    PENDIDIKAN KONSERVASI SEBAGAI BENTUK BELA NEGARA DI KAWASAN GILI AIR, GILI MENO, DAN GILI TRAWANGAN KABUPATEN LOMBOK UTARA

    Gili Matra is very famous for its underwater natural beauty in the form of coral reefs, seagrasses, reef fish, mangroves, turtles and others. However, this beauty is threatened by various irresponsible human activities that cause environmental damage. Environmental damage occurs due to the increase in the number of tourists in Gili Matra. The increase in the number of tourists is causing serious damage, such as damaged coral reefs and plastic waste piling up. Community Service (PKM) uses the lecture and question and answer method. The results of this PKM are: 1) Lecturers and students of STP Mataram realize the importance of conservation education which is part of efforts to defend the country and is an important step in maintaining environmental sustainability in the Gili Matra area. 2) The knowledge of STP Mataram students and lecturers about conservation, the impact of human activities on the environment, and marine ecosystems such as coral reefs, seagrass, marine fish and others has increased significantly. In conclusion, conservation education as a form of national defense in Gili Matra requires continuous efforts to increase public understanding so that the natural beauty of this island can continue to be maintained and support sustainable tourism.Gili Matra sangat terkenal dengan keindahan alam bawah lautnya berupa terumbu karang, lamun, ikan karang, mangrove, penyu, dan lain-lain. Namun, keindahan tersebut terancam oleh berbagai aktivitas manusia yang tidak bertanggung jawab sehingga menyebabkan kerusakan lingkungan. Kerusakan lingkungan terjadi karena peningkatan jumlah wisatawan di Gili Matra. Peningkatan jumlah wisatawan menyebabkan kerusakan yang serius, seperti terumbu karang yang rusak dan sampah plastik yang menumpuk. Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini menggunakan metode ceramah dan tanya jawab. Hasil PKM ini yaitu: 1) Dosen dan mahasiswa (STP) Mataram menyadari pentingnya pendidikan konservasi yang merupakan bagian dari upaya bela negara dan merupakan langkah penting dalam menjaga kelestarian lingkungan di kawasan Gili Matra. 2) Pengetahuan mahasiswa dan dosen STP Mataram tentang konservasi, dampak aktivitas manusia terhadap lingkungan, dan ekosistem laut seperti terumbu karang, lamun, ikan laut dan yang lainnya meningkat secara signifikan. Kesimpulannya, pendidikan konservasi sebagai bentuk bela negara di Gili Matra memerlukan upaya berkelanjutan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman masyarakat agar keindahan alam pulau ini dapat terus terjaga dan mendukung pariwisata berkelanjutan

    Plastics have experienced a rapid increase in production over the last 70 years. Initially, in 1950, the world only produced 2 million tons, and now production is more than 450 million tons. Around a quarter of plastic waste is thrown away and needs to be appropriately managed, namely around 82 million tons. In other words, the waste is not disposed of in a proper disposal site, not recycled or burned. This research underwent several stages: literature study, data collection, extruder design, machine element calculations, analysis and discussion. Six types of materials will be used as objects for selecting extruder materials, including SS 410, SS 422, AISI 4140, AISI 4340, AISI 1144, and AISI 1045. Planning is carried out on the machine elements so that von Misses stress and deflection values ​​are obtained to determine the appropriate values. Extruder design planning. It was concluded that the highest Von Misses Stress value was obtained for all materials with variations in material length and width, namely 700 and 45 mm. The higher the length and diameter dimensions, the higher the von Misses stress value. The highest deflection value was obtained on Stainless Steel 410 material with variations in length and width of the material, namely 700 and 45 mm. The higher the length dimension of a material, the higher the deflection value.Plastik telah mengalami peningkatan produksi yang pesat selama 70 tahun terakhir. Awalnya pada tahun 1950 dunia hanya memprodukksi 2 juta ton dan sekarang produksinya lebih dari 450 juta ton. Kurang lebih sekitar seperempat sampah plastik dibuang begitu saja dan tidak dikelola dengan baik yaitu Sekitar 82 juta ton. Dengan kata lain sampah tersebut tidak dibuang ditempat pembuangan yang baik, tidak di daur ulang ataupun dibakar. Penelitian ini melalui beberapa tahapan yaitu studi literatur, pengumpulan data, desain extruder, perhitungan elemen mesin, analisis dan pembahasan. Terdapat enam jenis material yang akan dijadikan objek pemilihan bahan extruder diantaranya SS 410, SS 422, AISI 4140, AISI 4340, AISI 1144, dan AISI 1045. Dilakukan perencanaan pada elemen mesin sehingga didapatkan nilai von misses stress dan deflection untuk menentukan nilai yang sesuai dengan perencanaan desain extruder. Diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa Nilai Von Misses Stress tertinggi diperoleh pada material seluruh material dengan variasi panjang dan lebar material yaitu 700 dan 45 mm. Semakin tinggi dimensi panjang dan diameter, memberikan nilai von misses stress yang tinggi pula. Serta nilai deflection tertinggi diperoleh pada material Stainless Steel 410 dengan variasi panjang dan lebar material yaitu 700 dan 45 mm.     Water quality in the form of turbidity, colour, odour, taste and suspended residue are significant issues in Sungsang Banyuasin. The filter utilizes a filtration method to remove solid particles and contaminants. The research site consists of Sungsang, Sungsang II, and Sungsang III areas. The purpose of this study was to determine the water quality in the form of colour, taste, odour, turbidity, suspended residue, and salinity, as well as the ability of the filter to overcome water quality. Filtration consists of sedimentation, filter membranes, and filter media consisting of zeolite, silica, anthracite, ferrolite, activated carbon, and bioring. Water quality measurements used organoleptic to determine odour and taste, handrefractometer to measure salinity, direct reading to measure suspended residue, and spectrophotometry to measure colour and turbidity. The breech water was odourless and tasteless, and the suspended residue value ranged from 17-19 mg/L below the quality standard of 50 mg/L. Colour and turbidity values are greater than 50 on their respective scales and salinity values range from 11-13 ppt. Filtrasi terdiri dari sedimentasi, membran filter, serta media filter yang terdiri dari zeolite, silika, antrasit, ferrolite, karbon aktif, dan bioring. Pengukuran kualitas air menggunakan organoleptik untuk mengetahui bau dan rasa, handrefraktometer untuk mengukur salinitas, direct reading untuk mengukur residu tersuspensi, serta spektrofotometri mengukur warna dan kekeruhan. Air sungsang tidak berbau dan tidak berasa, serta nilai residu tersuspensi rentang nilai 17–19 mg/L dibawah baku mutu 50 mg/L.     This article explains a community service activity in the form of training for creating creative learning content using Canva to improve the quality of education through the utilization of educational technology. The activity used a socialization method covering account creation, content creation, and content presentation via Canva. This was followed by a discussion method involving a Q&A session with participants who were school teachers. The activity took place at SMAN 16 in Tangerang Regency. This community service is expected to enhance teachers' abilities to create effective and creative learning materials, thereby aiding students' understanding during the teaching and learning process at school.Artikel ini memuat kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat berupa pelatihan pembuatan konten pembelajaran kreatif melalui Canva untuk meningkatkan mutu pendidikan melalui pemanfaatan teknologi pendidikan. Kegiatan dilakukan dengan metode sosialisasi seputar pembuatan akun, pembuatan konten, dan penyajian konten melalui Canva.     The research location chosen was the Air Rikai ex-mining land, which is an alluvial ex-mining land within the IUP of PT Timah Tbk. The negative impact that arises from mining is in the form of land damage. This research aims to overcome damage and also ensure that reclamation activities can be carried out well. The method used in this research is a quantitative method. The data taken is in the form of soil samples, soil pH and water pH data, topographic data (x,y,z coordinates) and bathymetric data for the depth of the pit. The results of data processing and analysis show that the condition of the land to be reclaimed has an area of 13 Ha and is divided into 2, namely voids with a total area of 1.57 Ha and land area of 11.43 Ha. Land use is carried out by stockpiling overburden with a required volume of overburden of 35,511.54 m³. Land leveling with a volume of pushed soil of 35,280 m³. Arrangement of the edge of the pit with a volume of soil moved of 230.29 m³. Construction of drainage channels with an excavation volume of 214.59 m³. Installation of concrete buis type culverts with dimensions of 50 x 50 cm and a length of 50 cm. In the revegetation, 1,517 oil palm trees were planted, then 463 sea cypress trees were planted along the underside and LCC seeds to help loosen the soil.     Estimasi Sumberdaya Andesit dan Breksi Piroklastik Sebagai Bahan Konstruksi PT. Tepat Guna Referindo Lombok Timur

    Estimate of andesite and pyroclastic breccia resources at PT Tepat Guna Reforindo has been carried out. Which is an area with potential for non-metallic mining materials. This research was carried out using the Civil 3D Gridding method. One of the non-metallic minerals found in East Lombok district is andesite rock and pyroclastic breccia. The research was carried out using petrological analysis methods to obtain rock types and estimate the availability of minerals and sieve analysis to obtain density values at the research location. Based on the results of petrological analysis, it shows that the sample is a type of andesite rock and also breccia. However, the presence of all samples is dominated by andesite rock samples which are abundant in 95% of the exploration area. Based on the results estimation of andesite rock resources from geological modeling and calculations using the Civil 3D Gridding method from A-B at an elevation of 100-40 meters above sea level, it was found that the measured resource of andesite rock units had a volume of 492,638.108 m3 and resource of pyroclastic breccia rock units had a volume of 738,957.162 m3, results of the analysis of the average rock density of 2.74 g/cm3, then the tonnage of the andesite unit is 1,302,781.480 tons and the pyroclastic breccia tonnage is 1,998,879.120 tons

    Mesin konversi energi merupakan mesin yang merubah suata energi menjadi energi yang lain. Pemanfaatan energi yang dihasilkan oleh mesin konversi energi dapat digunakan untuk menggerakkan mesin konversi energi yang lainnya. Penelitian ini membuat modul mesin konversi energi bertingkat dengan metode regeneratif energi, dimana energi listrik dari sel surya digunakan untuk menggerakkan pompa, debit air yang dihasilkan pompa digunakan untuk menggerakan generator untuk menghasilkan energi listrik, dimana energi ini digunakan untuk menggerakan motor listrik pada kipas angin. Pembuatan modul ini meliputi perancangan, pembuatan dan perkitan. Pengujian dilakukan 30 menit pada masing-masing mesin konversi energi, dimana sel surya menghasilkan tegangan rata-rata sebesar 20,9 V, pompa menghasilkan debit air rata-rata 3,53 l/m, dan tegengan yang dihasilkan oleh generator sebesar 12 V, sedangkan kecepatan udara yang dihasilkan oleh kipas angin rata-rata sebesar 22,8 m/s

    Medicinal plants are the main element in the local medicine system in Karas District, Fakfak Regency. This is closely related to the culture and traditional knowledge of the community. This study aims to identify the species of medicinal plants used by Traditional Medicine Practitioners (TMP) An ethnobotanical survey was conducted to collect information from Traditional Medicine Practitioners from January to February 2023. The research method used by interviewing six informants who had information about the use of medicinal plants. The results showed that there were 57 species of medicinal plants from 35 families that had been used to treat 39 types of diseases. The most used plan part by TMP is leaf (19%) Boiling is the most commonly used processing method. Medicinal plants with the highest use value used by TMP are Andrographis paniculata, Annona muricata, Momordica charantia, Terminalia catappa, Jatropha curcas, Spatholobus littoralis, Piper betle, Cymbopogon citratus, Citrus aurantifolia, Curcuma longa, dan Zingiber officinale with a UV value = 1.00. The category of circulatory system is the most treated disease category with an ICF value of 0.8. Medicinal plants with the highest percentage accuracy value are Andrographis paniculata, Annona muricata, Momordica charantia, Terminalia catappa, Jatropha curcas, Spatholobus littoralis, Piper betle, Cymbopogon citratus, Citrus aurantifolia, Curcuma longa, dan Zingiber officinale with FL = 100%. Hal ini berhubungan erat dengan kebudayaan dan pengetahuan tradisional masyarakat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi jenis-jenis tumbuhan obat secara tradisional oleh Praktisi Obat Tradisional (POT). Survei etnobotani dilakukan untuk mengumpulkan informasi dari Praktisi Obat Tradisional (POT) dari bulan Januari sampai Februari 2023. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah wawancara terhadap enam informan yang memiliki informasi mengenai pemanfaatan tumbuhan obat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat 57 jenis tumbuhan obat dari 35 Famili yang mengobati sebanyak 39 jenis penyakit. Daun (19%) merupakan bagian tumbuhan yang paling banyak digunakan oleh POT dengan status asal pekarangan rumah. Direbus adalah cara pengolahan yang paling umum digunakan. Tumbuhan obat dengan nilai guna paling tinggi yang digunakan oleh POT adalah Andrographis paniculata, Annona muricata, Momordica charantia, Terminalia catappa, Jatropha curcas, Spatholobus littoralis, Piper betle, Cymbopogon citratus, Citrus aurantifolia, Curcuma longa, dan Zingiber officinale dengan nilai UV=1.00. Kategori penyakit sisem sirkulasi merupakan kategori penyakit paling banyak diobati dengan nilai ICF=0.8.     FISH-BASED MSME DEVELOPMENT STRATEGY IN PATIN VILLAGE BELITANG DISTRICT EAST OKU REGENCY

    Kampung Patin memiliki potensi yang besar untuk terus dikembangkan sebagai sentra olahan ikan patin dan pengembangan UMKM berbasis ikan di Kabupaten OKU Timur.  Ikan patin merupakan sumber daya perikanan yang banyak tersedia di Kabupaten OKU Timur dan saat ini menjadi sumber pendapatan masyarakat OKU Timur selain berusahatani padi dan karet.  Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis strategi yang dapat dirumuskan dan diterapkan di UMKM berbasis ikan di Kampung Patin Kecamatan Belitang Kabupaten OKU Timur. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Kecamatan Belitang Kabupaten OKU Timur di sentra olahan ikan patin (Kampung Patin) pada bulan September 2023. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode survey dan metode penarikan contoh menggunakan metode purposive sampling, dimana UMKM Poklahsar  Barokah di Desa Sukosari dan Poklahsar Sari Patin Desa Triyoso sebagai sentra olahan ikan patin di Kecamatan Belitang Kabupaten OKU Timur dipilih sebagai sampel.  Analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis SWOT. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi pengembangan usaha yang dapat dikembangkan di  Kabupaten OKU Timur adalah meningkatkan promosi dengan menggunakan media sosial yang ada untuk mengenalkan produk, menjaga loyalitas konsumen dengan memberikan pelayanan maksimal, menjalankan kerjasama dengan agen distributor yang potensial untuk menambah pangsa pasar, membangun atau menyewa tempat produksi di tempat yang lebih strategis dan menjaga intensitas pendamping kelompok dalam mengawasi kelompok guna meningkatkan pengetahuan tentang sistem manajemen strategi            dan pemasaran produk.  Patin Village has great potential to continue to be developed as a center for processing catfish and developing fish-based MSMEs in East OKU Regency. Patin fish is a fishery resource that is widely available in East OKU Regency and is currently a source of income for the East OKU community apart from rice and rubber farming. This research aims to analyze strategies that can be formulated and implemented in fish-based MSMEs in Patin Village, Belitang District, East OKU Regency. The research was carried out in Belitang District, East OKU Regency at the catfish processing center (Kampung Patin) in September 2023. The research method used was the survey method and the sampling method used the purposive sampling method, where Poklahsar Barokah MSMEs in Sukosari Village and Poklahsar Sari Patin Village Triyoso as a center for processing catfish in Belitang District, East OKU Regency was chosen as a sample. The data analysis used in this research is SWOT analysis. The results of the research show that business development strategies that can be developed in East OKU Regency are increasing promotions by using existing social media to introduce products, maintaining consumer loyalty by providing maximum service, collaborating with potential distributor agents to increase market share, building or renting place production in a more strategic location and maintain the intensity of group assistants in supervising the group to increase knowledge about strategic management systems and product marketing

    A REVIEW: FACILE AND GREEN SYNTHESIS OF MARINE MACROALGAE AND ITS PHOTOCATALYTIC PERFORMANCE ON POLLUTED WATER REMEDIATION

    This review critically examines the burgeoning field of research focused on the environmentally benign synthesis of metallic nanoparticles exploiting the unique properties and diverse array of marine macroalgae species. Harnessing macroalgal biomolecules as reductants and stabilizers, numerous findings have discovered the biosynthesis of silver, gold, iron oxide, zinc oxide, and other nanoparticles through a sustainable "phycosynthesis" technique without toxic chemicals. Extensively characterized for their morphologies and properties, these algae-mediated nanoparticles exhibit notable photocatalytic activities in degrading various organic dyes and pollutants. Particularly, over 90% degradation efficiency has been achieved for dyes like methylene blue, methyl orange, and rhodamine B utilizing nanoparticles produced from macroalgae such as Sargassum horneri, Syringodium isoetifolium and Ulva lactuca. The mechanism is hypothesized to involve photoexcitation generating reactive oxidative species on the nanoparticle surface that rapidly cleave dye molecules. Improved understanding of the roles of macroalgal biomolecules and optimization of synthesis conditions may enable enhanced catalytic performances. With their widespread availability and biodiversity remaining largely untapped, marine macroalgae prove promising as renewable resources for developing eco-friendly water remediation technologies through metal/metal oxide nanocatalyst design
