Analisis Kuat Tekan Dan Penyerapan Air Menggunakan Pasir Tailing Timah Dan Kaolin
The environmental damage resulting from mining not only eliminates soil fertility but changes the landscape of the existing ecosystem and produces waste such as tailings and kaolin and understory. The results of tin and kaolin tailings mining have not been utilized optimally. This research aims to analyze the effect of using tin tailings sand and kaolin on bricks which produces compressive strength and water absorption in accordance with standards. The method used is to take tin and kaolin tailings mixed with clay with a predetermined composition and tested in the laboratory. Based on the test results, the compressive strength value obtained meets the standards, namely the percentage of 15% tin tailings sand and 10% kaolin, the compressive strength value is 5,150 Mpa. The water absorption value using percentages of 5%, 10% and 15% tin tailings sand and 10% kaolin has met the specified standards
Optimasi Desain Geometri Lereng Material Old Dump Pada Usaha Penggalian Ulang Pit X PT. Bukit Asam Tbk
In doing slope design, it is necessary to pay attention to slope geometry and soil shear strength. Determination of slope geometry design also considers the balance between height and slope and production benefits. Research was conducted to analyze slope stability through physical and mechanical properties testing, limit equilibrium, and probabilistic Monte Carlo methods. The surface area of the Overburden stripping area in the 2024 RKP design is 8,172.79 m2. The production target is 2,000,000 tons of coal with a volume of overburden material that must be stripped of 29,000,000 BCM and obtained a Stripping Ratio value of 14.5. The results of the evaluation of the overall slope of the Old Dump material with an overall slope height of 66.582 m, a slope width of 447.69 m, an overall slope of 8.32˚ and a bench width of 25 m, a bench height of 6 m with a comparison ratio of 1:3 and a single slope angle of 18.43˚. Then the redesign was carried out and obtained recommendation results of 64.799 m overall slope height, 303.33 m slope width, 13.02˚ overall slope, and 25 m bench width, bench height at elevation 131-110 of 8 m with a comparison ratio of 1:2, single slope 26.57˚ and at elevation 110-50 of 8 m with a comparison ratio of 1:1.5, single slope 33.69˚
SOCIO-ECONOMIC PERFORMA OF PADDY FARMERS AT SWAMPLAND AREA IN ADOPTION OF IP 200 RICE PLANTING SYSTEM TECHNOLOGY IN PALEMBANG CITY
Peningkatan indeks pertanaman (IP) padi dapat menyumbang peningkatan produksi beras dan ketahanan pangan. Intensitas pertanaman padi pada sawah lebak saat ini masih satu kali setahun, meski IP 200 telah 6 tahun diintroduksi, sehingga diperlukan analisis identifikasi dan perbandingan keragaan sosial dan ekonomi petani yang menerapkan IP 200. Metode penarikan contoh yang digunakan adalah Disproportionated Stratified Random Sampling, dimana tingkat stratifikasi diwakili oleh 17 petani yang menerapkan inovasi teknologi sistem tanam padi IP 200 dan 17 petani yang tidak menerapkan. Analisis data dengan menggunakan analisis usahatani dan analisis resiko usaha. Hasil analisis data yakni rasionalitas sosial umur, pendidikan, jumlah anggota keluarga dan asal daerah tidak berbeda, sedangkan variable pengalaman petani dapat berpengaruh pada semangat petani untuk menerapkan, variabel status petani sebagai penggarap, serangan hama,keaktifan penyuluhan, dan motivasi lebih tinggi pada petani yang menerapkan IP 200. Performa ekonomi pada variabel luas lahan sangat mempengaruhi produksi dan penerimaan sehingga membantu permodalan petani untuk menerapkan IP200.Increasing the rice planting index (IP) can contribute to increasing rice production and food security. The intensity of rice planting in Lebak rice fields is currently still once a year, even though IP200 has been introduced for 6 years, so identification and comparison analysis of the social and economic performance of farmers who apply IP200 is needed. The sampling method used was Disproportionated Stratified Random Sampling, where the level of stratification was represented by 17 farmers who implemented the IP200 rice planting system technology innovation and 17 farmers who did not. Data analysis using farming analysis and business risk analysis. The results of data analysis are that the social rationality of age, education, number of family members and regional origin are not different, while the variable of farmer experience can influence the enthusiasm of farmers to implement it, the variables of farmer status as cultivators, pest attacks, extension activity, and higher motivation for farmers who implementing IP 200. Economic performance on land area variables greatly influences production and income, thus helping farmers with capital to implement IP200
FACTORS INFLUENCING FARMERS INTEREST IN PEPPER FARMING IN AIR GEGAS VILLAGE SOUTH BANGKA BELITUNG
ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan karakteristik petani berdasarkan faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi minat petani dalam berusahatani lada dan menganalisis faktor-faktor apa yang memengaruhi minat petani dalam berusahatani lada di Desa Air Gegas Kabupaten Bangka Selatan. Waktu dan tempat penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Juni 2023 terhadap petani lada di Desa Air Gegas Kabupaten Bangka Selatan. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah metode observasi, wawancara, dan kuisioner. Metode analisis data menggunakan deskriptif kuantitatif dan regresi binary logistik dengan alat bantu SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi minat petani dalam berusahatani lada di Desa Air Gegas Kabupaten Bangka Selatan yaitu umur petani, pengalaman berusahatani lada, harga jual lada, ketersediaan modal, bantuan pertanian, serta persepsi petani terhadap serangan hama dan penyakit, sedangkan yang tidak berpengaruh yaitu pendidikan petani.This study aims to describe the characteristics of farmers based on factors that influence farmers' interest in pepper farming and analyze what factors influence farmers' interest in pepper farming in Air Gegas Village, South Bangka Regency. The time and place of this research will be carried out in June 2023 on pepper farmers in Air Gegas Village, South Bangka Regency. The data collection used are observation, interview, and questionnaire methods. The data analysis method uses quantitative descriptive and logistic binary regression with SPSS tools. The results showed that Factors that influence farmers' interest in pepper farming in Air Gegas Village, South Bangka Regency are the age of farmers, pepper farming experience, pepper selling prices, capital availability, agricultural assistance, and farmers' perceptions of pest and disease attacks, while those that do not affect are farmer education
KERAGAMAN PLASMA NUTFAH TANAMAN DURIAN (DURIO ZIBETHINUS MURR) DI PULAU BANGKA
Durians In Bangka island have potensials of the diversity which has not been identified yet. The protection of the genetical plants of durian resources have been done by exploration and identification activities. The aim of this research are to discover the amount of Germplasm, the relationship, and the diversity of phenotype of durians in Bangka island. This research started from December 2020 to March 2021. The determination of location has been done by purposive sampling and the technique of taking samples also has been done by convenience sampling. Germplasm characterization consists of qualitative and quantitative characters. The analysis of relationships were used by dendogram according to UPGMA method. The results have discovered over 14 germplasm of durian in Bangka island. Those are Belo,Bujang Kuning, Mangga, Rudal, Katon, Sihijua, Sibola Emas, Putri Dewa, Petaling, Burak 1, Burak 2, Burak 3, T 9, and Simanis. The results of the relationships qualitative analysis were obtained 5 clusters in the level of coefficient similarities 0.49 or 49%. Meanwhile, quantitative were obtained 7 clusters in the level of coefficient 0.31 or 31% and the combined were obtained 5 clusters in the level of coefficient 0.45 or 45%
Analisis Granular Dan Hialin Pada Udang Kaki Putih (Litopenaeus vannamei) Dengan Pemberian Asam Lemak DHA (Docosahexaenoic acid)
White Leg shrimp have a non-specific immune response that can be seen in granular cells and hyaline cells. To support an excellent white-leg shrimp immune response, providing an immunostimulant in the form of docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) is necessary. This research activity aims to determine the percentage of granular and hyaline cells in white-leg shrimp and the immune response of white-leg shrimp. This research was carried out in April 2022 at PT. Emas Sempurna Anugrah, Bangka Belitung. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. There are five ponds studied with different pond sizes and stocking densities. The results showed that the percentage of granular cells is higher than hyaline cells, with an average percentage of granular cells is 57.27%, while the average percentage of hyaline cells is 42.73%. The average THC value is 5,730,000 cells/ml, indicating that the white-leg shrimp's immune response is good but has fluctuating value. The white-leg shrimp's immune response in the pond shows inconsistent results due to external factors such as water quality and bad weather.Udang kaki putih memiliki respon imun udang non-spesifik yang dapat dilihat dari jumlah sel granular dan sel hialin. Pemberian imunostimulan dapat menunjang baiknya respon imun udang kaki putih, maka dalam hal ini pelru adanya pemberian imunostimulan berupa docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) pada pakan udang. Kegiatan penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui persentase sel granular dan hialin pada udang kaki putih serta respon imun udang kaki putih. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan April 2022 sampai selesai di PT. Emas Sempurna Anugrah, Kabupaten Bangka Barat, Provinsi Kepulauan Bangka Belitung. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Tambak yang diteliti berjumlah 5 kolam dengan ukur kolam dan padat tebar yang berbeda. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa persentase sel granular lebih tinggi dibandingkan sel hialin dengan rata rata persentase sel granular adalah 57.27%, sedangkan rata rata persentase sel hialin adalah 42.73 %. Nilai THC rata rata 5.730.000 sel/ml, nilai ini menunjukkan bahwa respon imun udang kaki putih dikatakan baik namun nilai yang fluktuatif. Respon imun udang kaki putih pada keseluruhan kolam menunjukkan hasil yang tidak stabil diakibatkan ada faktor eksternal seperti kualitas air dan cuaca yang buruk
Suplementasi Fucoidan Padina dari Perairan Lampung untuk Meningkatkan Respon Imun Udang Vannamei
Padina, one of the brown algae, grows in many tropical waters including in Lampung. Padina contains fucoidan, a sulfated polysaccharide, which has been shown to have a wide range of bioactivity. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of fucoidan Padina sp. from Lampung waters to enhance the non-specific immune response in Pacific white shrimp. Padina sp. was collected from Ketapang Beach, Pesawaran, Lampung then the Padina’s fucoidan was acidly extracted by previously method. Fucoidan then supplemented to 10 vananmei shrimp (size 10 g) each container (45 L) for 14 days. The study was conducted with a complete randomized design trial (CRD) consisting of 3 treatments and 4 repeats including fucoidan supplementation at a dose of 0 mg/kg (control); 750 mg/kg; and 1500 mg/kg of feed. Every day, shrimp were fed as much as 3% of biomass with a frequency of 4 times. Four nonspecific immune response of shrimp including total hemocyte count (THC), phagocytosis activity (PA), phagocytosis index (PI), and total plasma protein (TPP) were mesured on day 0; 7; and 14 after fucoidan supplementation. The results showed the administration of fucoidan extract Padina sp. gives significantly different results to THC and TPP enhancements. Supplementation treatment of 750 mg/kg fucoidan Padina is the best treatment to increase nonspecific immune response in Pacific white shrimp.Padina sp., salah satu alga cokelat, banyak tumbuh di perairan tropis termasuk di Lampung. Padina mengandung fucoidan, polisakarida bersulfat, yang terbukti memiliki berbagai macam bioaktivitas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas fucoidan Padina sp. dari Perairan Lampung untuk meningkatkan respon imun non-spesifik pada udang vaname. Alga coklat Padina sp. dikoleksi dari Pantai Ketapang, Pesawaran, Lampung. Ekstraksi fucoidan dari Padina sp. dilakukan dengan metode asam kemudian disuplementasikan ke 10 ekor udang vananmei (ukuran 10 g) yang dipelihara dalam kontainer ukuran 45 L selama 14 hari. Penelitian dilakukan dengan percobaan rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) yang terdiri atas 3 perlakuan dan 4 ulangan meliputi suplementasi fucoidan dengan dosis 0 mg/kg (control); 750 mg/kg; dan 1500 mg/kg pakan. Setiap hari, udang diberi pakan sebanyak 3% dari biomassa dengan frekuensi 4 kali. Pengambilan sampel hemolim (0,2 ml/ekor) untuk pengamatan parameter respon imun non-spesifik udang vannamei dilakukan pada hari ke-0; 7; dan 14. Empat parameter respon imun nonspesifik udang vaname meliputi total hemocyte count (THC), aktivitas fagositosis (AF), indeks fagositosis (IF), dan total protein plasma (TPP) diamati setiap kali pengambilan hemolim dari masing-masing kontainer (4 udang/kontainer). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pemberian ekstrak fucoidan Padina sp. memberikan hasil yang berbeda nyata terhadap peningkatan THC dan TPP. Perlakuan suplementasi 750 mg/kg fucoidan Padina merupakan perlakuan terbaik untuk meningkatkan respon imun nonspesifik pada udang vaname
Aktivitas Antibakteri Ekstrak Isolat Jamur Endofit Aspergillus sp. yang Berasosiasi dengan Mangrove Rhizhopora apiculata terhadap Patogen Ikan Laut
Exploration of microorganisms containing secondary metabolite compounds with antimicrobial properties, especially in marine fish pathogenic bacteria, is urgently required. This study aims to test the antibacterial effectiveness of endophytic fungal extracts from the mangrove plant Rhizopora apiculata in the Petengoran Mangrove Forest against pathogenic bacteria in marine fish such as V. alginolyticus and P. damselae spp. The endophytic fungal isolate found was a fungus from the genus Aspergillus sp after observing its morphological form macroscopically and microscopically. Ethyl acetate extract of mangrove endophytic fungi with a concentration of 500 µg/disc and 1000 µg/disc was dripped onto a 6mm paper disc and then placed on the pathogenic bacterial isolate. Measurement of the diameter of the clear zone produced around the paper disc after 24 hours concluded that the antibacterial effectiveness of the endophytic fungal extract against V. alginolyticus was 27.27% (500 µg/disc) and 32.32% (1000 µg/disc). Meanwhile, its effectiveness against P. damselae spp is 27.27% (500 µg/disc) and 34.82% (1000 µg/disc). The isolate extract from the endophytic fungus Aspergillus in this study has the potential to produce antibacterial compounds in marine fish pathogens.Eksplorasi mikroorganisme yang mengandung senyawa metabolit sekunder dengan khasiat seperti antimikroba terutama pada bakteri patogen ikan laut masih terus dilakukan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji efektivitas antibakteri ekstrak jamur endofit dari tumbuhan mangrove Rhizopora apiculata di Hutan Mangrove Petengoran terhadap bakteri patogen pada ikan laut seperti V. alginolyticus dan P. damselae spp. Isolat jamur endofit yang ditemukan adalah jamur dari genus Aspergillus sp . setelah diamati bentuk morfologisnya secara makroskopis dan mikroskopis. Ekstrak etil asetat jamur endofit mangrove dengan konsentrasi 500 µg/disk dan 1000 µg/disk diteteskan pada kertas cakram disk 6mm kemudian diletakkan pada isolat bakteri patogen. Pengukuran diameter zona bening yang dihasilkan di sekitar kertas cakram setelah 24 jam menyimpulkan bahwa efektivitas antibakteri ekstrak jamur endofit terhadap V.alginolyticus adalah 27,27%(500 µg/disk) dan 32,32% (1000 µg/disk). Sedangkan efektivitasnya terhadap P. damselae spp adalah 27,27% (500 µg/disk) dan 34,82% (1000 µg/disk). Ekstrak isolat jamur endofit Aspergillus sp. dalam penelitian ini berpotensi sebagai penghasil senyawa antibakteri pada patogen ikan laut
IDENTIFIKASI POTENSI IKAN TILAN ( Mastacembelus Armatus ) PADA PERAIRAN DUSUN KELUMBI, DESA BUYAN KELUMBI, KECAMATAN TEMPILANG, BANGKA BARAT
Salah satu keanekaragaman hayati yang ada di Indonesia adalah Ikan Tilan (Mastacembelus armatus). Ikan air tawar yang termasuk dalam famili Mastacembelidae ini sudah sulit ditemukan di alam liar. Ikan Tilan dikenal juga dengan nama Ikan Mirik dan Sili di beberapa daerah. Penelitian ini terdiri atas dua kegiatan, yaitu eksplorasi penangkapan dan mengidentifikasi ikan. Eksplorasi dilakukan pada September 2023 pada aliran sungai di Dusun Kelumbi, Kabupaten Bangka Barat, Provinsi Kepulauan Bangka Belitung. Penangkapan ikan menggunakan tanggok. Parameter yang diamati adalah morfologi dan meristik pada ikan. Ikan Tilan yang ditemukan di perairan Desa Buyan Kelumbi, Bangka Barat memiliki ciri morfologi berwarna coklat, bentuk tubuh Anguilliform, dengan ekor yang meruncing. Karakter meristik yang ditemukan adalah D.XXI.20, P.I.2, A.II.3, dan tidak memiliki sirip ventral. Berdasarkan karakter tersebut, Ikan Tilan di perairan Desa Buyan Kelumbi diidentifikasikan sebagai Mastacembelus armatus.
 
PELATIHAN DAN PRAKTIK PEMBUATAN VLOG BISNIS BERBAHASA INGGRIS UNTUK MENDUKUNG PROMOSI PRODUK UMKM PASCA COVID-19 DI MALANG
Terdapat dua pelaku UMKM di wilayah Malang yaitu Mustika Jamur dan Sari Kedelai Alfi yang memerlukan solusi untuk meningkatkan penjualan mereka setelah terjadinya pandemi. Solusi untuk membantu dua pemilik usaha UMKM yaitu ide kegiatan pelatihan dan praktik pembuatan vlog bisnis berbahasa Inggris. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilaksanakan di tempat usaha Mustika Jamur dan Sari Kedelai Alfi yang berada di Malang. Pemilihan lokasi didasarkan pada produk UMKM yang bergerak di bidang makanan dan atau minuman yang berada di wilayah Malang. Beberapa tahapan kegiatan yang sudah dilakukan ada empat tahapan, meliputi (1) memberikan pengetahuan tentang pengertian dan konsep vlog bisnis, (2) memberikan pengetahuan tentang teknik-teknik pembuatan vlog bisnis, (3) menyusun naskah untuk pembuatan vlog bisnis berbahasa Inggris, dan (4) praktik membuat vlog bisnis berbahasa Inggris. Hasil Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini telah memberikan dampak yang baik untuk pelaku UMKM yang dipilih. Mereka mampu membuat vlog yang digunakan untuk bahan media promosi UMKM guna meningkatkan penjualan. Vlog yang dibuat dalam bahasa Inggris juga diharapkan untuk mendatangkan konsumen dari luar.There are two MSME business owners in the Malang area, namely Mustika Jamur and Sari Kedelai Alfi who need a solution to increase their sales after the pandemic. The solution to help two MSME business owners is the idea of training activities and the practice of making business vlogs in English. This activity held at Mustika Jamur and Sari Kedelai Alfi in Malang. Location selection is based on MSME products operating in the food and/or beverage sector in the Malang area. There are four stages of activities that have been carried out, including (1) providing knowledge about the meaning and concept of business vlogs, (2) providing knowledge about techniques for making business vlogs, (3) preparing a script for making business vlogs in English, and ( 4) practice making business vlogs in English. The results of this community service activity have had a good impact on the selected MSMEs. They are able to create vlogs which are used as promotional media material for MSMEs to increase sales. Vlogs made in English are also expected to attract consumers from abroad
