheries Laboratory for Aquatic Resources Management and the Biology Laboratory at Bangka Belitung University as well as at the UPTD Environmental Laboratory DLHK Bangka Belitung Islands Province. Analysis of water quality status is calculated using the STORET method. The results obtained for physical, chemical and biological parameters using the storet method, namely temperature, pH, Nitrate, Total Phosphate, TSS, BOD, COD, and total coliform are still below the class III quality standard threshold according to the designation, while DO has exceeded the quality standard threshold water thus getting a score of -10 with lightly polluted status. The results obtained at station I and station II were the same with a score of -10. This shows that the water quality status of the Ulu Muntok River is lightly polluted and is intended to comply with class III water quality standards, this is indicated by murky waters and low water claritySungai Ulu merupakan salah satu sungai yang ada di Provinsi Kepulauan Bangka Belitung, terletak di daerah Kelurahan Tanjung Kecamatan Muntok Kabupaten Bangka Barat. Sungai Ulu memiliki kondisi perairan yang keruh dan berwarna cokelat disebabkan pengaruh dari adanya aktivitas manusia seperti pembuangan limbah rumah tangga, dan pembuangan limbah industri. Oleh karena itu, penelitan ini bertujuan untuk menganalis status mutu air Sungai Ulu Muntok. Penelitian dilakukan pada bulan Maret dan bulan April 2024. Metode pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling di Sungai Ulu Muntok sebanyak 2 kali pengulangan. Pengolahan sampel dianalisis di Laboratorium Perikanan Manajemen Sumberdaya Perairan dan Laboratorium Biologi Universitas Bangka Belitung serta di UPTD Laboratorium Lingkungan DLHK Provinsi Kepulauan Bangka Belitung. Analisis status mutu air dihitung menggunakan metode STORET. Hasil yang didapatkan untuk parameter fisika, kimia dan biologi menggunakan metode storet yaitu suhu, pH, Nitrat, Total Fosfat,TSS, BOD, COD, dan total coliform masih dibawah ambang baku mutu kelas III sesuai dengan peruntukkan, sedangkan DO sudah melebihi ambang baku mutu air sehingga mendapatkan skor -10 dengan status tercemar ringan. Hasil yang diperoleh pada stasiun I dan statsiun II didapatkan hasil yang sama dengan nilai skor -10. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa status mutu air Sungai Ulu Muntok tercemar ringan yang diperuntukkan sesuai dengan baku mutu air kelas III, hal ini ditunjukkan dengan perairan yang keruh dan kecerahan air yang rendah

    Children's play areas that exceed the Noise Limit Value (NTV) can cause hearing health problems, including physiological and communication disorders. Therefore, this study aims to evaluate the noise level at one of the X children's playgrounds in Palangka Raya City which is busy with visitors. This research is important for playground owners to create a safe and comfortable environment for visitors. Noise levels are measured using a sound level meter which is then analyzed to determine the average noise value at each data collection point. Based on the analysis carried out, it shows that the average noise value at children's playground X in Palangka Raya City on weekdays is 79.52 dBA, while on holidays it reaches 81.76 dBA. This value exceeds the threshold recommended by the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Indonesian Ministry of Health for recreational areas which should be in the range of 70 dB.     PENINGKATAN KESEJAHTERAAN PEREKONOMIAN MASYARAKAT MELALUI LABELISASI BER-BAHASA INGGRIS

    Desa Blimbing Kecamatan Boja Kabupaten Kendal merupakan salah satu desa wisata yang mayoritas penduduknya adalah pemilik UMKM salah satunya adalah UMKM tape ketan. Tape ketan merupakan makanan tradisional khas Indonesia yang unik dan harus dikembangkan dan diperkenalkan lebih luas baik secara nasional dan internasional karena berbagai manfaat terkandung didalamnya. Berdasarkan hasil observasi yang telah dilakukan oleh tim pengabdian, terdapat kendala yang dihadapi oleh produsen tape ketan ini yaitu kurangnya pemasaran produk secara luas dan keterbatasan dalam modal usaha. Dari kendala tersebut tim pengabdian dari program studi Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris UPGRIS memberikan solusi dengan cara labelisasi produk ber-Bahasa Inggris yang unik dan kreatif agar produk tape ketan dikenal oleh masyarakat sampai level internasional. Pembuatan merk, labelisasi dan pengemasan produk ber-Bahasa Inggris, serta eksplorasi manfaat dan khasiat produk menjadi materi utama tim pengabdian yang dilakukan dalam tiga tahap yaitu, pelatihan, pendampingan, dan evaluasi. Hasil yang didapat setelah melalui tahapan tersebut adalah desain label yang telah memiliki merk dan telah direalisasikan dalam pengemasan produk tape. Semua produk labelisasi tersebut dalam bahasa Inggris. Hasil kerja dievaluasi dan feedback dari narasumber adalah sangat baik, dari sisi penggunaan istilah, penepatan kata, dan deskripsi produk.Blimbing Village, Boja District, Kendal Regency is a tourist village where most of the population own small and medium micro enterprises (UMKM), one of which is fermented sticky rice (tape ketan) UMKM. Tape Ketan is a unique traditional Indonesian food that should be developed and introduced more widely nationally and internationally because of its various benefits. Based on the observations made by the PKM team, Tape Ketan producers face obstacles, namely the need for widespread product marketing and limited business capital. From these obstacles, the PKM team from the English Education Study Program UPGRIS provided a solution employing unique and creative product labeling in English so that sticky rice tape products are known to the public internationally. Creating brands, labeling and packaging products in English, and exploring the benefits and efficacy of products are the primary materials for the team, which is carried out in three stages: training, mentoring, and evaluation. The result obtained after going through these stages is a label design that has a brand and has been realized in packaging tape products. All product labeling is in English. The work results were evaluated, and the feedback from the practitioner was excellent in terms of term usage, wording, and product descriptions

    Geological activity in the Sunda Strait received attention through the tsunami that occurred at the end of 2018 and the tectonic earthquake in the Sunda Strait subduction zone with Magnitude 6.9 on August 2, 2019. These conditions raise concerns about the threat of earthquake and tsunami disasters in the surrounding area. Tanggamus Regency, which is located within a fairly close radius to the Sunda Strait, has a very wide tsunami-prone lowland, especially in the area around the tip of Teluk Semangka. Based on these conditions, this research generally aims to map evacuation service areas, map evacuation times, and analyze effective evacuation models. To answer these challenges, this research was conducted following several methodological stages. It started with defining the study area using spatial analysis, digitizing the road network and interlinking it with the Network Analysys tool on the ArcGIS platform. Based on the observation, it was found that the most at-risk areas are those that have the farthest distance from the Temporary Evacuation Site (TES) location when traveled without a vehicle. Each region has a TES location that can be reached using the available roadways. There are 3 sub-districts that have a travel time of more than 30 minutes to reach the TES, namely, Semaka sub-district, Wonosobo sub-district and Kota Agung Barat sub-district. It is expected that the results of this study can be one of the considerations in tsunami disaster mitigation efforts in Tanggamus Regency.Aktivitas geologis di Selat Sunda mendapat perhatian melalui tsunami yang terjadi pada akhir tahun 2018 dan gempa tektonik di zona subduksi Selat Sunda dengan Magnitude 6.9 pada 2 Agustus 2019. Kondisi ini menimbulkan kekhawatiran tentang ancaman bencana gempa dan tsunami di daerah sekitarnya. Kabupaten Tanggamus yang terletak dalam radius yang cukup dekat dengan Selat Sunda memiliki dataran rendah rawan tsunami yang sangat luas khususnya pada wilayah di sekitar ujung Teluk Semangka. Berdasarkan kondisi tersebut, penelitian ini secara umum bertujuan untuk memetakan wilayah layanan evakuasi, memetakan waktu evakuasi, dan menganalisis model evakuasi yang efektif. Untuk menjawab tantangan tersebut, penelitian ini dilakukan dengan mengikuti beberapa tahapan metodologi. Diawali dari penetapan wilayah studi menggunakan analisis spasial, digitasi jaringan jalan dan mengintergasikannya dengan tools Network Analys pada platform ArcGIS. Berdasarkan hasil pengamatan ditemukan bahwa wilayah yang paling beresiko adalah yang memiliki jarak terjauh dari lokasi Tempat Evakuasi Sementara (TES) apabila ditempuh tanpa kendaraan. Setiap wilayah memiliki lokasi TES yang dapat ditempuh menggunakan jalur jalan yang tersedia. Terdapat 3 kecamatan yang memiliki waktu tempuh lebih dari 30 menit untuk mencapai TES yaitu, Kecamatan Semaka, Kecamatan Wonosobo dan Kecamatan Kota Agung Barat. Diharapkan hasil penelitian ini dapat menjadi salah satu bahan pertimbangan dalam upaya mitigasi bencana tsunami di Kabupaten Tanggamus
